CHAPTER 4


-Next Morning-

Rey was still sleeping today. Of course because he was dreaming about his baby and taani. Everyday he used to wake up early but today he didnt even realise that sunrays are coming in the room through the window. His mouth was half open. Half of the blanket was on the bed, in his legs and half was on the ground.

He got disturbed a bit by the sun rays and he changed his position. He was now sleeping on his belly. His hand hold a pillow and he pull it near him imagining it as taani😆😆.

He squeez the pillow more and try to feel her but later he realise she is not with him anymore. He slowly open his eyes and the first sight he caught was the photo in which they both were smelling a rose. Automatically the corner of his lips twitched up and a smile came on his face.

"i want you back teddy bear."thought rey.

-meanwhile with taani-

Waterdrops were falling on her head and rolling down from her head to her face to her body. She was in deep thoughts.

"u didnt trust me rey...i will never forgive you." thought taani. Tears which were coming out of her eyes,mixed with the water.

"i dont want you to be near tanish." again she thought. "I trusted u with my whole heart. I was not ready to be in a relationship... but you made me fall in love with you. You promised my mom to take care of me rey...and...and...what have you done rey?? Did u forget your promise?? I will never forgive you rey."

After few minutes she came out of the shower. Tannu was still sleeping. His mouth open just like his dad. Taani sighed and wore her dress.



She wore a denim skirt and white top. Today she was on leave because tara was on a leave and she cant take risk of leaving tannu alone at home.

-with rey-

Rey was smilling looking at the photograph. Just then his phone rang. He saw the caller ID-

"Sheena calling"

"ya sheena..." said rey lazily.

"rey you are still sleeping?? Everyday u came to office at 9 am right?? See the time its 9:30 and u r not here??" said sheena in one go.

"what?? 9:30??" rey panicked and sat in his bed. His hairs were messy. He run his hand through his hairs.

"yes...9:30...come fast." said sheena...

"actually m not coming today. Cancel all my meetings." said rey making sheena shock.

"what??but why??" ask sheena.

"thats really very personal. Ok bye...m getting late." said rey and he cut the call.

"hello...hello...rey.." sheena said but rey was not there.

"what the hell...now where is rey going..." thought sheena.

"jay...guess what??" said rey excitedly.

"rey...u r sounding very happy...whats the matter??" ask jay as he feel rey's voice full of excitement. Jay was going to sleep and rey called him.

"jay...m going to find taani." said rey.

"what??? Omg...finally...finally u r going.." said jay..

"yes finally yar...i think its enough now...i mean taani ne jo kiya ok...i want to forget it now and want her back in my life." said rey while starting his car.

"i wish you had realised this earlier." said jay.

"hmmm...and after that i will give you a surprise too." said rey..

"wow...now i cant wait yar...plz tel me tell me tell me na.." said jay making rey laugh a bit.

"i will tell you soon jay. Ok bye...m getting late...i will talk to u later." said rey in one go. And cut the call.

"rey...rey listen.." jay try to say but he cut the call.

"ok...here i come taani." said rey and he start driving.

-with taani-

"tannu...wake up baby...see its morning now." said taani tapping his cheeks lovingly and ruffling his hairs.

"uummm.." tannu growned in his sleep and change his side.

"come on tannu...wake up." said taani and she hold his in her arms.

He growned more in her arms and start rubbing his eyes with his tiny fists. Taani place a kiss on his cheek and went in washroom.

Taani came in the washroom with tannu.

Tannu saw bathtub full of water with toys floating in it. Bathing is his favourite activity. He loves bathing. He loves to sprinkle water on taani while bathing. He loves to play with his fav bath toys like duck star fish , fish , turtule , frog..

Tannu start giggling and clapping his hands. He start to lean down towards the bath tub.

Taani put him in the bath tub and he started playing with the green fish and started to wave his hands in water.




"tannu...stop baby.." said taani as tannu start sprinklling water on her from the bath tub.

"mumma...park..." said tannu in his childish voice.

"yes...we will go in park after bath." said taani applying soap on his body.

Tannu started to put soapy bubbles on his head.



"stop stop stop...first close your eyes tannu." said taani. Tannu didnt understand her words. Taani put her hand on his eyes and made him close his eyes. Then she hold a shower in her hand and wash his body.

Tanish was sitting on the sofa with his stuffed toys after his breakfast. He was wearing this clothes.



Taani came there with his medicines. When he saw medicines in taani's hands he start coming down from the sofa , but taani caught him and made him sit in her lap. He was trying to get free but taani didnt leave him. He started to crying.

Taani forcefully made him drink the medicines.

"ok now stop crying. We r going in park...shh...stop..." said taani caressing his back softly. His head was laying on her shoulder. It was 10:30 am of morning and many small kids of apartment were in the park.

"tannuuu..." few kids of age 4-5 came running towards taani.

Taani put him down. His face was looking pale.

"aww...tannu what happen??" ask a cute girl of age 4.

Tannu didnt look at her. Instead of that he was looking at taani.

"tannu come...we will play with the ball." said a boy. "come come..."

That boy hold his one hand and that girl hold his other hand and they took him with them.

Taani sat on the bench of the park. He saw tannu was smilling now. She smiled looking at him. He was playing with a ball. They were teaching him how to kick a ball. Tannu was 1 and half year old so he dont know how to kick a ball. He can throw it but he dont know how to kick.

A kid kick it and it went little far from tannu. He slowly try to run. He reach there and hold that ball in his tiny palms. He throw the ball a little far and then started to clap with his cute gigglings.

Again he run to take the ball but a girl take it and she start running from there. Tannu also start running slowly after her. But in between that he tripped and fell down. His knee got hurt and it start bleeding.

