Khushi points to the signboard which read 'Bienvenue a' Trouville sur mer!'
Khushi: Yahaan par jo likha hai uss ka kya matlab hota hai?
Arnav: Usska matlab hai Welcome to Trouville!
Khushi: Sur mer matlab..
Arnav: Matlab.. samandar k kinaare.
Khushi: Achchha? Humein laga sur mer ka matlab sheher ya.. aisaa kuch hoga. Waise,hum kahaan rehnewaale
hain?
Arnav: Bahut jald pataa chal jaayega!
Khushi did not ask anything after that.
*10 minutes later*

Khushi: Humne kabhi nahi socha tha ki humein kabhi kisi aise ghar me rehne ka maukaa milega jisk
theek saamne samandar hoga!
Arnav paid the taxi driver before turning to Khushi.
Arnav: Baaki ki baatein andar chalkar karein?

Arnav: Kyunki humein iss ghar me aaj ka din hi milega,iss liye.
Khushi: Nahi,humein koi afsos nahi hai ki hum yahaan der se aaye. Kyunki
kal aur aaj wahaan watersports karnaa zaroori tha,aapki khushi k liye! Yahaan 1 hi din mila toh kya
ho gaya? Hum iss 1 din ko aise bitaayenge ki aage chalkar humein koi afsos nahi hoga! Jab bhi hum
iss din ko yaad karenge tab humare chehre par muskuraahat hogi!
Arnav: Absolutely!
Khushi: Haan! Toh hum kya keh rahe the?
Arnav: Tum iss ghar ki baat kar rahi thi.
Khushi: Haan! Yahaan k sab hi kamre bahut achchhe aur hawaadaar(airy) hain. Aur baithak me toh fireplace bhi hai!
Arnav: Ya,I saw that.
She points to the balcony outside the room.
Khushi: Aur iss baraamde se dekhne par samandar kitna qareeb lag raha hai! Yahaan toh lehron
ki aawaaz bhi aati hogi..
Arnav: I'm sure,aati hogi.
Khushi: Humara toh jee kartaa hai ki hum saare samay yaheen baithkar samandar dekhte rahein!
Arnav: I'm sorry Khushi!
Khushi: Kis baat k liye?
Arnav: Tumhari yeh wish puri nahi hogi!
Khushi(shocked): Kyun?
Arnav: Kyunki tumhara kaafi sara time mere saath beetnewala hai!
Khushi blushed upon realizing the hidden meaning of his words.
Arnav scooped her up in his arms & took her to their bedroom.

Khushi woke up with a jerk.
Khushi(scared): Arnavji?
Arnav(arm around her): Ha Khushi? Kya hua tumhe?
When Khushi turned towards him,Arnav saw her forehead which was covered with sweat.
Arnav: Tum theek ho?
Instead of replying to his question,Khushi wrapped her arms tightly around him.
Arnav(rubs her back): Relax..
He kissed the back of her head before breaking the hug.
Arnav: Ab mujhe bataao,kya dekha tumne sapne me?
Khushi: Woh hi jo aaj subha.. aap k saath hua.
Arnav: I shouldve known!
He wrapped his arms protectively around her.
Arnav: I'm here,Khushi. And I'm safe,thanks to u! So,ab darne wali koi baat nahi hai!
Khushi holds his hand before speaking.
Khushi: Aapko pataa hai? Aaj se pehle humein itna dar tab lagaa tha jab babuji ko dauraa padaa tha.
Babuji humare parivaar ki buniyaad hain. Devi Maiyya na kare par.. (gulps)agar unhe kuch ho jaata na toh..
hum sab buri tarah se toot jaate. Khaas kar hum!
Arnav: Khushi,y r u sayin all this?
Khushi: Humein apni baat keh lene dijiye,please..
Arnav nods with a sigh.

