When Berlin wall can be broken by the people then why not there can be peace , love and care between the people of both sides . We both have same culture , values and traditions . Whats the reason that now Zindgi is getting its feet in the small town also ? Because it reminds people the same values , culture and same problems . Its only we commoner who can bridge this gap whatever is happened but our roots are same . Freedom struggle was fought together not keeping in mind the religion , cast or creed . So should not ruin our past history where all communities lived together as family .
I think what ever the bold line said it was in positive way and should respect each other not going in to petty things . I do not carry patriotism as a tag , we are first human and believe in humanity . People will always be there to bring the hatred .

It is a awesome drama !!! I watched on youtube and I couldn't help but cry and feel miserable for Bano. Everybody's acting is mind-blowing 👏 I didn't feel like I was watching a serial, it felt like I was actually in that situation...really wanted Bano to be happy. Guess happy and satisfaction are two different things 😭 Amazing acting, wonderful actors, no faltu bs...this drama needs to be aired. People need to see the two sides of the coin. Hats off to their acting !!! 👍🏼

There is no comparison between the Berlin wall situation and the creation of Pakistan. Pakistan was the result of a political struggle and the democratic expression of our people's will who voted for a party with a clear and principled demand for an independent country. As for "similar culture", there are differences between our cultures too and lots of similarities between Pakistani culture and that of Turkey or Iran specially in terms of the Sufi influence but we arent going to become one mega-country because of these cultural similarities and the similar faith with Iran or Turkey either.

As for finding things to relate to, I can watch British or American entertainment and find things that resonate with me there as well. All humanity has collective roots but that doesnt change the reality of different states and different identities. This is not a petty issue, its the matter of the very existence of Pakistan so of course Pakistanis arent willing to compromise on this. Its not hatred to love your country and support it, its natural.

Who said that one should not love one,s country ? And please do not take my words in wrong direction . Can nor we both live together peacefully without going in to politics . I can feel the pain of Bano as she was for me a faceless woman who represented thousands of women in similar situation belonging to any community , went through hell . So i do not need any kind of lecture about freedom struggle . We all are quite aware of that tragedy . Good bad people are every where . Its we who can bring peace and keep humanity intact with our efforts .

There's no contradiction between peace, humanity and what I said. The human choice of Pakistanis for a separate country should be respected, that's the way to lasting peace. Not expressing the desire to undo the motherland that was attained through hard struggle and even harder sacrifice. It is not a non-political statement to deny someone the right to exist, infact its an entirely political stance.

My point is clear. Peace between the 2 countries is obviously a worthy goal and it can only be attained by moving forward, not by going back or through false idealizations of the past.

And yes, the plight of thousands of women in the partirion and other conflict situations in world history has been extremely heart-wrenching.
