Chapter 11

Rudra was running towards the smoke. When he came near he saw that there was a small house which was totally on fire. He tried to find a way in to the house but when he came near to the front door the door bang opened and someone came out of the house with the whole body covered with fire Rurda tried to save that man which was actually Karma but it was too late and Karma fell down like a dead tree.

The whole main entrance was on fire so Rudra tried to find some other way in. After searching for few mints he found a window.

"Hello is anybody in there??" he asked but there was no sound other than a faint sound of water flowing.

He decided to follow the sound and broke the window with his kick and went in to the room. Soon he realize that the sound was coming from behind the bathroom door. He pushed open the door there was no fire in there due to water but the bathroom was filled with black smoke. Rudra tried to look through the smoke and found Paro laying there like a dead body on the floor.

He rushed towards her to pick her up and run out of the house. He run as away from the fire as he could and laid her down on the ground.

He was trembling with the fear of losing her. O God she is not breathing. He thought while checking her. He tried to pump her heart by pushing her chest by both of his hand. Come on Paro breath breath don't leave me not now. O God she is still not breathing. He thought. Paro was not responding to any of his first aid procedure.

Then he tried the last option left. No Rudra you have to do this otherwise she could die. And placed his lips on hers and send all the breath he could in to Paro. He repeated the procedure many times but all in vain. She was there laying like a dead lamb after slaughter. Rudra's eyes were filled with tears.

"NO PARO NO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WAKE UP DON'T DIE NOT NOW. PLEASE PLEASE FORGIVE ME. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE. PLEASE I LOVE YOU." Rudra screamed while holding Paro in his arms and started crying hard. He thought that he has lost the only most precious thing in his life his one and only love Paro.

"Aho aho aho really??" Paro asked in a broken voice while coughing hard.

"PARO!!" Rudra screamed in joy and gave her a bone crushing hug.

Paro was happy to be safe and having Rudra near her when she gained her consciousness. Rudra helped Paro to sit. Both were quit for a moment.

Paro was unable to resist and asked "Rudra what you were saying when I gain my consciousness??"

Rudra tried to hide his emotion and said "Ahm ahm no nothing I was just worried about you."

"Please stop lying now Rudra please." Paro said in a deep and painful voice.

"No I am not lie..." Rudra said and his voice broke.

"Ok you are not lying han?? Then it is my life and you don't have to worry about me." Saying this Paro stud up and started moving towards the fire.

Rudra run and stopped Paro "ARE YOU MAD WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS??"

"YES I AM MAD. I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANYMORE. YOU DON'T LOVE ME NA? FINE THEN STAY AWAY FROM ME AND LET ME DO WHAT I AM DOING." Paro screamed on Rudra.

"NO I WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO DO THIS. KYA TM NY AIK BAR B SOCHA K MR. SINGH PY KYA BITY GE?" Rudra replied in the same tone by grabbing both her arms.

"WO KUCH DIN ROAIN GY PHIR SAMBHL JAIN GY JYSY MAMA K JANY PY SAMBHLY THY. TMY KYA FRAK PRTA HAI MAIN MARUN YA ZINDA RAHUN." Paro replied and tried to free her arms.

Rudra tried to stop her but all his efforts were not working and at last he used the last option left "MJHY FARK PRTA HAI." Rudra screamed.

After listening to this Paro stop resisting and asked in a low voice "Ku farak prta hai??"

Rudra replied in a deep and low voice "Because I love you."

"Wao Major Sahb boht achy. Ab kah dijiay k ya bhi jhot hai hmysha ki trha. Bol dijiay k ap ko apny General ki byti ki life bachany k liay jhot bolny ki training bhi di jati hai." Paro's eyes were now filled with tears and she was trying to free herself but Rudra was holding her arms tight.

"No please Paro believe me. Now I am not lying. Phly boly gaye har jhoot k liay sorry mgr please trust me I really love you." Rudra tried to convince her.

"Mgr mjhy tmhari kisi bat py yakeen nahi. Prove it that you are not lying." Paro said in a very painful voice.

Rudra hold her face with both of his hands and kissed her left cheek while saying "Mny phly bhi tm sy kabhi bdla nahi liya na hi kabhi ly skta hun myri feelings tmhary liay us wqt bhi yahi thin jo ab han. Tb boly gaye har jhoot k liay sorry Paro." Paro was now breathing hard and closed her eyes all this touching was bringing fire to her face.

