Ajab Leher Hai Meri Padosi

Prologue

"Get over it akka" Mihika said frustrated "this obsession is getting you nowhere" she hoped to put some sense into her sister's crazy head; who by the way was busy ogling at the picture in her hand.

"Akka are you even listening to me?" Mihika said snatching away the photo from her sister

"Give me the picture back Mihu" Ishita said trying toget the picture back

"No, I won't give it; instead, I'll go and tell amma-appa about it"

"you aren't a baby, stop complaining"

"I'm behaving like a baby?" Mihika said raising her brow "I'm not the one who goes gaga over a 30 something man who comes to my clinic with his daughter"

"you forgot to add the hot and cute quotient there" Ishita pointed out

"what?" Mihika asked confused

"gaga over a super hot man who comes to my clinic with his cute doll like daughter" Ishita finished

Mihika raised her hands in defeat "Whatever, I laughed at it until it was just a crush akka, but this stupid crush is slowly turning into an obsession which isn't good please understand" Mihika said, sounding like the elder sister herself

"This is not a stupid crush Mihika, I love him, love at first sight" Ishita said dreamily

"Really? Love at first sight? With a man who doesn't even know that you exist, a man you have only seen twice through the glass partition of your clinic. Where is my sensible sister who rejected Subbu because his family had demanded dowry?"

"I'm perfectly in my senses Mihu, and Raman Bhalla is nothing like that idiot subbu"

"yes he is nothing like any normal man you can dream of marrying. He is a scandalized man, a man the entire Delhi knows is the weirdest man on earth. He is a man haunted by his past and his present isn't beautiful either. He is a dark man akka and he can never bring sunshine to your life" Mihika pleaded

"I don't know what the world knows Mihika; I don't care what they think of him; but I know that the man who gets so tensed and hyper for a small toothache of his daughter can't be half as bad as the world says he is. I don't know about his past and present, but I'll make his future filled with sunshine"

"And what about his daughter? You are only twenty five, are you ready to take the responsibility of a child whom you haven't given birth to? Can you love her like a mother loves her daughter?Because clearly Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla comes with a baggage called Ruhi Bhalla"

"She's not a baggage Mihika, I already love that doll and I know that I have it in me to give that poor baby all the motherly love she craves for"

"Unbelievable" Mihika tried to control her anger "Fine, why am I worrying about something that's never going to happen. The moment you go to him with this stupid proposal of your's, he's going to reject you" Mihika smiled feeling proud of her self discovery

"hwww... why will he reject me?" an angry Ishita asked

"Because you aren't his type" Mihika replied as a matter of fact

"well that's not a problem; tastes change with time"

"What do you mean? What are you going to do?" Mihika asked with suspicion

Ishita smiled broadly "I, my dear sister, am going to woo The Raman Kumar Bhalla."
