Thakral out of place in Kyunki

Characters like Thakral are good in movies and not in a daily saas bahu drama. It just does not fit. Too jarring. To give RK credit he acted well, but I really don't see his character fitting the stories in Kyunki. I think Thakral will mess it up royally. It's too western a character. Can you imagine Daksa Chachi offering Dholka to him? Ekta keeps on saying she know her audience, but I am sad to say she does not. My massi who is a housewife and watches the show as a religion, was appalled and just could not understand the character. She hopes he leaves soon. She wants to see Tulsi fight the bahus. She wants to see the K-T-E triangle. She wants Karan to become Karan again.

Sorry RK, good job, but the character just does not fit 😭

I kinda like his character... He's a freak, and I like freaky kooky, seemingly mental people! 😳 Coz you know what they say "Every genius has a sort of madness to him..." I think JRT is just another example of that! 😛

As much as we all want to see the love triagle, I dont know if the creative heads have any scope right now in their minds about that. About Karan's character yes it has gone to a total obleteration but hopefully Lakshya will turn it around so we can see our old Karan back again. Hatred towards Hiten is growing because of this stupid character and I can not take it.

Every show needs an out of place character who does not fit into the scheme of things to break the monotony of the saas bahu angles. Also it would be refreshing to see the interaction of such 'out of place' character with the 'in place' characters.

I am happy that a wonderful actor like RK is getting the opportunity to show his acting skills and abilities to a wider audience base. In all fairness to his character I think it should be given time to settle and then to smooth itself into the general scheme of things.

Yes I agree Daksha Chachi is the best person for Thakral. I cant wait for her comments on his weird ways and his billis. Daksha chachi will go meowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. 😆

I have seen you on KS forum and I really like your posts there. But yaar KS fans ki khaatir, isko wapis laa KS mein naa. That shiny green, those studs, that pearl string, that horrible stubble (ab to things have gone way beyond that stubble stage), it is killing me, blinding me.

I want the suited booted Jai Walia back in KS instead of this person with such ridiculous get up and such eccentric fetish for billis. Mere maula, mere Parvardigaar, yeh kya ho raha hai!!! Unbelievable. I have kept quiet until now for the sake of artistic explorations and all but this is too much to take.

How will our story proceed? Udhar AD Seeta haran kar lega to? 😉 Agreed he's my sexy hunk 😳 but Seeta belongs to her Ram na.

Love your posts too and you have amazing writing skills.

I understand where you are coming from about the garishness of the character - his dressing, grooming and accessories. For me it is a coin toss between the looks and the acting. His acting is brilliant and RK was having a ball portraying the eccentrci Thakral. His face showed that he was enjoying himself whereas in KS nowaday it looks like he is not enjoying playing JW and that is what matters. Recently is has become painful for me to watch him as JW.

Ab tumhara Ravan Sitaharan karega ki nahin I don't know and even if he does not Ravan's sister is all ready to go and deliver Sita to Deb's Lanka.😆

That is why I feel that a rocking Thakral is better than a crying JW. Hope I made sense.