Rudra trailed his lips on her forehead and said while kissing "Hn mjhy fark prta hai jb bhi Raghav tmhary kareb ata hai."

Then he trailed his lips towards her right cheek and said while kissing "Han mjhy fark prta hai jb bhi Raghav tmhain chuta hai."

And trailed his lips towards her little chin and said while kissing "Sorry her us bt har us glti k liay jis sy kabhi tmhari eyes main ansu aye hon. I am really really sorry. And I love you Paro."

Saying this his lips found hers. This touch was like a spark to light up the fire of love in both of them. He kissed her and tried to pour all his love for her in to this kiss. He tried to make her believe that he truly love her. And it took only a few seconds to bring out a response from Paro. She kissed him back with all the strength left in her. Her hands moved from his back to his hairs and she grabbed a hand full of his hairs.

He tried to move little away so that Paro could breath but she was grabbing him too hard so that he was unable to move away. He smiled on her lips and stop trying to move away and moved his hands from her face to her back and pulled her more towards him. They were like glued with each other for a long moment. Finally their kiss broke when both of them were out of breath.

Paro was very happy with the way how Rudra tell her that how much he love her. She hugged Rudra with happiness. "O Rudra I love you too." Paro said and started crying.

Rudra backed from the hug and said "Shhh Paro its ok I know I have hurt you a lot but please cheer up. Or jb tk main tmhary sath hun hmy kuch nahi hony hun ga." He said. "Paro ya kya hua? Tmy kisi ny koi nuqsan to nahi pohnchaya?? You fine na??" Rudra got worried when he watch the torn shoulder of Paro's dress.

"No Rudra I am fine. And I think he would be dead by now. Because I heard him screaming for help when I was in the bathroom." Paro tried to calm Rudra down.

Rudra offered Paro his black coat. Paro accepted and wear without arguing to satisfy him.

"Ok now come Mr. Singh is really very worried about you." Rudra said and offered Paro his hand.

While walking in the jungle Paro was unable to resist herself and asked "Rudra why did to lied to me in the first place in front of the orphanage."

Rudra stopped after hearing the question and said "I was scared"

"Scared of what please tell me??" Paro asked in a worried tone.

"Because I don't want to lose Mr. Singh as a father like my mom." Rudra said in a very low voice.

"Your mom." Paro said in a shock.

"Yes my mom. She wanted me to become an army officer like my father. But I always wanted to become an engineer. I never told my mom that I have applied for engineering not for army. And then that day came when I got admission in the engineering university. I told my mom that I have got the admission in the university and thought that my mom would be happy for me. But she said "Why are you doing this? It is my dream k main tmhy army uniform main dykhun like your father."

But I was totally against my dad at that time. And I said"DAD KI TRHA BANO DAD KI TRHA BANO BAR BAR AIK HI BAT. KYA DIYA IS ARMY NY HAMY??? DAD TO HMARY PASS NAHI HAI NA?? OR WO BHI ISI ARMY KI WAJA SY. MOM AP KU NAHI SAMJHTI K MAIN ENGINEER HI BANU GA. OR AGR AP NAHI AGREE HON GE THEN I WOULD LEAVE THIS HOME RIGHT NOW."I screamed and left her alone.

And when I came back after an hour or 2 I found my mom laying on the floor where I have left her. I run to call the ambulance. Doctors said that she had a very severe heart attack and she have left only some hours. While dying she said "Byta your father was a great mam. Unho ny apni jan di for the people of this country. Un sy kabhi naraz mat hona he really loved you a lot."And gave me this Rudraksh bracelet saying that this belong to my father." He showed her his hand on which the bracelet was tide and started crying.

Paro hugged him tight and said "Shhh shhh shant I am here with you I can understand that how does it feel to lose your mom."

"I lost her Paro. I lost her and it was all because of me. Apni wish k pichy bhagty huay mny un ko kho diya. And ab main aysa phir sy nahi hony dyna chata tha. Myri wish jo k tm ho tmhari waja sy I don't want to lose him too." Rudra said while crying hard on Paro's shoulder.

