Weekly Round Up
Day 76, 07:45
We look back at another enthralling week in the House...
You can go one week in the outside world with not too much happening; this can't be said about the Big Brother House, as yet another action-packed week comes to an end. We look back at some of the highlights.
The Time Machine Task was in full swing on Sunday as Brian and Kara-Louise headed back to 2002 with Alex and Adele from Big Brother 3 joining them for a faceoff. This obviously got Brian in a confident mood and he later professed his affection for a certain twin. After some girly-like chat, Brian sealed the deal by planting a kiss on his beloved Amanda. The morning after set in pretty quickly though as Amanda started to have her doubts. Gerry and Jonty were given a history test but failed and ultimately put the nail in the coffin for their shopping budget.
Liam, Sam, Amy and Amanda travelled back to 100,000 BC in the latest part of their Task and later nominations were revealed which saw Amy, Kara-Louise, Jonty and the twins up for eviction. Amy, Jonty and Kara-Louise got the chance to see what their housemates really thought of them and to top it all, the housemates heard they had failed the Time Machine Task.
Things started to get a bit cheesy in the House as housemates became guinea pigs in an experiment to see whether eating cheese really does give you weird dreams. But did the housemates' dreams become a reality?
Now, the weekly roundup just wouldn't be the same without Ziggy missing Chanelle, but could he have found someone new already?
Meanwhile, housemates start clearing out the fridge as they faced living on rations for a week.
However, they managed to forget about their stomachs for a few hours as they had their minds on a model walkoff.
But it was soon back to reality as Amy was given the boot from the House. But her snog-partner Liam was just happy that the twins survived. Amy careered out of the House and had her interview with Davina.
On Saturday morning, Big Brother took Tracey to paradise, with her very own rave in the garden. Some of the housemates weren't too happy with their outfits though...
The housemates turned into cunning linguists for their latest Task but who came out tops?
Sunday is usually one for relaxing and Big Brother took that notion to an entirely new level when the Perfect Housemate Task was announced with the gang attempting to become better housemates via a series of spiritual tasks to improve their bodies, minds and souls. There was a twist though as each person who is crowned a guru in each part of the Task will avoid being up for eviction, with the rest facing the dreaded chop.
It started out with a bit of log chat and moved onto a test of the mind with Ziggy crowned the first guru and therefore earning immunity from nomination this week.
Who will join him and who will be up for nomination this week, it's bound to be riveting stuff - stay close.
