The grouchy gang draw claws over last night's boisterous antics...

Take 11 sleepy housemates, wake them with a noise like a jack hammer in an oil drum, add a few drops of ill-feeling from the night before and what do you get?

Yes, a bit of a ding-dong.

After housemates sleepily convened in the Living Area for a morning meeting, concerns were aired by some that the previous night's shenanigans had been a little on the boisterous side.

The horseplay included pillow and water fighting, man waxing, spinning and a fabulous conga round the garden!

"I felt something scratching my eye while I was sleeping," complained Gerry, after it emerged one of the housemates also tried to put makeup on him while he was asleep.

The volume continued to rise as the pow-wow descended into a jumble of I-did-you-did-he-said-she-said.

Having hung back initially, Nicky put her sensible 'mum' hat on and piped up. "There was a point where I thought, someone's going to get hurt here," she said calmly of the larking about.

Laura agreed with her. "I'm sitting there watching, I'm seeing literally everything, there was moments when I was thinking, someone's gonna break their neck," she told the group dramatically.

And then they just carried on shouting at each other.

Maybe an early night is in order..?

Wax On, Wax Off

Day 16, 22:55

Seany gets himself into a hairy, sticky situation...

The bedroom degenerated into mayhem this evening, when the housemates decided to wax Seny, have a pillow fight and conga round the garden.

As the hapless Seny entered the bedroom, the screaming girls jumped on him, daubing wax on his leg.

"No! No! No!" the hapless charity worker shrieked through his laughter.

"Just the one, just the one," Ziggy repeated, as the girls approached Seny with the waxing strip.

"Just relax, Seny," Chanelle coaxed.

"Leave it, leave it," Ziggy told the girls sternly, as the predatory women attempted to pounce on Seny again. "Did it hurt?" he then asked.

"No, no... not really!" Seny retorted, with a smile.

And then chaos broke out...

Seny picked up Chanelle and spun her round as the other housemates started a mass pillow fight.

"Guys," Seny called, "One... two... three: bongo!"

And he was off, joining the conga procession, freshly waxed leg and all...

Nicky dispenses with her beloved fags...

Nicky and Laura came to the Diary Room earlier to celebrate a very special instance of willpower - Nicky's abstinence from her daily cigarettes.

"We're here because Nicky has given up smoking!" Laura announced, clapping as Nicky did a cheery dance in front of the camera. "Mind my boob," Wangers then added sharply.

"I don't know how long the happiness is going to keep up for," the nanny laughed, before doing a mock impression of Nicky: "'Gimme the fags, gimme the fags, I'm giving in!' Or she'll be pinching tobacco in the middle of the night."

"I'm very proud of her," Laura continued. "Because it's a very hard thing to do and she's going to try her best to keep it up."

"How are you feeling, Nicky?" Big Brother asked.

"Very proud of myself," Nicky admitted. "Though this is day two. 'Day two, and Nicky has not had a cigarette'," she intoned, in the voice of the legendary Big Brother narrator.

"And she's not going to have a smoke tomorrow, 'cause she's got no cigarettes," Laura nodded.

Good girl, Nicky, you can do it!

Food for Thought

The housemates get a few of their favourite things...

Big Brother gave the housemates a proper culinary treat this evening - providing them with a lavish spread based on Carole, Shabnam and Tracey's best loved foods, as, for one of the girls, tonight will be their last night in the House.

"Will all housemates gather at the dining table," Big Brother instructed.

"I haven't done my make-up!" Charley worried, fluffing her hair and heading to the mirror as the others made their way through to the dining room.

"Aaaagh!" the girls screamed as they spied the food-laden table, then backed away when Big Brother barked, "Housemates must not touch the food until instructed to do so."

"That looks minging," Seny grimaced, eyeing up the strange combination of foods.

"Would one housemate please stand up, open the envelope and read the instructions aloud to the group?" Big Brother boomed.

"How about we just eat?" a tactful Shabnam suggested, forgetting for a moment that this is Big Brother.

Laura ripped open the envelope. "Housemates, as you will be aware, tonight may be Carole - aaaagh!" she screamed, before realising her mistake.

"...Shabnam or Tracey's last night - oh, course it is - in the Big Brother house," she finished. "To mark this occasion, Big Brother has provided Carole, Shabnam and Tracey's favourite foods for you all to enjoy together."

The House burst into applause and screams.

"It's amazing!" raved an unusually quiet Shabnam.

But a subdued Tracey looked miserable, and left the table to go and have a private cry in the bedroom.

Maybe her favourite cheese and onion crisp sandwiches weren't that tempting after all?

Game On

Seany attempts to invent a new game...

The housemates were messing around in the bedroom tonight, when a bored Seny decided to liven things up by creating a brand new game.

"Can we have everyone's attention please?" he demanded. "This is very important."

As the others gradually quietened down, the charity worker began, "We have a new game. Everyone is going to adopt something of their own, okay? And we can only play this game whenever everybody's in the room at once."

The other housemates nodded.

"For example, if Chanelle was to say 'sheep'," Seny continued, "for one minute, everybody has to stop what they're doing and they'd have to make sheep noises. And after one minute, everyone has to stop making sheep noises and they have to continue going about their business as though nothing has happened."