"O no Rudra please please calm down." She backed from the hug and cupped his face with both of her hand "Here look at me I am here na? And you know what he loves you. He would never prefer Raghav over you when he would came to know that i love you too. Now please calm down we would talk to him both of us. Ok??"

Rudra looked at her face and nodded. Paro cleared tears from his face with her hands and kissed both his eyelids. "Now ask them to stop weeping. Or I would need to take some sever steps." Just after saying that Paro realized that what she had done so while smiling she looked down on the ground and started blushing.

Rudra felt like all his pain was gone. And by watching her blushing like that he asked in a mischievous tone. "Acha and what are those steps. Han??" he said while smiling.

Paro put all her strength to lift her eyelids up and look at Rudra. When she saw him smiling she understood that he is all fine but now he is only teasing her. She pushed him away and started running away.

Rudra run after to catch her. He grabbed her and pushed her on a tree. Now both of his hands were on the tree trunk and in between his hand Paro was standing facing him while breathing hard.

"Hmmm now come on tell me what those steps are??" He whispered in Paros ear. She turned rose red and this sight was the most beautiful site for Rudra.

"Wo...Actually...I..." Paro tried to complete her sentence but failed because Rudra was moving his right hand on Paro's back under his coat while saying "Hmmm yes you..." Paro's skin was burning under his hands and it was getting harder to breath. "I...I..." she tried again to complete her sentence but just then she felt his left hand on her back too.

She felt like she would melt with the way Rudra's hands were touching her and the way he was looking at her. Without any delay she moved forward and placed her lips on his and this time it was a kiss of happiness, love, joy and all the good emotions of the world. Rurda felt that he had found the most precious treasure of the world when Paro kissed her like that. Now there was no confusion no doubt in there hearts about each other's feeling. It was crustal clear to them that they love each other form the core of their heart. They kissed till the end of their breath.

When they backed from kiss Rudra hold Paro's chin and said "You know what? I always wanted to see you blush like that whenever I am near. And here you in my arms blushing like that." Paro smiled and hugged him in happiness.

Just them Rudra's cell phone started ringing "OMG I totally forgot Mr. Singh would be worried for you."

He attended the call and said "Yes sir Paro is safe. We are just coming back in a few mints. Yes sir you can talk to her."

He offered the phone to Paro "Yes Papa jani I am fine and it is only because of Rudra. Yes yes we are coming. Ap phone rakho gy to hm jaldi ain gy na. Ok bye." She gave the phone back to Rudra. "Let's go Papa jani is really worried about us." Paro started moving forward.

"Wait" Rudra said while holding her hand. He bring out her earring from his pocket and said "I think it belongs to you." Rudra said while offering her the earring.

She was already wearing the other one. She said "Agr dy rahy ho to phna bhi do."

He make her wear the earring "There you go." Rudra said and they hugged each other and started moving towards the hotel while holding each other's hand.

Back in the hotel everyone was happy now after Rudra's call and waiting for them.

Everyone jumped with happiness when Parud entered the main door of the hotel while holding each other's hand. Mr. Singh run towards Parud and hugged both of them "O thank God both of you are fine."

Rudra was shocked to see Mr. Singh's reaction Kya sach main sir ko myra Paro k sath aysy andr ana bura nahi laga?? Kya wo mjhy is new relation main qabool kr lain gy?? Rudra thought to himself.

Everybody was there in the lounge Roshani, Raghav, Sona, Laila, Mr. Joshi they were all smiling with satisfaction. Parud were shocked to see their reaction. Because they didn't expected everyone to welcome them like that when they would enter like a couple.

"Come come here byta." Mr. Singh dragged both of them in to the lounge. And everyone started clapping.

"Sir what is this??" Rudra asked in confusion. "I know everything son. When you were gone I talked to Roshani and she told me everything that there is nothing between you and her. Then Sona and Laila told me about your and Paro's feelings."

Rudra was shocked "Sir then ap ko koi aytraz to nahi hai??" he said in confusion.

"Of course not son. Myra sb sy acha byta myra jamai bany or kya chaiye. But tm ny mjh py trust nahi kiya that thing really hurt me. And Paro you too. Tm ny bhi apny Papa jani ko apny dil ki bt nahi btai. I love you dear more than anything of this world and your happiness is my priority." While saying this Mr. Singh's eyes filled with tears.

