Rudy Rudy Rudy...so scared is our man...that he can't accept happiness when it is knocking on his door...

What has hurt him the most is that she chose another man giving up on him...He tried to hold on to her...he did everything possible...Yes I am talking about the Shivratri mela...and she ditched his trust,...she hit him from the back...she got rid of his grip...and she walked away...

What was he thinking...caring for her...she could never be trusted...she was AFTERALL a beautiful woman...He knew that...should have known that...but he had forgotten momentarily...for a brief period of time...when he thought she was something else...when he cared for her...and when his eyes looked for her every moment...when the thought of her getting hurt ...was unacceptable...But all that was for nothing...she Walked away...by choice...just like another woman did at anothe point in time...He will not allow himself to get hurt like that AGAIN!

That is the bigger issue...Not she hurting Dilsher...which may not be true...although he doesn't want on think about that either...

So what does he do? He tries to hurt her...and as if to prove a point...that it does not matter...giving her up...he will force her to get married to some one else...He will put the story back where it started...when she belonged to another man...when he was nothing to her and she was nothing to him...RESET button...that's what he wants...

So he gives the the bridal dress back as a gift...the same one that STARTED IT ALL!!! What was IT that started that day? Whatever IT was...he will BREAK IT OFF! and that's exactly what he did...or tried to do...today...

I was also thinking though that as much Rudra was pushing Paro into marrying Sumer - he was also quite obviously telling her not to marry that loafter Sumer (in his own words no less !!!)

He was more insistent that she leave without marrying than going through with a marriage to Sumer. Methinks he was too obvious that he does want to see his Paro with another man! Paro noticed it too - hence the "your words and your eyes are saying different things" comment.

And the red lehenga - I thought it might signify how things could go wrong with a fake marriage - so a gift that is meant to tell her to not go through with the wedding... although when she pushed him his resolve firmed up alright!!

And the funny thing is - I was thinking the same thing as the other post on this thread... a marriage is so happening in the next 2 weeks. All thanks to Paro's public proposal in front of the senior officials and media! Poor thing - the harder he runs, the faster he is sliding backwards...

Nice post.
The episode was too meh for me. Obviously we are heading towards a forced marriage and massive amounts of hate coming from Rudra towards Paro thanks to the public proposal. They have already messed with Rudra's character making him seem cuckoo, so I guess it is only fair to make a dent on Paro's as well. Frustrating as heck. After Monday's interesting plot twist, this one I am not liking at all. Why can't they just separate the two. All the dard and angst will be so beautiful.
Also, I don't see any hint of conflict in Rudra. Though Paro mentioned the whole, aapki aankhen kuch aur and zubaan kuch aur... actually none of it reflected in his eyes. He just looks grumpy and angry. None of that, oh my god I have feelings for her, but I cannot afford to have them.

Paro's action will be innocent but Rudra will be humiliated and he will assume Paro does it on purpose his superiors will force his hand considering the public spectacle this will cause. I have a feeling Rudra's earlier ploy to get Paro to sign by forcing her to marry will also come under scrutiny and questioned at how is this army officers behave. He has just won a bravery award and immediately his conduct will be under scrutiny again, he has jumped out of the fire saving his BSD job but again his seniors will question his methods. Will Rudra risk another pubic scandal he will accept to marry Paro just to save face. Paro will go into the marriage thinking all izz well then bomb will explode on her in the form of Rudra. But never fear Paro will bounce back and win his love.

The public disclosure is an interesting twist...that's has got to have some implication...I was thinking Paro will be humiliated by proposing in public and Rudy rejecting her...but may be its the other way around...haven't seen any SBS segments etc...want to see the real thing ...Rudy is going to be mahaupset for sure...šŸ˜†

May be he will give her the wedding but hold the maafi...and will declare so...
BTW...isn't forced marriage usually one where the FL is forced...here you mean ML is forced into marriage? Thats a REAL TWISTER!!!!! šŸ˜†

I wish they had focused on his eyes...and shown the look...I agree the dialogue was there but not much opportunity to actually see the signature Rudra look right before the dialogue...

May be this came close...

Did I mention I am so glad to hear about the haircut...šŸ˜†

Yep it was the best omen she ever got... but has Paro figured it all?

The creatives of this show have left no stone unturned in keeping us hooked to the serial.. šŸ‘ I did not expect them to reveal the truth about their childhood so soon.. but what do we get? Wow.. I am impressed... šŸ‘ I am glad they did so too.. this serial is moving at a hell for leather speed... šŸ˜† šŸ‘

Now that Paro has proposed in front of a wide audience not sure what Rudra's next step would be.. he sure appeared shell shocked... šŸ˜† atta gir Paro to have mustered the courage to have proposed... šŸ‘

what's next? - is all I could think of at the end of the episode... because according Rudra's condition, if she desires forgiveness, she will have to marry Sumer and leave for Jaipur... if she refuses to do so then, she will have to vacate the house.. so at the end of the day, either way she has to leave the Ranawat house. Perhaps Paro thought why not I propose marriage to Rudra so that he knows that after all some pretty girls can be trusted... .. but what about the forgiveness and looking after bapusa?

Well I am not going to wreck my tired brains as that is the job of the CVs .. and here for the first time I see a PH which means business.. wonder why the darn TRP so not budging šŸ˜•

on the whole, I am loving this roller coaster ride 😊

So now it's the battle of what he does not want...vs what he does not want...apparently
SuRo vs...PaRud.🤣

But in all of this, he's forgotten abt her, what does she want?? And she will make it very clear at the awards ceremony... First time, FL will force the ML for marriage. 🤣

Was I imagining it, or did the major get a trim??

This show is so unpredictable, I mean when he gave her those two options,,,he thought she wud pick one,

Rudra: you hv two options beautiful woman who cannot be trusted.

Paro: I am ready to die for your forgiveness.

Rudra: fine then, either you marry Sumer and go off to Jaipur with my forgiveness or

Paro: or...?

Rudra: or go off to oblivion out of my sight, this haveli without my forgiveness. Think woman think,,,and let me know,..😈

Paro: okay, I hv made up my mind. I want you to marry me instead.🤣

Rudra: what the...!?😲

I agree - Rudra does not portray this conflict - which is why this is not working for me. He seems to truly hate Paro and want her to go away - thus skipping over the romance element the audience is looking to see in him.
In the other serial - the ML while hurting the FL always showed pain/regret at doing so - which is why it worked in spite of all the abuse. Rudra does not show this regret or emotion - which is why it appears cold hearted. Acting issues or is this how the CVs want to take it?
Sush - thoughts?

Lovely post Sush... Epi was entertaining... but I feel really bad for Paro..!

Rudra is a messed up guy.. !

In real life ... It is so hard to live with such a person... half the life is gone in just figuring out the person... and then you get old..

I am talking from experience
This is soap so hopefully he will change...but in real life they don't change... They never believe that "pure white" people like Paro exists...

OK...in the spirit of honest feedback ( no offense Ashsih sa!) ...I think Ashsih was a little less sharp in his expressions compared to what he he usually is...I was watching a VM someone posted and the expressions in that are AMAZING! I blame the long hair...of course ..šŸ˜† Tomorrow we will have the sharp expressions again...šŸ˜†

But seriously...he usually does and can do better...plus the director needs to spend time to give some good close ups...to capture the fine conflict...

Having said...all that...right now Rudra is more sadistic and punishing mood than a I love you so much ...I can't help it...mood...so I don't think they are way off...
