In the show I have seen both Veera n Gunjan mentioning the education of the Pindwaala boys Ranvi n Baldev
If Veera marries Baldev for the right reasons then I think his education would not be a problem... Same applies to Gunjan too!!!
Learning is something which u can do at anytime or at any phase of ur life... But what is the definition of education is something that really matters?? I feel the pind gals r obsessed with long degrees attached to their boys names!!! But girls open ur eyes n see n decide who is more educated n then ur answer for all the dilemma would be our "Pind d Heroes"
Veera - Educated Karan vs. Uneducated Baldev
Veera was always equivocal about education but she failed to see that Karan was not worthy of accolades.
Karan made fun of Ranvi in his first encounter itself infront of a huge crowd. Is that a trait u would expect from ur educated hubby???
Karan was hugging Veera khule aam in the pind and now after the play we know that he had a hint about Veera's feelings towards him... Karan did not even think twice before doing such an act in a conservative place n where his brains on vacation to think that it was completely alright to do a PDA in a conservative village??? Our uneducated Baldev knew really well that this was wrong and he logically pointed out that Veera was the one who should have taken better care while showing PDA as she knows the Pind and Pindwaalas mindset clearly!!! I think the uneducated Baldev was much more sensible than the educated sheharwaalas Veera n Karan!!!
Karan did not respond to Veera being eve teased by the neighboring village boys... Education empowers and teaches you to stand up for the evils in the society, doesn't it? Now here comes the contrast, the so called gawaar village boy Baldev was angry beyond words watching it, but he dismissed a scene there n walked off, but when the time was apt he acted n gave a befitting reply to the eve teasers... He repeated this gesture infront of the cyber cafe too... Well educated Veera dismissed it as an act of Heroism from Baldev...
When solar panels was smashed Veera did not take a second to accuse Baldev that he did the heinous act... So Karan knew very well what was the importance of this project for Veera. Still he did not mind joining hands with Khuraana for removing the panels from the village n push them in to the abyss of darkness... Baldev despite hearing so many taunts n accusations still had come forward to help Ranvi when he badly needed it... Now that is what I call having ur heart n brain in the right place!!!
Baldev never tried to take advantage of the close proximity with Veera or any other girl!!! During the Heer-Ranjha play while Veera's friend asked Baldev to be closer to Veera, he stood at a safe distance from her and replied "Haan bhai tteek hai!!!"... He did not want to go too closer to Veera even though his heart had already started somersaulting for her!!! Karan was total contrast to this, he tried to flirt n touch the dancing girl during the item number "Hua Chokra Jawaan Re...", but there too Baldev maintained a safe distance from the girl and was not carried away by the dancing girl's proximity!!! The most noteworthy point of his gentlemen behavior was that he did not take even a slightest advantage of Veera's vulnerability during the hug scene... He was rather concerned whether someone else would see them in such an awkward situation...
Paisa, Pyaar aur Mohabbat... Even though the whole world label him as heartless, Baldev very well knew that "prem, pyaar ki baataon mein paisa kahaan se aa gayi...???" Look Veera what a contrast to the educated Karan, who literally sold your dreams for a few coins!!!
Baldev is truly a class apart even as an enemy!!! Even though he knew for these many years, that Veera n Ranvi were half siblings he never used it as a weapon to thrash her infront of him... Your bestie without a hitch crashed your dreams n aspirations for fulfilling his dreams!!! If an educated friend is like this, then any day I would prefer an uneducated enemy to him!!!
Gifts and Baldev seems to be a bad combination in Veera's POV, as he had gifted her tools to repair her bike. Even though Veera dismissed him as a bewakoof, I felt that was an extremely thoughtful gift coupled with care, he very well knew how she could land up in trouble if her phatphatiyaa got stuck in a deserted place... (I wanna see Veera's bike getting some issue in a remote area n she actually being thankful to Baldev for the so called stupid useless gift at a point in the soap where VeeBa won't be in talking terms and Veera missing Baldev badly!!!)
Similarly there were innumerable times where Veera has taunted him, provoked him n abused him, but he always maintained a limit while taunting her or retaliating to her scheming plots...
Now we gotta analyse what is the real meaning of education, don't we???
This world is full of paradoxes n contrasts created by the society, be it educated or uneducated, richer or poorer, fairer or darker!!! High time we break these walls, cliches n monotones to rediscover true love... The only thing every human yearn for is pure unadulterated love!!!