"Papa jani" Saying this Paro hugged her dad in happiness. Mr. Singh asked Rudra to join the hug too. And they hugged each other like a perfect family.

"Now..." Mr. Singh backed from the hug and said "no rona dhona everyone meet my daughter and soon to be son in law Major Rudra." Everybody started clapping for them.

Laila and Sona hugged Paro in joy and said "We are very very happy for you dear."

Sona whispered in Paro's ear "Yar bs ab tuny Rudra Jeju sy kahna hai myry liay bhi koi army wala hi dhund k dain." And they all started laughing.

"Ahm ahm" Raghav cleared his throat to gain Paro's attention. Sona and Laila left them alone to talk.

"I am really sorry Raghav but i..." Paro tried to explain but Raghav stopped her.

"Shhh its ok Paro I can understand. Yup its true k mjhy thora bura lag raha hai. But I am happy too k myri friend ko Rudra jysa acha life partner mila hai. I just wanted to tell you that I am very happy for you." Raghav said to Paro in a very calm voice.

"Thank you so much Raghav." Paro was very happy now when she saw Raghav satisfied with her decision.

On the other side everyone was congratulating Rudra too. "OMG Rudra I am very happy for you and you know what Paro is a very sweet girl. She is really perfect for you." Roshani said to Rudra in happiness.

"Thank you Ro and I am really sorry if I have ever hurt you." Rudra said while remembering the party earlier that day.

"Yup you are right. Mjhy tm py gusa hai mjy na btany k liay that you danced with me in the party just to make Paro feel jealous" Roshani said in a serious tone.

"Roshani I am really sorry for..." But before he could complete his sentence Roshani started laughing and said "Pagal mjhy bataty to mil k usy jealous feel karaty na zara main bhi enjoy krti." And they both started laughing. The hotel lounge which was filled with tension before half an hour was now filled with laughter and happiness.

6 months later...

Rudra opened his eyes slowly to wake up. And saw the sleeping beauty in front of him. She was looking like a doll no like a princess his princess. He removed a lock of hair from her face. She moaned while sleeping on his touch. He kissed her forehead and stand up to cover the window with the cartons. And went towards the bathroom to take bath.

Soon Paro wake up and found that Rudra was already gone to the bathroom. This all is still like a dream. She touched her mang fill with sindhur with her hand. Now I am Mrs. Rudra Partab Ranavt. All the memories of last night started coming into her head and she blushed like a red tomato. She covered her face with the thin white blanket to hide herself.

Rudra and Paro were now happily married. Rudra wanted Paro to complete her studies before they get married. And Mr. Singh arranged their marriage ceremony a week after her final exams. Yesterday she had become Mrs. Rudra for real. Rudra had arranged a surprise for Paro and after all the marriage rituals he took Paro to this beautiful hotel in Shimla.

Paro stood up while covering herself with the blanket. When she crossed the mirror she saw the locket having big red ruby pendant in it. She remembered how he asked her to remove all her jewelry and wear only this locket which once belonged to his mother. She smiled on the thought and removed the locket to place it on the dressing table. She came back from her dreams to reality when she hear her phone ringing. She picked up the phone and said "Hello Sona!!"

"Hello yar how are you?? Rudra Jeju to tmhy itni jaldi ly gaye koi khas plan tha tm dono ka." Sona said in excitement.

"Han g or hmy btaya bhi nahi hmmm..." Laila said in a teasing voice and both Sona and Laila started laughing.

"Shut up you two. Myry liay bhi ya surprise tha acha now stop teasing." Paro said while smiling.

"Oho acha acha chal tujy tang nahi krty bta rat kysi guzri hmmm?" Sona said. Both Laila and Sona were continuously laughing.

"Sonaaa bs na please..." Paro said but was interrupted by the knock the on the bathroom door.

"Paro mjhy tmhary uthny ki awaz I kya tm jag gai ho??" Rudra asked from the bathroom.

"G.." Paro replied. "Good will you please give me the towel I forget to take it with me." Rudra asked Paro to help him. "G i...Ok Sona Laila I have to go Rudra bula rahy han. Phr bt karin ge." Paro said to them on the phone.

Sona and Laila understand what Rudra was up to but they didn't told Paro instead they said "Ok g go enjoy we will talk to you later. Bye..." And they hang up the phone while laughing.