Arnav(interrupts): Ssshhh! Main tumhari baat samajh raha hoon,Khushi.
Khushi: Apni sehat ka khayaal rakhna sabse pehle aapki zimmedaari hai. Watersports,kaam-kaaj,pyaar-sab baad me!
Sehat sabse pehle!
Arnav: I know. And believe me when I say that aaj jo hua woh dobara nahi hoga!
Khushi(looks into his eyes): Pakkaa?
Arnav(nods with conviction): Pakkaa!
He wipes her tears before she embraces him yet again.
Arnav: Hey!
Khushi: Hmm?
Arnav: Yahaan ka beach par nahi jaana hai kya?
Khushi: Nahi! Aur aaj toh beach ka naam bhi mat lijiye humare saamne!
Arnav: R u serious?
Khushi(breaks the hug): Bilkul! Aaj hum ghar par rahenge aur aaraam karenge. Aur aap bhi woh hi
karenge,samjhe?
Arnav: Office ka kaam karna allowed hai ya.. woh bhi nahi?
Khushi: Ha.. kar sakte hain, lekin 1 ghante se zyaada nahi!
Arnav(imitates her): Jaisaa aap kahein,Khushiji!
Khushi shakes her head before getting up from the bed.
Arnav(continues with it): Achchha,suniye...
Khushi(wearing her clothes): Boliye?
Arnav: Mujhe kuch poochhna tha..
Khushi: Come on Arnavji! Aapko humari.. permission ki zaroorat nahi hai! Jo poochhna hai khulkar,
bina hesitate kiye,poochhiye!
Arnav hides his smile before continuing.
Arnav: woh.. mujhe yeh poochhna tha ki.. romance karnaa allowed hai ya nahi?
Khushi: Of course allowed hai!
Arnav(pretends to be surprised): Sach me,Khushiji?!
Khushi is unable to control her laughter upon seeing his face.
Khushi: Bas Arnavji!
Arnav(gets up): Bahut,bahut shukriya! Aapko koi andaaza nahi hain ki main aapk iss.. faisle se kitnaa..
khush hoon!
Khushi: Aapk chehre se chhalakti khushi ko dekhkar humein andaaza ho gaya hai!(kisses his cheek)
Naqal utaarne me toh aapka jawaab hi nahi hai!
Arnav(cups her face): Aur aapka bhi nahi hai!
He was about to kiss her when she stops him.
Khushi: Romance karne ki ijaazat kya de di aap toh abhi se shuru ho gaye!
Arnav: Obviously! U see,I dont believe in wastin precious time..
Khushi: Bas,bas! Ab haath-moonh dhokar,dhang k kapde pehenkar kitchen me aa jaiyye.
Arnav: Tum chalo. Main thodi der me aa raha hoon..
Khushi leaves for the kitchen while Arnav leaves for the bathroom.

When Khushi came to the bedroom with Arnav's coffee,she could hear Arnav talking to Aman in the
other room.
Khushi(thinks): Arnavji Amanji se iss waqt kya baat kar rahe hain?
She decided to find out for herself.
When she entered the room,she saw Arnav frowning deeply.
Khushi: Kya hua Arnavji?
Arnav: Kuch nahi. Bas.. Aman se baat kar raha tha.
He took the cup of coffee from her hand.
Khushi: Suna humne. Amanji ne kya kaha? (concerned)Koi gadbad toh nahi hai na?
Arnav: Nahi Khushi,aisaa kuch nahi hai. Its just that Gulmarg me 1 bahut achchha plot mil raha hai. Uss
ki location,price,area-sab kuch perfect hai!
Khushi: Toh yeh toh achchhi baat hai! Phir iss me diqqat kya hai?
Arnav: Diqqat yeh hai ki.. Aman keh raha tha ki agar humne usse jald se jald finalize nahi kiya toh woh
plot humare haathon se nikal jaayega.
Khushi: Toh Amanji se kahiye ki 1 baar Gulmarg jaakar zameen dekh lein aur phir usse finalize kar dein!
Arnav: Khushi,Aman k dekhne se kuch nahi hoga! Jab plot mujhe lena hai toh mujhe hi jana padega na?
Khushi(worried): Hey Devi Maiyya! Toh.. iss ka matlab.. kal Paris jaane k bajaay humein
Gulmarg jaana padega?
Arnav: Nahi Khushi! Hum kaise jaa paayenge wahaan par?
Khushi(sad): Toh.. zameen ka saudaa nahi ho paayega na?
Arnav(confidently): Hoga! Yeh plot humein hi milega!
Khushi: Kaise milega? Jab tak aap k dastakhat nahi honge tab tak yeh sauda pakka kaise hoga?
Arnav: I have an idea!
Khushi: Kaisa idea?
Arnav: Babymoon!
Khushi(frowns): Babymoon?! *when he nods* Ab yeh kaunsa moon hai?
Arnav: Jaise honeymoon hota hai waise hi babymoon hota hai! Farq sirf itna hota hai ki couple
babymoon par tab jaate hain jab woh log baby expect kar rahe hote hain. Humare ghar me bhi 1
couple hai jo expect kar rahe hain.
Khushi: Matlab aap jiji aur jijaji ko Gulmarg bhejna chahte hain?
Arnav: Yup!
Khushi: Ho hi nahi paayega!
Arnav: Kyun nahi?
Khushi: Naniji,mamiji,amma yeh sablog jiji ko Gulmarg jaane ki manzoori thode hi na denge! Aisi haalat
me lambaa safar nahi karnaa chahiye.
Arnav: Oh,come on Khushi! Yeh sab outdated baatein hain. Paayal ki tabiyat bilkul theek hai. And
besides,woh dono chopper se jaayenge,kisi train ya bus se nahi. So fiqr karne ki koi baat hi nahi hogi!
Kuch dinon k liye agar wohlog Gulmarg gaye toh woh unn dono k liye routine se achchha break bhi ho
jaayega aur Aakash k signature karte hi woh plot bhi humara ho jaayega!
Khushi: Par wohlog rahenge kahaan?
Arnav: Uss ki chinta tum mat karo. Main Aman se kehkar necessary arrangements karvaa dunga.
Khushi: Uss se pehle 1 baar jiji aur jijaji se poochh toh lijiye ki unn dono ko jana hai bhi ya nahi?
Arnav: Wohlog manaa kyun karenge?
Khushi: Aap itne yaqeen se kaise keh sakte hain ki wohlog ha hi kahenge?
Arnav: Okay,fine! Main abhi Aakash ko call kar deta hoon. Uss ka jawaab milte hi humein pataa
chal jaayega ki hum me se kaun sahi hai aur kaun galat!

