Yes, I loved that phase too.

Then came craziness in the form of kusum, kumud behaving ambivalent on pramad etc.

This was bound to happen. But the route they took strengthened the character of Saras, in the process of figuratively killing Kumud

Then came another change when they went to dadaji's village. That brought a naughty saras.

Any 'positive' change is OK, as long as one doesn't act in a dumb and self-destructive way, like Kumud =)

The wedding prep track was well done. But after wedding came the decisive blow.

Yes, it was. But I think writing good wedding track ain't a rocket science, is it? In fact the stupidity started on the day of the wedding with SD accompanying LN with the divorce papers.

I think saras's character was kept intact all through. But of late, like in the last few weeks it has been lackluster, listless for the first time in the show. Just my pov.

I have missed many episodes, Shanti ji but from what random episodes I've watched in the interim, I feel the character became less prominent as compared to what he used to be.

I can't believe they retained the same writers for a period of 8 months. That colors me surprised especially when they never got the numbers they went after.
