I feel the character of Saras (at least) was kept very much intact before Ved Raj and co took over in January. The 'verisimilitude' factor in the narrative beat a hasty retreat once he took over. At least that's what I feel.

There has been a shift after kumud came to RN after rescue. It was initially a change for the good. They explored saras n kymud's dilemma well. That was the most beautiful phase of saras n kumud for me(each running away from the other but caring at the same time)

Then came craziness in the form of kusum, kumud behaving ambivalent on pramad etc.

Then came another change when they went to dadaji's village. That brought a naughty saras.

Kartar Singh lasted 2 epis n was still bearable for me.

The wedding prep track was well done. But after wedding came the decisive blow.

I think saras's character was kept intact all through. But of late, like in the last few weeks it has been lackluster, listless for the first time in the show. Just my pov.