PaYash not only agreed to go to Gulmarg,they were excited about the same.
Khushi could make out from Paayal's voice that she was very happy.
After ending the call,Khushi turned to Arnav who flashed an "I told u so!" smile at her.
Khushi: Achchha hi hua jo aapne unn dono ko bhejne ka faisla kiya! Jiji bahut khush lag rahi thi!
Arnav: Aakash bhi!
Khushi: Waise,1 baat humari samajh me nahi aayi.
Arnav: Kaunsi?
Khushi: Babymoon ko babymoon kyun kehte hain?
Arnav: Kyunki couple baby k saath honeymoon par jaate hain.
Khushi: Bachchhe k saath koi honeymoon par kaise jaa sakte hain? Matlab.. uss haalat thode hi na..
Arnav: What?
Khushi: Woh sab ho saktaa hai jo honeymoon par.. hota hai?
Arnav: Tumse kisne kaha ki nahi ho saktaa hai?
Khushi(shocked): Aap.. k kehne ka matlab hai ki.. uss haalat me bhi..
Arnav: Of course,Khushi! Pregnancy me bhi sex ho saktaa hai..
Khushi: Par.. uss samay honewali ma ko dard nahi hota hoga? Aur.. agar.. Bachchhe ko lag gayi toh?
Arnav: Aisaa kuch bhi nahi hota hai. Pregnancy me sex is perfectly safe. Its just that expectant mother
k comfort ko dhyaan me rakhte huye positions ko thoda sa alter karnaa padta hai. Aur couple ko zyaada
careful rehna padta hai. But they can still make love!
Khushi gulped with uncertainty at the thought.
Arnav: Tumhe aaj tak yeh baat nahi pataa thi?
Khushi(shakes her head): Humein toh lagtaa tha ki 9 mahine parhez karnaa padtaa hai.
Arnav(smirks): Then u should b happy kyunki tumhe koi parhez nahi karnaa padega!
Khushi: Aapk hote huye parhez karnaa mumkin(possible) bhi nahi hai!
Arnav(leans closer): What do u mean?
Khushi(lowers her gaze): Woh.. aap..
Arnav(interrupts): Irresistable hoon,yeh hi na? (grins)I know that!
Khushi(looks at him): Ji nahi! Hum yeh keh rahe the ki aap k liye yeh sab resist karnaa mushqil hai!
Arnav(tilts his head): Really?
Khushi: Ji haan,really!
Arnav(admits): Well,I guess u're right! main resist nahi kar paata hoon coz u're irresistable as well!
He kisses her cheeks one after the other.
Khushi: Main chaahe tumhe resist karne ki jitni bhi koshishein kyun na karoon,lekin main fail ho jata hoon.
(cups her cheeks) Jabse humari shaadi hui hai,tab se I seem to hav lost my 'power of resistance'!
He pecks her lips softly.
Khushi: hmm.. humein bhi yeh hi lagtaa hai!
Arnav(pecks again): Mere baare me ya apne baare me?
Khushi(admits shyly): Dono k baare me..
Arnav smiles before kissing her properly.

