The boys wonder...

Since Gerry and Seny entered the House on Friday night, they've been forming some tentative but definite bonds with fellow male Ziggy. This morning the trio discussed the possibility of more men joining their merry band, and it filled Gerry with dread.

"From now on, these are the women," said Gerry pointing to the housemates' pictures and empty spaces on the wall near the dining table, "and here is going to be all men. But I cannot stand nine more men into the House."

"It will be though," speculated Ziggy.

"No, we like you," said Gerry, giving Ziggy a man-hug. "Maybe two, three maximum, but I can't bond with nine more."

"But this is what's happening. They bring in the women, then one guy, then two more, so that's the three most important guys," smiled Ziggy, "Then, another and another and... they could bring in five guys in one night."

"I hate the possibility, I'm terrified," shivered Gerry.

"I wouldn't mind it," said Seny.

"Bonding with nine males in this environment. With all their fears and complexes. Can you imagine? What a nightmare."

How do you tell Amanda and Sam apart?...

Having trouble telling the twins apart? So is Gerry. And as the pair and Chanelle washed their smalls in the bathtub, Gerry came over to investigate the identical twosome.

"My biggest nightmare is that they will grow up and grow out of their cheerfulness," he predicted.

"Never," said Sam. "It's against the rules."

"It's inevitable you will turn into vamps. Man-eaters."

But the twins looked stumped. "Man-eaters?" said Sam, confused.

"The woman who plays with men," explained Gerry.

"Toys with men's emotions," added Chanelle.

"Never," they chorused.

But Gerry was confident: "In five or ten years. It's inevitable."

"Really?" said Amanda incredulously.

"You don't realise you have sex appeal?" said Gerry.

"Have what?" said Sam, none the wiser, as Amanda smiled and plaited her hair.

"You are sexy. You affect the men in this house," continued Gerry. "You're innocent completely - but sort of." Well at least he knows what he means.

As the chat continued, Gerry wondered if they'd ever confused anyone. And how could they be told apart.

"I can tell from the hair colour," nodded Gerry. "Any other difference?"

"My face is wider," confirmed Sam.

"And Sam's eyes are different than mine," said Amanda.

"What's the difference?" asked Gerry, peering blankly at them both.

"Are you one housemate or two?" asked Gerry, double-troubled.

"We don't know. We want to be one," said Sam. Or was it Amanda?

Gerry, can you tell?

Amanda suffers a freak dancing injury...

Finding it hard to differentiate between the twins in the House? That time may be at an end for a while due to a freak dancing accident that has left Amanda wearing a big bandage on her upper right thigh.

Along with her sister Sam, Amanda was regaling several housemates in the garden with a series of dance moves before making an ill-fated decision to adopt the role of ballerina. As she was hoisted up in the air by her twin, Amanda suddenly let out a yelp and started hopping around when she returned to the ground.

"I just cut my leg on her belt," she announced as she sat down to inspect the damage. The injured party was putting a brave face on, but her sterling attempts to stay calm were not helped by the panicking housemates who quickly flocked around her.

"Oh no!" gasped Charlie when she saw the cut, asking: "How's that not stinging you?" Sam then chipped in, proclaiming "that's massive!", whilst Ziggy rushed around in a frenzy trying to work out the best course of remedial action.

It was left to Laura's to play the doctor, as she disinfected, dressed and bandaged the wound. Her diagnosis on poor Amanda was pretty blunt: "[You're] the most accident prone person I've ever met."

The twins may share the same looks, but they certainly don't share the same fortunes...

Is the House about to become a little more crowded...?

Question: What do you get if you cross a millionaire, a tree surgeon, a model and a man who's into cosmic ordering?

Are you ready for the answer? Well, you'd better be, because the answer is more Big Brother mayhem!

Yes, the next four housemates are waiting in the wings to throw themselves at the mercy of the all-seeing one.

