Chapter 7
Astha's heart gripped with fear, what if she didn't get out of this problem. This is ridiculous, why does she always end up in worse trouble every time she wears her cursed disguise? When had this adventure turned worse for her?
She paced the floor back and forth, hoping that the captain would hurry and she will explain herself. She hopes that the captain would understand her and let her go. What will happen if the ship sailed before she had the chance to get out of the ship? Where is this ship heading anyway? Would Virat know she's here? He would be worried sick for her, even Sid will get worry. What if the captain is not a nice man, she had heard about ruthless captain, who don't have any mercy before giving any punishments, but the guy said the captain is not hard to please, but she don't even know what the cabin boy do.
The minutes passed and dragged into hours, each passing moment was increasing her fury since patience is not one of her virtue. She tried again the door and found it locked, she banged the door and shouted, hoping someone would be kind enough to open the door but no one came for her.

"I don't think you've heard the ruckus in your cabin or you wouldn't be relaxing here, the whole crew is annoyed at the lad making all the noise, and the crew said you asked them not to open the door, Mind I ask why you did it?" Anshul said as he took a seat across Shlok.
Anshul has been Shlok's first mate since he started sailing, over the years he turned his closest friend.
Shlok smiled as he replied "I heard and I'm well pleased that she's shouting instead of crying. A temperamental is better than a weeper!"
Anshul frowned and asked "I don't understand"
He laughed suddenly and replied "But I do. God, Anshul this is incredible, I have looked for that little girl everywhere, you know, was so frustrated that I couldn't find her, now she's here fallen right into my lap. But we shouldn't reveal her disguise, well not yet, I've mind to play with her"
Anshul grunted "no wonder you're damn well pleased and relaxing since you came back in the ship after you went out looking for another cabin boy. But you could be wrong, she may not be a woman, because the one time I saw him, I was sure he was he not she."
"I doubt it. I'll find that out once she starts her duties."
"You think he ---no, she'll agree?"
His grin was devilish as he replied "she'll have to, she have no choice but to abide by my rules!"
Thousand of questions cropped up in his mind as he slumped back comfortable on his padded chair when Anshul left him. Why is she wearing that disguise again? Or it is not a disguise, it could be the normal way she wears her clothes. The last time he'd seen her she was wearing the same clothes, even now she had been wearing the same, does this mean she have only one set of clothes? What if she isn't going the same route or is she sailing or just seeing off someone she knows?
The one thought made him sat upright suddenly from his comfortable position, what if she's urgently needed somewhere? What if it's a matter of life and death that she reaches in her destination urgently?
He shot onto his feet, angry at himself, why did you not consider that before, fool! We're so far from the port now!
He walked towards his cabin.

Astha was tired, her feet and hands throbbed in pain with all the kicking and banging on the cursed door of the cabin. She sighed as all her doings went in vain, no one was going to open the door for her, she just have to wait, she turned to leave but the door opened at that precise moment. Without delaying, she ran with all her might, past the person who opened the door, mumbling her gratitude.
Astha simply stared at the chance of escaping receding rapidly from the distance, where she can see the great bulk of port decreasing and decreasing. She couldn't believe it, all she can see in her surrounding was water. Anger swiftly entered in her mind, solely directed to those two men who brought her in the ship. If they hadn't brought here she would have been sailing with Virat going to her father's land. She looked around to find those two rogues and give her piece of mind for bringing her here. She gasped as her eyes fell on the one whom she never wanted to meet, the one who haunted her.
She closed her eyes, wishing she is just imagining him, that can't be possible! No one gets that unlucky! bloody giant!. She opened them again, only to find him staring at her, as if analyzing her. She did her own staring; he looked more handsome in broad daylight than the poorly lit tavern as she had seen him last time. He wore a tight breeches snuggling his long well shaped legs, his light blue shirt hugging his broad chest and tight muscles, sleeves rolled up till his elbows, two buttons opened, giving slight view of his chest covered with small black curls, tucked in his breeches. He is a magnificent view, the one whom you'll never get tired to look at.
