Anjali changes her mangalsutra daily like she changes her sarees. Sometimes it is long chain, sometimes it is like a necklace. Wonder if NA has gifted her with multiple mangalsutras.😆 Wear one according to the day and the mood.

If you notice even Kalindi changes her mangalsutra at times. Sojal and Aastha have kept it to the same pretty much.

I have noticed it too. I think there are no hard and fast rules about it. I know a friend who has got a few in her collection, but only wears a mangalsutra on occasions.

In our custom , mangalsutra has no role in case of a married lady , nowadays women wear it as fashion. I am just curious to know- can they change mangalsutra all the time?

I have noticed Anjali and Kalindi to wear various mangalsutra.

I do not know much about the north/marathi customs on the requirement of wearing the same mangalsutra.
Where I come from (south) u wear the same one. Can't change it. Generally u do not take it off but nowadays a lot of the younger generation go in for a lightweight mangalsutra or do not wear it at all. Its role is that of an accessory.😕 The original one worn at the time of wedding comes out on occasions only.
