Members, please remember that a debatable topic remains interesting when it is done rationally and objectively without letting personal bias seep into it. However, in this particular topic, we see that slowly but definitely the discussion is getting personal, reference is being made directly or indirectly towards others even after request not to by a Dev Team member of the section.

Let us make this very clear, this can be considered as an instigation for a fight and it can in future we will have big issues developing from a simple debate.

All of you are requested to keep all personal prejudice out of it. Rational discussion shall be allowed but there will be no direct or indirect reference towards any members. Strict action will be taken, if even a single complaint is reported about an attack. SO please refrain.

The woman in turn accuses the man of (not lewd conduct but of)molestation and turns him over to the authorities for rape

First of all! This post was posted long back and then I posted after the case of phaneesh murthy of Infosys(He was proved guilty as he was wrong)

I brought back this thread after seeing 3 cases :

1. Case of the world Bank chairman(He is guilty ofcourse )
2. Case on Indian fashion designer who was accused of sexual harassment on models!!
3. Case of my neighbour who is a Project Manager in a good MNC(Their servant stole 30000 rupees from theur house and when they caught her red handed that servant put a rape case on the gentleman,this had a big impact in our area and my father has to help that neighbour in getting out of the case as my father is President of our colony)

I feel decent men are equally unsafe as decent women. The reaction/help which decent women gets is more compared to the help an accused decent man gets!! I don't say the world is so unsafe but .....one needs to be careful in having conflicts with other people because these type of sexual harassments hurt the person and his family members!!

@MQT : SOUL SISTERS is a universal term , When two friends (female) are much close than freinds and whose ideas and ideals match then we call them soul sisters!! If these words have patent right then I will check them and then use it!

Its not directed to the soul sisters of DM , Maya and Merimaid Qt! You both are sammakka and sarakka of Debate Mansion.Sammakka and sarrakka were best freinds and they opposed the evil rule of rulers in telengana in Andhra PRadesh.They are given the local diety status and every year there is a holiday for the sammakka and sarakka jatara( festival and fair)!!😛

that's what you might feel. but it does not apply to all women imo. and the art is in knowing how to make distinctions based on the person on the other side, the time and place. in other words, the context. Sure, not all bad behavior is criminal, but there are certain minimalistic standards in most decent societies and calling people names aint one of them. just because we learned some of that rich vocab growing up does not mean we shld get to try them on others as adults.

as for not knowing what is in someone's heart, not sure if i care, unless they are close to me or i am planning to go out with them. for the rest, i'd couldnt be bothered what insecurities drive them. meanwhile, yes, i will assess them for their actions and words as they relate to me and others. those leave footprints no matter how hard one tries to hide them.
