CHAPTER 37

RECAP: REY MANAOFYING TAANI, TAAREY EMOTIONAL SCENE

It was a bright sunny morning and taani was busy with the doctor whereas swayam, Sharon, aayush and mehek were in rey's ward. Taani went to collect his discharge papers and rey was having his breakfast in his ward.

Sw: rey, you sure you want to go home? I mean you can get discharged after a week after your complete recovery!

R: no dude! I can't stay here in this hospital premises! Everything is white, white and white. And I am feeling home sick!

Sh: but rey, you like white na!

R: yes but someone brought so many colors in my life that I feel white is boring now.

Sharon and swayam smiled, the kids were busy in playing talking tom on Sharon's phone.

Meanwhile taani entered with his discharge papers.

T: Rey, you are getting discharged this evening and you did not finish eating yet?

Swayam and Sharon exchanged glances and

Sh: come Sharon, I guess we are disturbing someone. Taani indirectly hame daant rhiki hum rey ko khaane nahi de rahe.

T: nahi bhai! Maine aisa nahi kaha!

Swayam, Sharon and rey broke into laughter and taani gave a cute pout.

Rey finished eating and taani gave him some medicines, after a while of talking to swayam and Sharon. Rey started to glance at the clock repeatedly every 30 seconds.

Sw: rey, kya hua?

R: yaar, I wanna go home. And yeh ghadi dekho! Atak si gayi ho!

Sh: arey chill yaar, aise time pe wait karna padta hai.

Aayush and mehek were in their world when

A: mumma hum ghar kab jaa rahe? Mujhe aap donon ke saath sona hai!

T: awww, my baby! Come here!

Aayush goes and sits on taani's lap and taani kisses his cheeks. Mehek comes and stands beside Sharon and Sharon takes her in her lap and kisses her.

T: I seriously miss them yaar! Koi nahi ab se hum saath saath hai!

Everyone smiled and soon Sharon was dizzy, her stomach churned and putting mehek down she ran into the wash throwing up the breakfast which she had. Swayam rushed and caught her hair and rubbed her back.

Sw: are you okay Sharon?

Sh: yeah!

T: Sharon kya hua? Achanak aisa kyu hua? Kuch ulta khaa liya kya?

Sh: actually guys, I thought to tell everyone at once so here I say. Well, I am pregnant!

Sw,T,R: what?

Sh: yes guys, I just checked it yesterday and I think I am. I also had the thought to consult the gyno in this hospital.

Before Sharon finished swayam took her in a hug at which rey smiled and taani awed at.

M: meko hug?

Those three had a group hug and

A: mumma, chachu chachi ko hug kyu kar rahe hai?

T: kyuki aapko aur mehek ko ek baby aane waale hai!

A: sach!

T: haa beta.

A: toh baby kaha se aayega?

T: chachi ke pet se aayega!

A: chachi ke pet me baby hai?

T: haa beta,

A: chachi ke pet me baby kaisi hai?

T: ummm, wo kya hai na beta. Kal raat chachi ke kamre me ek angel aayi thi aur chachi ke pet pe ek magic wand ghumayi.

A: ohhh! Toh baby kab aayega?

T: bohot time lagega, after few months.

A: mumma, firr hamaare ghar me angel kab aayegi?

Sannaata chaa gaya, taani looked at rey, swayam and Sharon exchanged glances and poor mehek was not understanding anything.

Swayam broke the silence

Sw: arey! Beta, aap bass kuch din ruko, aapke ghar me angels hi angels aayengey, kit um count kar karke thak jaogey!

Taani blushed deep red and rey smiled at her blush, ab hum log jaakey chocolate khaatey hai and papa ko sone do!

Rey soon fell asleep due to the sedation of medicines and taani and Sharon went and sat by the window pane.

Sharon started her gossip and after a while she found that taani was not listening and she was lost in some deep thought.

Sh: kya soch rahi ho?

T: kuch nahi bhabhi!

Sh: aayush ne jo bola wahi?

T: bhabhi, aisa nahi hai ki hum wait kar rahe hai. I am waiting for that day, rey ne mujhse bohot baar kaha ki unh eek nanhi si pari chahiye and I do not understand why this delay is.

Sh: relax, time solves everything. And I don't think tumhe conceive karne me time lagega. It's just couple of months you both got married and just a little more wait, I think everything will fall in place.

Taani's face was still dull and Sharon gave a wicked grin

Sh: waise ek baat bolu?

T: hmmm

Sh: I don't think rey leaves you unless he loves you every night!

Taani's eyes widen and her mouth forms in an O.

Sh: am I right?

T: bhabhi, pls, wo , main.,,

Taani was stammering blushing furiously.

Sh: tumhara shakal bata raha hai, and I think he is pretty good in bed?

T: bhabhi please, and she covers her face with her palms.

Sh: waise ab thoda slow ho jao bolo, warna agar twins, triplets ya quadruplets ho jaayengey toh museebat aa jaayega.

T: bhabhi please bass karo na. ummm, waise mujhe ek doubt hai and she whispered something in Sharon's ear.

Sh: then do one thing, do a self pregnancy test. Sure ho jaogey!

T: but then, I am nervous!

Sh: it's okay, ghar jaane ke baad kal subah karke dekho! Agar positive hai toh double dhamaka, we both can celebrate.

And its lunch time, everyone have their lunch and aayush had some or the other doubt about the baby all the time which made every one laugh at his cute questions, he is too excited about the baby.

In the evening rey got discharged and everyone went to taarey's home. Everything was like they left before, some things were little messy as it reminds of the shock they got when they heard about rey's accident.

Taani had a hint of tear in her eye and rey was walking with the help of taani, he noticed it and he thought to leave about it for the time being.

Everyone was in their bedroom and rey was made to sleep carefully, taani went to the kitchen and started her work. Meanwhile Sharon came to taani and asked whether they have to stay in their home as rey got discharged and taani may need some help. Taani politely thanked them and swaron left that night along with mehek.

Taani entered their room and found rey stroking aayush hair when he fell asleep. Taani brought a glass of milk for rey which she handed it to him.

Rey took it

T: yeh yahi so gaya, maine socha main sula dungi.

R: thak gaya hoga , hospital me tha na!

T: hmmm

Rey drank the milk and taani was about to leave and rey caught her wrist. She sat beside him and rey leaned towards the headboard. Taani leant her head on his chest carefully that doesn't touch any of his wounds.

Rey pressed his cheek on her head and dimmed the bed light. He turned his head and pressed a tight kiss on her forehead, her eye and in the socket of her nose. Taani just tightened the grip on his T.

She turned away blushing and rey held her by her waist,

T: rey aapko medicines lena hai.

R: tum yeh kyu nahi samajhti kit um meri medicine ho

T: rey, apne romance ko thora break do, until you get better.

Rey's face fell. She gave him the medicines and rey was adjusting the pillows to sleep, taani slept beside him and she gave a cute peck on his lips. She locked one of her arm around his body and slept. Rey slept with one hand around aayush and as one hand was plastered, he couldn't hug her.

R: taani

T: hmmm

R: waise I don't mind having another baby.

T: I also don't mind, don't worry. I may give you the good news soon.

R: I love you.

T: love you too!

She tightened the grip on him and she gathered in aayush also into her embrace and they all dozed of peacefully, waiting for the good news.