ArShi made love near the fireplace.
They clung to each other as they climaxed together.
Soon after,Arnav lay down next to Khushi after covering them with the quilt.
Khushi clutched Arnav's arm.

Khushi: Ab kya.. afterplay?
Arnav(shakes his head): Main.. kuch kehna.. chahta tha.
Khushi: Kahiye?
He waited till his breathing returned to normalcy.
Khushi: kahiye na.. kya baat hai?
Arnav: Main kal subha watersports k liye beach par jaane ki soch raha hoon.
Khushi(shocked): Yahaan bhi watersports hain?*when Arnav nods*Kaun se?
Arnav: Waise toh kayeen saare hain jaise sailing,jetskiing,fishing..
Khushi: Aapko kaunse me dilchaspi(interest) hai?
Arnav: Sirf jetskiing me.
He tells her in detail about everything related to the sport.
Khushi: Aapka man hai toh kar lijiye. Par hum ghar se nashta kar k hi beach par jaayenge.
Arnav: Certainly.
Khushi: Aur.. shukriya!
Arnav(frowns): Kis liye?
Khushi: Kyunki aapne fishing na karne ka faisla liya.
Arnav: I dont understand,Khushi. Uss me.. thanks kehne wali kya baat hai?
Khushi: Pehle aap let jaiyye,phir hum bataate hain.
Once Arnav lies down,Khushi places her head on his chest while placing her right arm around his
waist.
Arnav(arms around her): Ha,ab bolo..
Khushi: Pehle hum aapko Rahimji ka 1 doha sunaate hain.
Arnav: Kyun?
Khushi: Suniye toh!
Arnav sighs while Khushi begins reciting the doha.
Sar sukhe pachchhi ude,
Aur ae saran samaahi.
Deen meen,bin pachchh ke,
Kaho Rahim,kahaan jaahi?
Arnav waits for her to explain the doha.
Khushi: Sar matlab sarovar.
Arnav: Sarovar matlab?
Khushi: Matlab nadi ya taalaab..
Arnav: Got it!
Khushi: Toh jab nadi ka paani sookh jaata hai toh jo panchhi wahaan paani peene k liye aate hain
woh uss nadi ko chhodkar kisi aur nadi ka paani peene k liye chale jaate hain.
Arnav: Obviously.
Khushi: Lekin uss nadi me rehnewali jo machhliyaan hoti hain woh,bichaari,mar jaati hain. Kyunki
unn k paas pachchh matlab pankh nahi hote hain.
Arnav: U mean to say ki unn k paas aur koi option nahi hota hai.
Khushi: Ji. Meen ka matlab hota hai machhli aur deen ka matlab hota hai gareeb. Toh Rahimji ne iss
dohe me machhli ki tulna(comparison) gareebon se aur panchhiyon ki tulna ameeron se ki hai.
Arnav: Understood. Ameeron k paas kisi bhi situation me kaafi saare options hote hain par gareebon k
paas nahi hote hain.
Khushi: hmm. Jab se humne bachpan yeh doha padhaa tha na,tab se yeh baat humare dil me ghar
kar gayi. Humein sirf apne jaise gareebon k liye hi nahi,machhliyon k liye bhi bura lagtaa tha. Nadi,
samandar,taalaab... yeh toh machhliyon ka ghar hai. Jahaan woh bade aaraam se rehti hain! Kisi bhi
insaan ko jaankar koi nuksaan nahi pahuchaati hain. Par kuch insaan?! Fishing jaise khel k naam par
bichaari machhliyon ko pakadkar unhe unk ghar,parivaar se alag kar dete hain! Apne manoranjan
(entertainment) k liye unn nirdosh(innocent) machhliyon ki jaan le lete hain! Humein samajh nahi aata ki..
Machhliyon ne insaan ka kya bigaada hai? Aisaa kaunsa zeher ughla hai jo insaan unki jaan k peechhe
padh jaate hain?
Arnav: Relax Khushi!
Khushi: Isiliye humein fishing bilkul pasand nahi hai! Machhwaaron(fishermen) ki baat aur hoti hai.
Wohlog gareeb hote hain,unki majboori hoti hai tab hi wohlog machhliyon ko maarte hain. Par yeh
ameer log jo watersport k naam par machhliyon ko maarte hain,unn se humein sakht nafrat hai!
She sighs loudly before smiling in content.
Arnav: Tum smile kyun kar rahi ho?
Khushi: Kyunki aap unn logon me se nahi hain! Isiliye humne aapse shukriya kaha kyunki aap k
fishing na karne se,1 nirdosh machhli ki jaan bach jaayegi!
Arnav(cups her cheek): Tum bahut innocent ho,Khushi! Tumhe sach me aisaa lagtaa hai ki mere fishing
na karne se 1 machchli ki jaan bach jaayegi?
Khushi(confidently): Ha,bilkul bach jaayegi!
Arnav: Aisaa nahi hota hai! Trouville toh fishing k liye famous hai. Agar uss machhli ko main nahi
maarunga toh koi aur tourist aakar usse maarkar le jaayega.
Khushi(sadly): Matlab.. machhliyon ka marnaa toh.. tay hai,hai na?
Arnav: Unfortunately,haan..
It makes Khushi all the more sad than she already was.
Arnav: But that is how it is,Khushi. Hum uss baare me kuch nahi kar sakte hain.
Khushi nods in realization.
Arnav: But u know what? Tum iss tarah se sochti ho woh hi kaafi hai!(smiles) It shows that u're a very
kind person,jise machhliyon ki bhi parwaah hai!
He kisses the top of her head before patting her head.
Arnav: Mujhe pataa nahi tha ki tumhe fishes itni pasand hai varnaa main humare ghar k liye 1
aquarium lekar aata.
Khushi: Nahi,aap woh kabhi mat laiyyega!
Arnav(confused): Kyun? Aquarium me toh machhliyaan paani me hi rahengi na? Aur hum unhe
fish food bhi denge.
Khushi: Woh sab toh theek hai par aquarium waale bhi machhliyon ko nadi ya jheel se aise hi
uthaa laate hain. Toh.. machhliyaan apne ghar, parivaar se alag ho jaati hain. Hum apni khushi k liye
1 machhli ko apne ghar, parivaar se alag kyun karein bhalaa?
Arnav: Okay! Aquarium laane ka idea cancel!
Khushi(smiles): Haan!
Arnav: Ab tum so jao varnaa kal subha jaldi nahi uth paaogi.
Khushi: Theek hai. Goodnight!
Arnav pulls her closer to himself as he wishes her goodnight.

