Santhi, I expected, sorry not expected, this track is what I expected. But I had hoped that Saras would take his mom to all their old places, his childhood home, etc. and finally culminating in the pond.
It would have been a torturous journey for Saras to take his mother to all the places he has been avoiding, and to see that all that meant so much to him, and all that he has treasured - happy memories of his mother, mean nothing to her. But slowly as piece by piece, memory by memory her memory returned, he too would get the closure, he so much needs an deserves.
I wanted the return to the fateful pool to be very very momentous, and poignant, as Saraswati finally realises who Saras is, and also sees the horror her child went through, because of her choice to kill herself
They could've shown her remorse, their reunion, and joy, and if anyone can pull off such complex scenes and emotions, it's Gautam,
I also didn't want this hate Kumud thing, instead if Kumud could have become his anchor in this whole emotional upheaval, been with him and helped him and Saraswati through this process, it would have been so wonderful.
The worst thing is that they have actors like Gautam and Jen, who can pull it off, and the two of them together actually have emotionally intense scenes as their forte.
Why would they chose to go with this nonsense shadi thing shows their limitations as writers.
But I am not disappointed with our CVs, after London honeymoon and Mumbai track, this is of the same level,
Anything better than this would've probably sent us into a shock like SM.
Random thoughts.
Today Saraswati's baby-talk n duck-walk was glaring.
Badi Kaki was given a task finally.
And why was she so interested in the natak(she was so engrossedđ)
Danny n Kusum did a great job with the neat presentation.
Today was Kabir n Ashish's best day at work with that narration. Kabir said more words today than he did in all episodes put together. But he did well.
Danny getting that phone n texting Guman was very realistic and only sane moment.
Lori was sweet and Kusum I mean shiny sang very well. Akhir lori kaam aa gayi. It was Saraswati's connection with her past. A lingering thought she held on to.
Saras looked so handsome. More handsome than in his wedding or engagement. That off-white suits him so well. Extra pounds helped. Itna handsome and he was crying. Poor thing.
The natak was made poignant with Saras's expressions who was constantly looking at his mom hoping she wld make some connect.
Danny n Kusum paused and looked sadly at Saras. That was touching.
Everyone connected with Saras who was emotional at his own story. Well written.
Everyone looked tense and ARti thought they were happy. Problem hai ladki mein.
Aisi shadi mein bhi mehmanon ko bulate hain? Lost for words.
Yeh log apne aap treatment kar sakte tho docs ki kya zaroorat hai.
Saras said, issi liye log kehte hain ki saras aur kumud ek doosre ke liye bane hain. Sachhi? Pata nahin!!
Anyways the bottomline is that danny, kusum n kabir did what they could for their bhaiyya n bhabhi.
PS: Guman ke baare mein likhna mere bas ki baat nahin hai. Arshi hi likh sakti hai.
