"Hmmm, It's very delicious!" She said as she ate the food.
"Now will you answer my questions?"
She grinned and replied "well, you asked why you are here, you are here because you are under my protection, I'm your protector for the time being and the second question was how you are related to my mission, it's because of your mother."
"My mother? What do you mean?"
"Ah! I promise to answer those questions, I can't answer new one, you have to cook for me again to get your answers."
Dev clutched his fist tightly, controlling his anger, even though she's beautiful, she's damn irritating. How can his mother relate to her mission? Why is he being protected and from whom?. There are so many question he wanted to ask but the darling girl is having her merry time eating. How beautiful she looks, her lips, oh wow they are like sweet strawberries, thin but sensual, the way she lick her lips aroused Dev in an instant. Damn Dev! what are you doing? She's an enemy!
"So you wouldn't answer my questions unless I cook for you?"
She grinned, ah!her smile is dazzling! Dev! Start a fan club of her! She's enemy!
"You got that right unless you promise me that you will cook for me everyday."
"If I do that, you'll answer my every question?"
"Hmm, this is heaven, you are best cook!"
Dev smiled at her innocence then instantly wiped it off.
"If I promise, you will answer my questions?" He repeated.
"You promise? I warn you if you break the promise, you'll regret."
"How?"
"promises are not meant to be broken because if you break them, you break the trust and trust can't be same after you broke it, you will regret."
How noble! Dev, focus!
"Ok. I promise to cook for you everyday if you promise to answer my question, every question."
She nodded with a smile.
"Now, how is my mother related to you?"
"She's a raven too!"
"What?"
"There are two kinds of raven, one are the ravens you see normally, the birds one. Second are mystical raven, like me and your mother and many more of us, we are angels in a form of ravens, we are granted human form for specific period, only for decade, if we wish to have human form again, we have to pray for it by chanting a mantra while using the precious gem called tanzanite, that gem grants us power, lets say that gem holds our life. That gem is as powerful as you can imagine, if a human get hold of it, he will be powerful enough to destroy the world, the more times it has been used, the more powerful is the gem, so we don't let any human see it without trusting them. Your mother trusted---"
"Don't ever tell him about his enemy and what is happening to me! I don't want him to get involved! Promise me!"
"Why'd you stop?"
"I forgot to tell you something, there are some questions I can't answer, the ones you're mother don't want, I promised her."
"Why? Why won't she tell me anything? She don't even talk to me! Why will she not tell me something very special? She..always kept me away from her! why she never loved..me?" Dev asked himself.
"Don't you ever say she doesn't love you! She won't protect you if she doesn't!"
Dev was still in his thoughts, completely unaware of her.
"That's right! I'm still dreaming!" Dev said aloud.
"It's a dream! Everything is a dream! It's too unreal to be true and too mystical, I just have to wake u---Ouch! Why did you do that?" Dev said and rubbed his arm where she had pinched him.
"It's not a dream, it's real. Your mother is in danger, now that you are gone from her."
"What?"

"Where is he?" A deep, menacing shout of a man pierced her ears.
She raised her chin proudly, and replied "I won't tell you! He is safe, safe from you!"
"You witch!" He barked and took a step forward towards her but he couldn't walk further, held by her magic.
"You are saved because of your damn powers! You won't be safe forever!"
"There won't be forever! I'm giving away my life! Once my son is safe, I'm never coming back to human life!"
"You will come back! For your son! He won't be safe as long as I live, don't you think that I'll let you go easily. I've waited years for this."
She went still at his threat.
"You won't gain anything after you lost me, you may have my gem but I won't be there to pray!"
He smirked and replied "I will still gain something, revenge my dear, if I can't have the power I want, you're son don't have his life"
Tears sprang from his eyes as she shouted at him "You're cruel! Damn you! Go to hell!"
He smirked and replied "Think about it, give me power or lose your son." He said and went away from her.
She fell on her knees as she cried out, she never had a chance to love her son, to touch him, to care for him, much less look at him, just because of him, that bas***d. She thought if she could take her son away from him before she turn raven, he will never get a chance to harm her son. But now even if she turn raven, he will still hunt her son and kill him, just to get his revenge. That will get her nothing, neither her son's life nor her human life, what can she do to protect her son's life.

"You have to tell me!"
"I can't Dev, I promised your mother, I can't break that promise."
"I can't sit here while my mother is in danger! Ok, don't tell me but bring me to my mother."
"It's same like telling you, she don't want you to get involve, that's why you're under protection, you will just worsen the situation!"
"How will I worsen the situation if I'm there to protect her?"
"Because..eh, I really can't tell you. As of now you're mother is safe, she can protect herself, she can't be harmed unless you are harmed, that's why she kept you here, under my protection. You must understand being here is the only way you can save your mother or else she'll lose everything."
"I..I don't want to lose her..She may have kept herself away from me..but I still love her." Dev said in a shaky voice
Radhika felt bad seeing him, she can't tell him, she shouldn't have promised him. What does a human do to comfort someone? Ah! A magical hug!
"That's why I'm saying stay here so the things don't get worsen." She said as she slid her arms against his waist and rested her head on his chest.
Dev was taken back by her gesture, he didn't expect this. He took her in his embrace and tighten it, crushing her.
"What are you doing?" Radhiks asked as she struggled to loosen his arm.
"I won't let go off you until you tell me everything, also my mother's location."
"Like I will tell you!" She said and used her power to remove his arms inspite his great struggle of tightening them.
"I was comforting you and you, well I've been already told human forget favors easily.I expect less from you." She said and went away.
"If you won't tell me, I'll discover it myself." He murmured to himself.