There was a chorus of assent.

"So if Tracey was to say 'part', everyone must part or if Ziggy was to say 'statues', everybody freezes for one whole minute," Seny finished.

"This could be very funny," Ziggy reckoned. "If a new housemate walks in, it could be hysterical if we all stop..."

But not all the housemates were so keen. "I don't understand the game," Charley argued, while Shabnam suggested helpfully, "Can't we just do an impression of Lesley?"

Well, that would be one solution...

Korma Chameleon

Day 16, 18:01

The housemates fantasise about their dream meals...

Mouths were watering in the bedroom this afternoon as the housemates discussed that most ubiquitous of House subjects - food.

"I don't know what we're going to do when the food runs low," Gerry worried. "We'll have two days of starvation... or maybe do some tasks to earn some food."

"Chinese again?" Laura suggested, enthusiastically.

"Indian, Indian," Gerry chirped animatedly. "Indian would be nice." So you like Indian then, Gerry?

"Indian would be great," Chanelle agreed.

"Chicken korma," nodded Gerry. "Very nice."

"We always have chicken korma," the Posh wannabe told him.

"But chicken korma is something special," Gerry argued. "I love it."

"I like chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, chicken jalfrezi..." an unfussy Laura claimed.

"I like Italian," Amanda announced, clearly not interested in currying favour.

Massage in a Bottle

Seany finds himself in demand...

The housemates got touchy feely today when the subject turned to body massage - and Seny discovered that his hands were in great demand.

"Can I have a massage Seny, later tonight?" Shabnam begged.

"I love massage," Seny sighed, deflecting the question.

"I've got massage oil," volunteered Gerry, handing over the bottle.

"May I just say, everybody, that I've got a really bad back 'cause of my boobs," Laura moaned. "So I deserve to have one next."

"Do you want me to give you one?" Shabnam asked.

"I'll let Seny have a go," Laura dismissed her ungratefully. But Seny had other ideas.

"When did you last have a massage?" he asked Nicky, before beginning to knead her back. "Wow, how tense are you?!"

"What is he doing?" Gerry asked, unimpressed.

"He's getting to all the funny bones," Shabnam informed him, knowingly.

"I want one of those!" Gerry sulked. "Seny boy, you never do this to me! I'm very jealous now. That hurts! I have to sleep next to you and you never give me a massage."

"I think sleeping with me's enough!" Seny laughed.

Better watch it Seny - Gerry'll get touchy!

Banana Split

Three bananas are missing! Cue enormous argument...

An argument exploded between the housemates today after Charley accused Shabnam of stealing bananas from the shopping.

"How dare anyone accuse me?" asked an outraged Shabnam, who had admitted taking a toilet roll this morning.

While the two girls shouted and screamed, the boys thought the whole thing was hilarious and sang cheery songs over the din. "Ba-na-naaa! Ba-na-na-na-na-naaa!" they chanted, dancing around the bedroom.

"Shab, you know what?" reprimanded Charley. "You shout."

"I'm loud by nature!" retorted Shabnam. "This is me!"

"You should have said we'll share them," scolded Charley.

"Are you not cleverer than that?" Shabnam blared.

Shabnam and Charley simply couldn't calm down. Charley decided to enter the Diary Room for some alone time. Shabnam, meanwhile, cooled off with Carole.

"Am I really that loud?" she asked.

Breaking Some Eggs

Day 16, 15:25

The girls get a cookery lesson...

There's a first time for everything and today Carole taught Chanelle, Sam and Amanda how to make an omelette.

"You're doing an omelette are ya?" asked an impressed Carole, who then had to point out the difference between a cheese slicer and a potato peeler to her novice chefs.

Having eliminated the pans that still smelled of fish, Carole set the girls up with everything they needed and sat on the sofa.

"I've left them doing it," Carole told Laura. "What you don't want is, because someone's cooking, someone else goes [over] and then someone else... it's going to be chaos over there."

Just at that point, Charley and Shabnam immediately joined Chanelle and the twins in the kitchen, having followed their screams as they tried to flip the omelette.

"Tastes good girls," declared Ziggy, sneaking in to steal a taste.

"It doesn't matter what it looks like. That tastes proper," he concluded. "It's not something you'd put up for an award but it tastes pretty good."

Bare Necessities

Ziggy decides he might just get naked...

The housemates were focusing on the body beautiful this afternoon as they indulged in a pampering session and considered the merits of baring all.

"I walk around stark naked in my own house," Ziggy told Gerry and Nicky. "I'm not gonna stop here."

"Maybe you should," Gerry suggested and Nicky burst out laughing.

Nicky was treating herself to a long soak in the bath tub in the living room. She shaved her armpits while Carole applied a blotchy face pack.

Even Gerry joined in, covering his classical features with a bright green face cream.

Meanwhile, Chanelle was trying out hair extensions in the bedroom. The twins attached a selection of fake golden locks to Chanelle's blonde bob. "Two different colours," joked Chanelle, "but whatever!"

She looked a treat with long hair but decided to stick with her short style after all. Well, if it's good enough for Posh...
