Randhir , who was himself going through a whirlwind of emotions decided to tell her it all before it was too late!
It was their farewell party . Yes they had completed their engineering successfully and were now planning to use their skills for the betterment of the world! Randhir had decided that tonight he'll confess everything to her and make her his forever.
In his room lay a white packet containg a blue saree with golden borders . He had also bought a matching golden bracelet to pair it up with . The box was covered with a pick wrapping paper and had a note on it which said " From MCP ".
He hurriedly walked upto the girls hostel . He spotted the warden and asked her to drop the packet to sanyukta's room . She agreed and he left from there. As the warden was walking towards Sanyu's room . She received a call from her family stating a emergency and that she needed to leave ASAP. The warden spotted Vidhushi and she asked her to give the packet to Sanyukta as they were room mates. She nodded and looked at the packet . It read " From MCP" She immediately understood that Randhir had sent this gift for Sanyukta . Vidushi vowed to never leave Sanyukta at peace. She took everything away from her, her scholarship, her internship and even Parth. It was her time to repay. She tiptoed towards their room with a victorious smile playing on her lips.

RANDHIR'S POV
I brushed my fingers through my hair and looked at myself in front of the mirror. Smart? Yes. Handsome? Yes. The Best? Yes. Impressing girls came naturally to me, probably an inbuilt qualityI didn't have to do much to grab their attention. Randhir Shekhawat, the most popular guy in school and now in college. But the truth was I never yearned for their attention. . If women were like my mother I would rather not be with anyone.
I was never the one who would run after girls. They were the ones who ran after me. That was the cycle. But now, things had changed . I never felt like this. Never. No girl ever challenged me for a battle everytime. But she did. She was the only one who had managed to break that wall around me, who had pulled up the curtains of my heart and...I let her do that ! I have already devoted every particle of my being to her!Just taking her name itself sent jitters down my spine. I was new at this. I was new at this whole spectrum of human emotion. It was impossible to ignore her. How many times had I tried to stay away from her but fate always brought her even closer to me. We always turned out to be lab partners. We always ended up going to competitions together in different colleges. However hard I tried, she was like a magnet, pulling myself towards her. Whenever she talked to me, I could never look away. I noticed every single thing about her. The way her nose flared up at the loss of counter replies, the way she pushed her hair behind her ear with her beautiful fingers, the luscious lips which had kissed mine with so much passion in the first year . We had kissed more passionately in hate than anyone would do in love. From friends to best friends and also soon to be my girlfriend she has changed my life . Like a flower she blossoms into my barren life. She gives a meaning to my existence. She has taught me how to love someone oh so unconditionally and today I will make her mine forever. Hell she had always been mine, ever since the day she stepped into FITE!
GIRLS DORM
Kaustuki :" sanyukta..hurry up!! What's taking you so long to get ready?!" She said while admiring herself in the mirror
Sanyukta: " yeaaahh..wait m coming, just 2 more minutes" she replied from her washroom
Kaustuki : " sanyuu!! Come out fast we are getting late.. Jiggy has almost called me 20 times"
Sanyukta came out and kaustuki's mouth opened widely.. She kept staring at her .
. She was wearing a purple saree with a black deepcut blouse . The saree was a designer one and she just added to it's beauty. She had worn a set of black and red bangles in one hand and a beautiful bracelet on the other to be paired up with black danglers. To say she looked amazing would be an understatement.
Kaustuki stared at her with a mouth rounded in a perfect O .
OMG Sanyukta you look so pretty . I'm sure aaj to all the boys at the party will keep on staring at you. I don't know what will Randhir do when he'll see all the guys staring at his Farzi with so much lust in their eyes!!" said Kaustuki in a teasing tone.
" shut up Kaustuki. Uss sadu ne mujhe 2 saalon mein propose nahi kiya .. Aaj kya karega. ... But if today also he does not say anything , I will propose to him. I don't believe it when I'm saying this but ...ummm...Main uske bina jee nahi sakti ! " said a sanyukta with a crimson red blush on her face!
" I'm so happy for you Sanyu!! Ab chalo jaldi YoYo has called me 30 times since the past hour . Lets go !"