*The next morning*
Khushi(coming out of the bathroom): Suniye..
Arnav(approaching her): Boliye?
Khushi: Hum toh naha chuke. Ab aap jaakar naha lijiye.
Khushi removes the towel which was wrapped around her head,thus releasing the hitherto trapped
droplets of water alongwith her long,wet tresses.
A few drops splatter on Arnav's face who closes his eyes for a moment or so.
When he opens them,he's mesmerized by the way the wet locks framed his wife's freshly
scrubbed face,adding to her beauty.
Khushi gasps when a drop of water falls into her eye.
She is about to rub her eye when Arnav grabs hold of her raised hand.
Slightly shaking his head,he moves the guilty lock behind her ear before wiping her damp forehead
with his palm.
As if his gaze was not enough to burn the fire of desire within Khushi,his fingers add to the fire by igniting
her skin while wiping off the water.
Khushi immediately shifts her gaze to the floor,unable to bear the intensity of his burning gaze.
Arnav wordlessly takes the towel from her hands & throws it on the bed.
Khushi: Yeh.. kya kar rahe hain aap? Geela tauliya bistar par kyun phek diya?
Arnav combs her hair with his fingers while answering her question.
Arnav: Kyunki tumhe usski zaroorat nahi hai. Tumhare baal aise hi achchhe lagte hain!
Khushi: Aap bhi na! Sir geela chhodh denge toh humein sardi lag jaayegi.
She is about to fetch the towel when Arnav stops her by holding her hand.
Arnav: Sardi lag gayi toh jadibootiyon wala balm lagaa lena. Woh kaafi effective hota hai tumhare liye. Usse
lagaate hi tumhari sardi gaayab ho jaayegi!
Khushi(teases): Lagtaa hai aaj suraj pashchim(west) se nikla hai! Tab hi toh lard governer jadibootiyon waale
balm ki taareef kar rahe hain!
Arnav: Lagtaa hai tumne woh kahaavat nahi suni-Waqt aane par gadhe ko baap banaana padta hai! Toh yeh toh
jadibootiyon wala balm hai!
Khushi was about to admonish him when he silenced her by pulling her closer to himself.
Arnav: Agar usse lagaane par tumhari sardi theek ho jaayegi toh tumhe sardi ki tension nahi hogi. (leans even closer)
Aur agar tumhe tension nahi hogi toh tum apne baalon ko geela aur khulla rehne dogi! Aur..
Khushi(interrupts): Aur iss hi bahaane aapko romance karne ka mauka mil jaayega! Yeh hi naa?
She pushed him away before he could say anything.
Arnav: What the..!?
Khushi: Aapko yeh jaankar bahut dukh hoga ki hum aapk jhaanse(trap) me nahi aanewaale! Isiliye sharaafat se jaakar
naha lijiye.Tab tak hum baraamde me baithkar dhoop me baal sukhaa lete hain.
Arnav: U're sucha moodkiller,I tell u!
He storms off to the bathroom & slams the door loudly.

