sweet things, july week 1

considering that i thought the scriptwriters are making a caricature out of the whole show, and out of all of it's characters, by going slapstick, lots of the funny things i didn't think sweet. here's my list:

* karan-chachu was sweet this week. he was genuinely distressed at the bad things happening to his parents and to baa. he was genuinely disgusted as tanya's new avaricious attitudes. he was genuinely patient and understanding with loose-canon gymball manthan. karan-chachu was sweet.

* prajakta's innocent disbelief that daksha-chachi was turning a blind eye to bhoomi-abhir affair was sweet. seriously. the actress did a lovely job portraying that innocence.

* i must admit i did love lakshya's in-between-lines chuckles when he was indirectly taunting his father and his uncle about neglecting to respect and revere their elders, and the old way of life. it's almost as if the actor couldn't help himself: those deliveries were very sweet, and very infectious. 😆

did i miss anything major? 😆

^ Salil just scares me. Lord, the sheer number of teeth in that gorb of his is just astounding. 😕

Lakshya's grins and smirks - verrrry sweet. 😳 😳 😳

MANTHAN IN A SUIT!!!!!!!!!!! - *faints from sugar overdose* 😆

That's about it...

Oh, I also thought JRT was kinda sweet in a very weird way... Don't ask me why, but he seems koooky, but in a good way.... I like kooky, so I think he was pretty cool.... Although, THE VELVET HAS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!! 🤢 🤢 🤢

hey, if you're talking eye-candy, then there was smashing sight of the two (currently) bad boy babes - lakshya, manthan - flanking mr. greased light'nin' eklavya "just-call-me-evil" virani.

that was one cool sight if i could just chop off eklavya's hair, clear off his expression, make sure his hands are clean and not stuck in some bodily part.... 😆

but usually my "sweet" is something down in the heart. eye-candy is .. well .. up-front and in your face, no? 😆

Oooh. I also thought the Mihir-Tulsi chemistry was very sweet... Ronit and Gautami seem to have wonderful chemistry! They really seemed like an in love for years and years couple, with the gentle chiding and apologizing from Mihir.... I thought that was totallly aaaaaaaaaaaw! 😳

Beginning to like Mihir more these days... 😳

one sweet thing was also lakshya running up the stairs to touch MT's feet before going to office..... 😳

and during dahi khilo session, when L remarked "manthan ko khilo, isko zyda zaroorat hai".... very well acted scene 👏

grant you this one - the mihir-tulsi interaction is sweet these days.

but liking mihir-daadu? this is something i have a constant problem with. first of, he was brutal to tulsi-d to her face. second, his acceptance of baa's words that this is tulsi-d was just too plain... i think i used the word "needy". don't like mihir-d yet. not even half as much as i'm beginning to think karan-chachu's not such a bad guy. 😕

another good one! although i'm perpetually itching to get lakshya by the ear and shake him and ask him why he's still married to someone other than kt, and why he's not doing anything about it, that scene was unexpectedly sweet. the way he turned, smiled, raced up the stairs, bent his head down to his elders - major heart strings tugs!

hmm, looks like i need to pay much more attention if i'm going to stick with weekly sweet things. 😆

Hmm... why are both of them married to two different ppl??Anyways.. thats the other story that Kyunki will feature in some episodes of L-KT trying to get back together.. BTW I thought it was sweet when Laksh just ignored Eku's snide remarks about spending less time with his wife KT now that L is working.. I thought the old uber cool dude Laksh was back.. just brushing off the dust of his suit.. he could hardly care what "*greased lighting" hairband loving evil himself had to say.. almost as if saying.. Hutta sawan ki ghata chipkoo, teri biwi ko to main hi bhaga le jaunga 😆😆

(* estee - thanxs for that lovely name.. i love it..) I just hate that chipkoo gelled and hair band look of Eku.. but I guess patting his hair so many times in the past has yielded this look.. any case it needs to GO now!

overall... kyunki waz on fire this...loved it soo much....! 😛 😛 😛 it waz more like a comedy show !!yeahh!!
oh ya another good thing...
tulsi-baa-mihir-lakshya-kt team to take revenge from the evil macbeth's witches (as nimmi states it 😃 )
smoke cuming out of tripti's mouth after the shock treatment... 🤣 🤣
n best of all ...tanya's dance 😉 😉 😉