PARTY
Randhir was sitting with Parth , sahil, YoYo and Jiggy .All the boys were giving him tips to propose her and Randhir was for the first time actually listening to what someone else was telling him . He was listening to what Sahil was saying when suddenly he saw a change of expression on everyone's faces. He turned around to see Kaustuki entering the party in a red saree fulfilling yoyo's holi wish to see her in a red saree. And then his breath hitched...The world froze as he saw her enter the party venue. She was looking as beautiful as ever. With just kajal, mascara and a little lip gloss she looked ethereal in that purple saree...Wait what Purple?? He had gifted her a blue saree. Then why the heck she did not wear it? I'm very sure she would have liked it as blue was her favourite colour ..? then why ?
Kaustuki and Sanyukta approached the boy group . Sanyukta greeted everyone and went forward to hug Randhir. She could smell his cologne , a mixture of mint and musk ...a heavenly smell. She was about to compliment him on that when she stopped herself realisng that he did'nt hug her back beacsue that was unusual ,Randhir would always reciprocate. Infact he would hug her tighter ...Then why is he not doing it today. She slowly left him and looked at his confused unable to understand what was he thinking. She smiled faintly towards him but he did not return the gesture. She thought maybe he is tensed about something. The Dream team were talking among themselves when Sahil's jaw dropped. He pointed towards a girl wearing a blue saree with golden borders and a golden bracelet with it. In short vidhushi attracted many lustful eyes! But among all the males sitting there , one was looking at her with eyes full of fury . He turned towards Sanyukta and saw her smiling towards Vidhushi. He slammed his glass on the counter and walked out but not before giving vidhushi a death glare! Of course she understood , what he had meant.
Sanyukta on the other hand sensed something wrong. She walked out following Randhir mentally reciting her lines which she would say when she confessed her love for him.
FITE GARDEN
Randhir was hell annoyed with Sanyukta. " If she did not like the saree she should have just not worn it. Why did she insult me like this by giving that saree ,which I bought for her with so much love, to some random chick? "
" Randhir ...Randhir what's wrong ? all okay ?" Asked Sanyukta with a hand placed gently on his shoulder .
Randhir angrily jerked her hand off ," just what on earth do you think of yourself Sanyukta ? hy did you do this with me haan? Kya jaat tumhara agar tum wo saari pehen leti to? Aur agar nahi pehni thi toh na pehnethi vidhushi ko dene ki kya zarurat thi? " He inched closer to her and squeezed her arms in his hands and dug his nails into her arms. She winced in pain but did not budge even an inch she was confused..She wanted to know what he was thinking about? " This is what I hate about you apni iss generosity ki wajah se har koi tumhe bana kar chala jata hai! Answer me Sanyukta why did you do this ?" " Randhir , listen to me once. I really don't know what you are talking about ! Please start se puri baat batao ."
" that effing Saree which vidhushi is wearing , Is the saree I had bought for you as a gift. I had asked the warden to give it to you but you chose not to wear it and dispose it off to someone so worthless of it ?? How could you snayukta ? "
He left her arms with such a force that she almost stumbled back. She immediately fished her phone out of her bag and called the warden. Switching the speaker on ...
Warden - Hello?
Sanyukta - Hello..Ma'am I'm Sanyukta here. Ma'am wo actually mujhe aapse kuch puchna tha...Kya Randhir ne aapko mere liye koi gift dia tha kya?
W - Haan beta , wo toh actually mere ghar pe kuch emergency aa gayi thi isliye maine wo vidhushi ko de diya tha tumhe den eke liye...I hope you have received that saree!
Sanyukta disconnected the call and at a bewildered Randhir. She walked towards him and hugged him softly. Randhir hugged her back and buried his head onto her shoulder and let his tears flow . He felt guilting for screaming and calling the love of his life names because of that good-for-nothing twerp.
She slowly whispered into his ears , " It's okay Randhir. I understand. ...Please stop crying .. It's not your fault...All these things na ..they happen!" She parted from him and he immediately felt his heaven was snatched from him. He looked into her twinkling orbs and smiled when she continued , " It's the thought that matters! Anways I must say nice choice ! "
He looked down onto her arms and saw those bluish marks and a little bleeding as well! He bent lower and kissed her bruises , he kissed her bruises away. As if on cue, it started raining. She closed her eyes relishing the feeling of completeness dwelling her insides as she felt his lips on her arms . He turned his face towards hers and he gently kissed her shut eyes , her nose her forehead and hugged her once again. This time when they parted , he leaned in and she did too.
They're first actual kiss in the rains...