As soon as taani saw him falling she ran to him. Another kids who were playing with him gather around him. He was weeping. Taani made him sat in her lap. Thanks to god it was only normal rashes and bleeding was not that much.

"tannu...dont cry...kuch nahi hua hai.." said a boy.

"see tannu.." a little girl made him look at her and she start making funny faces.

After a lot of effort he again start smilling. Taani took him and went back in her flat and she apply antiseptic on his wound. Then made him sleep and she went to make lunch.

"excuse me..can i know which doctor had the appointment of taani singhania yesterday??" rey asked to the receptionist.

"just a minute sir." said the girl and she checked. Any doctor aee working in this hospital.

"sorry sir...no one is in the list named taani singhania." said the girl

"ok..check taani shekhawat." said rey again.

The girl checked and said

"yes...taani shekhawat. She had an appointment yesterday with dr. Mishra."

Rey felt hurt hearing taani shekhawat instead of taani singhania. But he controlled his feelings and ask her about dr. Mishra's cabin.

"taani shekhawat...ohh yes...i know her.." said dr. Mishra.

"i m her husband reyaansh singhania." said rey.

"ohh...now i got it why she write tanish singhania and taani shekhawat..." said dr.

"tanish singhania...??" ask rey..

"yes...your son..actually his reports are ready. Wait let me read." said dr and he open his reports.

"umm...actually doctor i want her address. I dont know where is she living. I want to meet her and my son." said rey.

"oh sure...i can give u her address. Wait a minute i have her address. " said dr and he took out a chit from a drawer and give it to rey.

"thank u...thank u so much doctor." said rey smilling widely.

"u welcome mr. Singhania. And one more thing..."

"yes??"

"i want to discuss something very important with u." said dr.

"ya sure.." said rey.

"first listen to me and do not panick ok. I want to discuss about your son's health." said dr. Mishra

"health?? Reports?? Is tanish ok sir??" ask rey.

"no..he is not ok..he has leukemia." said dr making rey shocked.

"leu...leukemia??" ask rey stammering.

"yes...but dont worry...its curable mr. Singhania. Leukemia is one type of blood cancer which is common in young kids. And it is curable with many treatments." said dr. Mishra.

"show me his reports doctor." said rey and dr give him his reports.

He read his name Tanish R Singhania. Age 1 year 6 months.

"i will go in biggest cancer specialist hospital. Nothing will happen to my son." said rey looking at the doctor.

"he will be absolutly fine mr. Singhania. Keep faith in god." said the dr.

Rey stand up from the chair and start walking outside. Yesterday he got the news about his child and today...today he came to know about his disease. He couldnt controll his tears coming out of his eyes. He tightly close his eyes and let them flow down on his cheek.

Rey was standing in front of her flat. His hand was on the doorbell switch. He was thinking how will he tell taani abt this. How will she bear it.

At last he rang the bell and wait for taani to open the door.

Taani was in the kitchen , making lunch. She heard the door bell and went to open the door.

She open the door only to find her husband standing there. His eyes blood shot because of crying.

"where is tanish??" he asked directly looking into her eyes.

"what the...how did he come to know about tannu?? Is he here to take him away from me?? Krishnaji...plz help me..." thought taani.

Rey found her lost somewhere. He again asked her.

"taani where is my child??"

"umm...your child??" taani dont want him to know about tannu.

Rey run his hand through his hair and let out a long breath. In a very next second rey pushed her and went in the house. He locked the door and look at taani.

"dont try to hide it taani...i know about tanish. And dont worry i will not snatch him away from you." said rey calmly.

Taani looked in his blood shot eyes. It seems he had been crying from long.

"he is in that room." she said pointing toward a room.

Rey immidiately ran in that room. Taani too went behind him at she stand at the entrance.

Rey saw him , his child. He was sleeping peacefully on the bed. His knee was bandaged. His hairs just like him. And he was sleeping with open mouth just like him. He let out a small smile abd a tear also roll down from his eyes. He bent down on his knees and kissed his forehead.

Taani saw this. Her eyes also become teary.

He hold him in his arms and hug him. He started crying like a kid hugging him. Tanish got disturbed and he open his eyes. Rey look at him and shower kisses on his face.

"i think i was wrong...i did wrong that i hide this from rey." thought taani after seeing him crying like a kid. "but why rey is crying?? Uffo taani u hide from him about his son. He is meeting him today only. Its obvious that he will cry."

But seeing a stranger tanish started crying badly. He started to find taani. He caught her near the door and he stratch his hands towards taani indicating her to took him back from rey.

Taani ran to them and took tannu in her arms.

"rey u go...i m coming." said taani.

Rey went out of the room. And taani was trying to calm him down and made him sleep again.

After 20 minutes taani cane out of the room. First she went in the kitchen and brought a glass of water for him.

Se offered him water and he gulped it down immidiately.

"rey...why are you here??" ask taani.

As soon as she ask this rey stand up and hugged her tightly. Taani could feel that he was shacking. She could feel his silent sobs. Her top was getting wet by his tears.

She know that he did wrong with her. He hurted her the most. But instead of that her hand automatically wrapped around his chest.

After a long time both were so close to each other.

Taani's face was showing no emotions. The guy who didnt trust her , was hugging her like his life depends on her.

But soon her face expression changed in anger when rey said.

"I m sorry taani. Plz come back in my life".

Awesum update...m falling in luv with this story after every chapter n this update had everything love pain happiness masti n anger! Seriously loved it but leukemia to Tannu...that's really shocking but I hope he cures asap n about TaaRey then m damn happy Rey wants her back in her life! N Taani's reaction in precap was expected cause obviously ek sorry me uske 2 yrs ka pain jaiega toh nhi na but m sure Rey will bring her n Tannu back in his life n suspence jaldi kholo na plz k y did Rey leave her 2 yrs back!
