Finally a good news for BH Tracks 😛

Remember Gauri " Jagdish's (Shashank Vyas) second wife " in Balika Vadhu? The track has been inactive since Anjum Farooki, who played the role, quit the show three months before tying the knot in January 2013.

Now, we hear, Gauri will be reintroduced in the show. However, it's Deblina Chatterjee, who has been finalised to play the part.

Says a source, "We had approached Anjum for the role, but she declined. She doesn't want to return to acting. After auditioning a few actors, we finalised Deblina." Despite repeated attempts, we couldn't reach Deblina for comment.

i dont get it whats good news in this 😆because instead of Sanchi's crap last year it should have been Gauri and her chapter closed Now remembering her because its been long since cvs had any triangle One more heading of it is true Now Ganga Jagya Gauri Though she cannot do any mess but her shouting we have to bear 😆kyun kyun Jagat 😆

I dont have anything against that Gauri is back but want Anjum, and change Gauri not bad.

Really? Why do they need to re introduce Gauri if they can't bring Anjum.

If it was Anjum it would have been fun to watch G1, but once again trying to adjust to a new face??

CVs don't you think we have had enough with respect to replacements.

When we badly wanted to see how G's story ended you left the audience hanging and now when we have moved on, the character is re- introduced on a new face? What for?

If the above news is any true then its s bad move from Cvs.

Thanks for sharing.

Don't know what impact the character will have now.

Anjum made it very clear that she didn't want to return to acting after marriage and the replacement should have happened way back then because at that time the absence of her character in the story was felt.

Now I don't know how it will be.

They should have called back Anjum for just giving a logical ending through a short track.

If they are casting a new face as Gauri means they obviously have a long track in mind for her.

Some time back in an interview Purnenedu Shekhar did say he has story for Gauri and was waiting for Anjum's return.

Well if Purnenedu Shekhar said that he has a story planned for Gauri then hopefully it will be a decent story.

The gap has been way too long to suddenly accept the character with replacement.

G's absence was felt for a long time because the story ended abruptly. Then one fine day J moved on and married ganga and is now settled.

In this way audience also moved on. I also felt Ja ga should have been closed well. But now even if G1 comes back how are we going to connect it to Ja Ga with this new face after such a long break? And what's the point of reintroducing the character on a new face, when there was a huge disonnectivity.

Let's see what unfolds because I am disappointed with the news.

@bold - Exactly that.They should have replaced her way back then when the story had it's momentum.Now reintroduction of the character that too with a new face doesn't make sense unless they have an extraordinary story planned for her.

Just saw the pic of the actress she is pretty like Gauri should be.Never seen her before though.She seems to have done some award winning projects though.

May be we should wait and see what happens.

Would have loved to see Anjum back on the show though.She was my personal favourite after Surekhaji.

Agree with Esha and Aparna about replacement. For story - lets wait and watch. The momentum of Gauri story is lost - how they will build it is to be seen. No hope of logical track seeing the current tracks, still once in a while, they do show good tracks. Anyway - if they can show Gauri instead of Sanchi - it will be a welcome relief.
