Sush, I'm on the fence on yesterday's episode. I found it lacking in intensity at the same time I dont think it was as bad as people are making it out to be.

People got to understand that Tv shows have to make money. IPL starts from week after, and if RR wants to make any impact on the TRP's they have to do it in this week and the following week. So the track is being rushed so that we would get a high-point (possible R&P marriage) next week.

RR started off as a fantastic drama, but look at the ratings? This is how the world operates, no one does any charity. Unlike the US where shows are commissioned, in India TRP rules.

I will watch the show until I find it enjoyable, and I still find RR enjoyable in spite of some tiny inconsistencies. Just the other week I watched 2 shows in SP- One were Gopi bau remarries her husband under the influence of sleeping pills( how she manages to sit straight in her sleep is something I can't understand) and the other where beendhini spent 2 weeks to find the person who had stolen her SIL's wedding lehenga. Given all of these RR is a zillion times better.

feedback is different from dictating what we want. I wish people would understand the difference between two.

Awesome post Sush! I liked how Paro finally learned that Rudra is the sad boy from her past, the one she tried to cheer up by gifting her precious doll.

Fantastic post Sush...
I have been holding back my comments after seeing all the posts in the forum since the last episode.
Seeing your post made me feel better...
So here you go...🤗

RR is a very unique show, we were promised a unique, intense, passionate and bold love story...that's what they are showing.
They said Rudra will be grey and that's what he is. And Ashish himself said people will hate Rudra.
They said Paro will be the only white spot on this grey canvas...isnt that what they are showing?
So I see nothing inconsistent here with the characterizations.

AS far as the current track, let it unfold.
Paro is not in love, but definitely in an idolizing and hero worship mode right now.
The doll connection gives her a divine signal and Paro being Paro takes that seriously.
I dont see her compromising her self respect in not reacting to Rudra 'selling her off' ...She was initially shocked and shattered, but when Rudra stopped Sumer from touching her, she sees the contradiction in Rudra's actions and his feelings towards her reflecting from his eyes. She has read him completely and therefore does not consider his actions as demeaning and insulting.

Rudra's treatment of Paro is unfair and chauvinistic and being a woman I hate it...
But that's what RR is about...

In the other serial - the ML while hurting the FL always showed pain/regret at doing so - which is why it worked in spite of all the abuse. Rudra does not show this regret or emotion - which is why it appears cold hearted. Acting issues or is this how the CVs want to take it?
Sush - thoughts?

You are right. It could be that the CV's want to take it this way... if you see one of the "on location" interviews... Ashish clearly says that "Rudra hates Paro"... So clearly that is the directive he has been given and acting it...

Don't mean to butt in but, I don't think she was referring to you at all. I think it was all the angry posts on the forum yesterday. 😊
