will Dastaan b onaired ?

hey everyone !

it's not really necessary to put every show on the channel.

I honestly don't think it will be aired. I am sure some radical group somewhere will do a dharna and start asking for banning the entire channel . humare yahaan logon ke paas kaphi phaltu waqt hai.

I think I saw the promos. Not sure though.

I hope they don't air Dastaan. I really truly would have loved watching Fawad's Hassan on my TV but there are many many many who would definitely create a big issue out of this show. There are some souls protesting on twitter about cigarette smoking being shown in ZGH & that it is illegal and that they will complaint to some authorities even though Smoking Kills is mentioned onscreen as per the rules I think. I have also seen the anti Pak/anti India comments being thrown by some stupid souls on the Humsafar OST in the Zindagi YT channel.

So yea airing Dastaan would be kind of a very bad decision on Zee's side.

I m Pakistani. I dnt think they wil air dastan. Even dastan was amazing drama. Loved it.

Hmm,is it that communal btw? I know the story is from a Pakistani's POV. But as long as it doesn't demean India,its fine.

Any Indian here who has seen it and can throw some light into it?

A few of my frnz have watched it,but only in bits and pieces,so cant really consider their reviews.

But if they do air it,I think they'll make sure to cut scenes(if there are any) that might be tagged as offensive.

Its not really Anti Indian Infact first time bano is saved from a rape by a hindu, then another time a Sikh man helps her. And lastly its again a Sikh woman who helps her reach Pakistan finally. The thing is Dastaan is not only abt partition, its abt a lot of other msgs. Depends upon how u look at it. Its a abt how a woman became the worst victim of Partition because there are bano's from both sides of the border still trapped in forceful marraiges and rapes. The show also shows how there is a basanta(Antagosnist of the show) every where partition or no partition and how human relationships change after a certain situation especially if the situation is of a rape victim.
The only flaw of Dastaan is that itt doesnt really acknowledge the killings of hindus the way it should but then its a pakistani show ought to be like dat. Just India has made films like gadar and Pinjar, pakistan made Dastaan.
And its better not to show dastaan on zindagi though I would love to see Fawad n Sanam and their amazing chemistry on mty TV screen
