Mumbai: The team of Diya Aur Baati Hum were in for a pleasant surprise when they received a call from superstar Rajinikanth's office. Turns out that Latha Rajinikanth, film producer and playback singer and the wife of Thalaivar is a fan of the show and really likes Kanika Maheshwari's character (Meenakshi).

Our source says, "She follows the show and she got her office to make a call to Pappuji, the make-up man for the show, to pass on her congratulations! Her office also informed the DABH team that Latha ma'am plans to visit Mumbai soon and would like to personally meet the cast and crew," a source informed us.
