Anyway, let me chalk out the situation:
Myrah is a relatable character. That is, she is someone who istransparent, easily readable and someone who always shows what she feels. She is impulsive, self confident and has a great degree of self worth. She has been brought up in a life of privilege and has always had the family power to see that most things in life are easy for her. And she is not afraid to use that to get what she wants. Her life , literally, has been a bed of roses. (Her past and depth which people keep hoping to see hasn't been shown as yet, so I shall assume this)
She is getting into a marriage with someone who she is good friends with. And there is nothing wrong with that. Compatibility is an important basis for marriage. However, what Myrah has been focusing on is a "Wedding". And Rudra's words to her, while uncalled for, are the only way for her to realise what she actually wants.
Rudra, has been called rude and has been called out for his harshness to Myrah, however, I feel they were perfectly justified.
Rudra may have had a marriage based on hate, but apart from that day, he has been unable to be anything but caring for Paro. Think back to those times, he cleaned her wound the very next day. He took her with him to Jaipur. And then, he was anything but not caring to her.
He understood the true meaning of marriage , where he cared for Paro, and was protective and loving of her. He made the vows he knew he could never keep. And even Paro knew he didn't keep them. His eyes said one thing and his actions another. She saw the pain when he pushed her away, and loved him all the more.
Sometimes, it is the stark reality of a stranger's words which help in giving us a better perspective of life. Myrah really calls for what Rudra dishes out to her, at times. She refuses to go away when he tells her to, refusing to answer her questions. She questions his way of handling the children in his household. Myrah has been in residence for a week, and wants to do things her own way? She plays a prank on the owner of the house, because he laughed at her?
Paro, was staying on the pretense of being Rudra's fiance. She kept to herself and it was only after she could see Maithali being brow beaten did she stand up to Mohini. So, there is a difference.
Now, let me come to Myrah and Rudra and what will happen if they do fall in love.
Rudra:
Rudra is still a storm of emotions that will destroy Myrah as she has no common ground with him.
She does not know the pain of loss. The depth of passion. Theboundaries of guilt. The tomb of self loathing he has. It will overwhelm Myrah.
She has no idea about the love Rudra has seen in his life. Paro loved Rudra more than she loved herself, Rudra did the same for her.He will never complete Myrah the way he did Paro. Because he hasnothing else to give. His love, his hope died with Paro. And what else is left he has reserved it for his son. In who he sees the essence of Paro.
MyRud may be opposities but arent equals unlike PaRud.
Rudra can never be happy seeing Myrah's face. Everytime he'd try to admire, kiss, caress her, he will remember Paro. It will hurt her ultimately that she is the second woman for him
Rudra needs to heal, and with Myrah there he won't. As he says, he doesn't hate her, but her actions.
That is because her actions remind him that IT IS NOT PARO. And that no matter , how much he wants that Paro is back, that his prayers are answered, she is not. Even if Myrah tries to become more dulled down, she will be found wanting. As she is NOT Paro.
And that is the root of the problem.
Myrah, is my age or older. While older men are amazing, someone like Rudra would be tough for her to handle. Even forgetting his past, the very fact she looks like his dead wife, will always make her doubt who he truly married. A modern NRI girl will also be so out of place in the structured/ traditional Ranawat family. Her style of living is so different from the Ranawats. She buys lehengas worth a lakh without blinking an eye. This could be the monthly amount the Ranawats live on. Love can conquer all, but in this case, love may be out of a compromise.
Another point is her relationship with Dhruv. She is a friend now, but she would be (step)mother to a child who wants his mum back. All the plotting is to see if his mum is back, and if his father is happy. Is Myrah ready to be a mother? When she has so much of growing up to do ?
Have the CVS even thought this relationship through?
And these are the barriers I see only in the upcoming week. Myrah was created out of circumstances and is utterly wrong for Rudra.
MyRud is like Chalk and Cheese.
PaRud were like Wine And Cheese.