Paro didn't understand why they were laughing now but she ignored and rushed to help her husband. Paro grabbed the towel from the cupboard and offered him while saying "Rudra ya lain..." and that was his chance he dragged her in with him. Paro was shocked but happy at the same time.

He closed the door behind her and pushed her back on the door while holding her arms and whispered in her ears "My little innocent wife it was just a trap for you."

Paro smiled and said "I would happily accept any trap if it is placed by you my dear husband." Both smiled with happiness.

After an hour they got ready to visit the markets. Rudra stopped at the reception and ask the receptionist that they are going and won't come back for lunch.

"Paro you are here I don't believe it? Please just give me 5 mints I need to talk to you?" A man standing on the reception turned and stopped in front of Paro leaving her frozen in her place.

Rudra excused the man in front of Paro and said "Hello mister talk to me she is my wife." And moved her behind his back like a protector.

Paro was unable to utter any word and hide her face behind Rudra's shoulder. "O wao you got married ?" saying this the man tried to hide his confused expressions.

"Hello I already told you talk to me so don't disturb my wife. Now tell me who are you?" Rudra said in an angry tone.

"Ok sir I have recently came back from US and here I am looking for a construction site and my name is Shantanu Kumar." Shantanu said in a confidant tone just to hide his nervousness because he didn't know that Rudra already know each and everything about him and Paro.

Rudra felt like his full body was trembling with anger. He grabbed Shantanu's collar and dragged him out of the hotel and throw him on the road.

"PLEASE PLEASE STOP. PARO I WANT TO TALK TO YOU" Shantanu cried. Rudra grabbed his collar again and make him stand up.

He slapped Shantanu on his face and said "Ya un tears k liay jo tmhari waja sy myri Paro ki eyes main aye."

Then he again punched him and said "Ya us har bt k liay jis ny myri Paro ko dykh pohnchaya."

"PARO PLEASE I WANT TO TALK TO YOU PLEASE." Shantanu cried again.

"You stop calling MY WIFE like this." Rudra said and punched Shantanu again. Shantanu's lip started bleeding.

"Yes beat me main isi qabil hun. But please mjhy apni wife sy bt krny do mjhy us sy mafi mangni hai." Shantanu said in a very broken voice.

Rudra stopped right there when Shantanu said that he want to say sorry for what he has done with her. Rudra grabbed his left arm and make him stand in front of Paro who was crying hard.

"I am very sorry Paro for what I have done. Mjhy tmhary sath ki hui ziadti ka ahsas tb hua jb myry sath bhi kisi ny aysa kiya. It really hurt a lot Paro." He pointed his hand towards his heart and said. "I know yahn chubta hai lagta hai k ya phat jaye ga. It is only my good luck k mjhy tm yahn mil gai. Please please mjhy maf kr do wrna main apni sari zindagi kabhi sakun sy nahi rah sakun ga." He hold his hands in front of Paro and started crying hard.

Paro didn't utter a word and came near them. She slapped Shantanu with all her strength "Tm jysy insan ko pyar ka matlb bhi pta hai?? You don't even know a single thing about love. Agr koi kisi ko chata hai to us k liay apni jan bhi dyny ko tyar hota hai. For a lover his love is his life." Paro said. "I don't even want to look at your face mgr fir bhi agr tmy is bt sy koi sakun milta hai to dafa ho jao mny tmy maf kiya or kabi apni shakl mjy mat dikhana." Saying this she turned her face away from him.

"Thank you so much tmy nahi pta tm ny mjh py kitna ahsan kiya hai." Shantanu said.

"Suna na tm ny Paro ny kya kaha so just leave." Rudra said and hugged Paro.

Parud saw Shantanu going invisible in the crowd "Shhh Paro shant ab wo ja chukka hai bs chup." But Paro was still crying hard. Rudra backed from the hug and by holding her face in front of him he said "You so yourself said that for a lover love is his life so I don't want my life to suffer any more. Now stop crying because I promise that I would not let any harm to come to you. Even death have to take me first before it could reach to you..."

Paro placed her hand on his mouth and said "Please aysi bat ainda kabi mat krna"

Rudra said while kissing her forehead "Ok my dear" and hugged her saying "Always remember Tu main hmysha".

Rudra was happy because Paro was totally free from all the hurting memories of her past now they will live life happily without any fear of old memories following them.