What will the housemates make of a millionaire - not that his money will be much use to him in the House. And a tree surgeon? There's only one tree in the garden and it's not very big.

A model might find himself the object of lots of attention - but maybe not when he reveals he's a fan of the World Wrestling Federation.

And that just leaves the man into cosmic ordering.

Noel? Is that really you?

Ozzy Osbourne steals Lesley's limelight...

Thursday

The article came out in the paper today carrying one of the 900,000 photos they took and I was quite pleased. I'm standing sideways-on and look reasonably together. I didn't have a stylist, good lord no! I have an extensive cupboard of old fart suits which seem to be coming into their own at the moment. I also wore my pearls, mindful of image. Clean and respectable is really the image I do best. And looking reasonably happy in the face of inane questions.

Weird offers keep coming in, strange things. I've been speaking to Wolverhampton radio today - I'm very big in Wolverhampton they tell me. In the media world everyone tells you you're fantastic all the time, whether you are or you're not is really down to the gods to judge. But it's great fun, I love it.

I was going to meet Sharon Osbourne to film a television programme today but apparently Ozzy Osbourne has flown in from Los Angeles and is insisting that he does the show instead of me. I never would have thought I would ever end up in a position where Ozzy Osbourne and I were battling to appear in a televsion programme. I have to say that Ozzy is, by all rights, the out and out winner.

There are lots of things coming up but I'm going to absent myself for the next couple of days, for a very nice social engagement in the country. I haven't eaten much all week because of being so busy with all of this - it's as bad as in the Big Brother House - so I'll be putting that to rights this weekend.

Gerry and Seny 'share the love' with Charley after a tense morning...

Feelings usually run high on Eviction Days but the atmosphere in the House has been super-charged for Charley - and she isn't even up for eviction.

Conscious that Charley had been under fire earlier, Seny held his arms out to her and Gerry for a group hug. "Can we show love?" he asked, gently kissing them both on the cheek.

This seemed to have the desired effect on Charley, with Gerry backing up the good vibes: "Not everybody's against you," he reassured her. "Don't alienate the people who are supporting you - you need the group to support you."

"Yeah Charley?" asked Seny, keen to get her back on an even keel.

"Yeah," said Charley reluctantly, before revealing she wouldn't care if she were nominated. "I can't stand the fact that everyone knows I'm in arguments and that's why I want to go."

Gerry probed a little further by asking Charley why she was always getting into arguments. "Because I'm standing up for myself," came the snappy reply.

"You should do what I do - shut up and move on," suggested Gerry. "We cannot argue with everybody. It's not a conspiracy against you babe. It's up to you."

Wise words from Gerry, but will Charley take heed..?

Gerry and Seny take to the mic for the Big Brother 8 Podcast...

As eviction night approaches, Gerry and Seny have been given the task of interviewing nominated housemates - Tracey, Shabnam and Carole - about their thoughts on life in the House.

As the Gerry and Seny Podcast Show hit the road, Carole was the first person under the wheels.

What did she think about her appearance in the House, the boys asked? "Well," she sighed, "I've not been such a rebel as I thought I'd be," before laughing, "I've done loads more cleaning than I normally would."

Tracey was the next destination for the Big Brother 8 Podcast juggernaut. What were the high and low points of her time in the House, asked the Ant and Dec wannabes?

"The highest point was my birthday," said Tracey smiling. "I had a proper party in the Diary Room. I was 'avin it. I had a bottle of champagne. It was phat. The lowest point," she said, hanging her head slightly, "was being nominated."

And then, as if Gerry and Seny's Podcast truck of love suddenly hit a concrete bollard, it was Shabnam's turn on the mic.

"Shamow! C'mon! Hi, hello, it's Shabs here. Shamow!" she squealed. "I'm gonna have a pampering day and I'll even walk out of here naked if it comes to that. Shamow, shamow, shamow!"

"Are you not meant to ask me any questions?" she added.

Seny just had the one: "Have you stopped for breath honey?"