"Captain! I swore I asked him to keep his bloody mouth shut" one of her abductor spoke furiously.
She recovered from her surprise, and then scowled at the one who spoke.
"And you think I agree to you?" She snapped. The man took offense and started toward her, only to be stopped by a voice.
"Cease! There will be no beating of children in my ship." Shlok said.
Astha groaned inwardly, he's the captain! He's the one I was suppose to serve! She remembered his threat before she kicked him, he wanted retribution for her attack, now he will have his chance, and her fault doesn't end at the attack, she even kicked him, giving him more chances, thus, more punishments. How much worse can this adventure go?
"You young man, I believe you have better sense to look at the person before you get into a fight with him. I admire bravery but not foolishness, get yourself back into the cabin, for I have to discuss some matters"
Astha frowned, doesn't he remember her at all, he should have been saying 'you!' 'We meet again' 'i will have my revenge now', perhaps he didn't had a good look at her or it slipped from his mind.
"There will be no discussion, Sir, I mean Captain, since---"
Her sentence got cut off at his harsh tone "Guess you haven't heard, discussion will happen in my cabin, now get yourself into my cabin before I get my hands on you"
She didn't wait around to test his threat, she bolted right into his cabin. She gritted her teeth in anger as she entered his cabin, how dare he? How dare he give orders to her like that?
She swung around as she heard him entering the cabin, coming directly towards her, towering her with his great size.
"Haven't you learned from our encounter, little twit? If I hadn't been there, you had been beaten black and blue, did you consider that?" Shlok asked angrily.
Her eyes widen with shock as she realized his sentence, she accused "you remembered? You didn't forget about me!"
Damn! He wasn't suppose to reveal that he remembered her, he was so angry at her for being foolish, what a nerve she have to offend a man triple her size, if he hadn't barged in, her body would have been floating in the sea.
"You think I will forget you, little one?" He replied amusedly. She fumed, did she think he will forget her, he will get his damn retribution, he will make her life miserable! She will never let it happen!
"Take me back to the port, I won't be serving anyone, least of all you!"
"Where you heading off to?"
"England, but that's beside the point---"
"We're going the same route, might you reconsider you're---"
"I won't! You'll be taking back this ship back to the port!"
He raised his black brow as he questioned "Did it slip into your mind that I'm the captain and I'm the authority here, there won't be turning back, either you sail with us as a cabin boy or I will toss you out of this ship so you can swim back to reach the port, if you'll be alive. Make up your mind, young man"
"I won't serve you but I'm willing to sail to the next port" she replied stubbornly.
"And where do you think I'll get another cabin boy? From air or sea? You have to earn your keep here, I don't get why you don't want to be a cabin boy if you are willing to sail with me? Are you afraid of me?" he asked.
She snorted when she replied " you maybe a bloody giant in front of me but I'm not afraid of you."
"You ought to be." He replied in a menacing tone.
She shuddered and took a step backward, did she push him too far? Did she bruise his pride?
Shlok smiled inwardly, so she ain't afraid of him, ha? Did she think she's talking to a weakling, something should be done to her courage, she can't just fight with any man. It is her foolishness not bravery to get into any fight despite the size and strength.
"I don't repeat but will take exception to you, don't take men especially large in size lightly, you may not know the strength they possess but they won't think twice to snap you into pieces, keep in mind, young lad, bravery is one thing but foolishness is another thing, you may get killed with that. So before you get into a fight make sure you'll win and don't get injured."
She stared at him in disbelief, is he giving her concerned advice, how...how generous of him!
"you're willing to be my cabin boy or I toss you out of the ship?" he asked again.
She pursed her lips, she reconsiders her opinion, he isn't a generous at all!
"I guess I don't have any choice, I will be your cabin boy--- unwilling one!"
He chuckled and patted her back, she stumble forward as he replied "You will be willing soon!"