It was close to 2 pm when ArShi reached Trouville.
Khushi points to the signboard which read 'Bienvenue a' Trouville sur mer!'
Khushi: What does that mean?
Arnav: It means 'Welcome to Trouville!'
Khushi: What does sur mer mean/
Arnav: It means by the sea.
Khushi: Really? I thought sur mer means a.. town or something of that sort? Are we staying in
a hotel?
Arnav: U'll find out pretty soon!
Khushi did not ask anything after that.
*10 minutes later*
The taxi halted in front of a villa which overlooked the sea.

Instead of replying to his question,Khushi wrapped her arms tightly around him.
Arnav(rubs her back): Relax..
He kissed the back of her head before breaking the hug.
Arnav: Now tell me,what did u see in ur nightmare?
Khushi: My nightmare was a kind of.. replay of the events of this morning.
Arnav: I shouldve known!
He wrapped his arms protectively around her.

Khushi holds his hand before speaking.
Khushi: U know something? The last time I'd got so scared was when babuji had got a heart attack.

Arnav(pretends to be surprised): Really Khushiji?!
Khushi is unable to control her laughter upon seeing his face.
Khushi: Enough Arnavji!
Arnav(gets up): Thank u so much! U have no idea as to how happy I am with this decision of urs!
Khushi: Ur smile gave me a fair idea of ur happiness!(kisses his cheek) Nobody can beat u when it
comes to imitating someone!

He was about to kiss her when she stops him.

When she entered the room,she saw Arnav frowning deeply.
Khushi: What happened Arnavji?
Arnav: Nothing. I was jus'.. talkin' to Aman.
He took the cup of coffee from her hand.
Khushi: I heard that. What was Amanji saying? (concerned)Is anything wrong in ur office?
Arnav: No Khushi,everythin's fine. Its just that we're gettin' a great plot in Gulmarg. Its location,price,
area-everythin' about it is perfect!
Khushi: Thats a great thing! Then what is the problem?
Arnav: The problem is that.. Aman was sayin that if we dont finalize the deal at the earliest, we may
end up loosin the plot.
Khushi: In that case plz ask Amanji to go to Gulmarg at the earliest. Then he can finalize the deal!
Arnav: Khushi,Aman has no role to play in this! When I wanna buy the plot then I will hav to go there na?
Khushi(worried): Hey Devi Maiyya! so.. that means.. we'll hav to go to Gulmarg tomorrow,instead of going
to Paris?
Arnav: No Khushi! How can we go there?

besides,they'll be goin there in r chopper,not in some train or bus. So there's no need to worry bout the
distance! If they go to Gulmarg for a few days,they'll get a good break from their routine. And
secondly,the moment Aakash signs the papers,we'll get the plot!
Khushi: Where will they stay?
Arnav: Dont worry bout all that! I'll ask Aman to make the necessary arrangements.
Khushi: I guess u should ask jiji & jijaji before going ahead with it. May be they wouldnt want to go?
Arnav: What makes u say that?
Khushi: How can u be so sure that they'll want to go?

Arnav: So did Aakash!
Khushi: However,I didnt get 1 thing.
Arnav: And whats that?
Khushi: Why is babymoon known as.. babymoon?
Arnav: Coz a couple for their honeymoon alongwith the baby.
Khushi: How can a couple go for their honeymoon with their baby? I mean.. in that condition.. they..

Khushi: With u around,it wouldnt have been possible to restrict anyways!
Arnav(leans closer): What do u mean?

Arnav: Sailing,jetskiing,fishing,etc..
Khushi: U're interested in which of these?
Arnav: Only in jetskiing.
He tells her in detail about everything related to the sport.
Khushi: If u're so keen about it,then go ahead! But we'll only to go the beach after having breakfast.
Arnav: Certainly.
Khushi: And.. shukriya!
Arnav(frowns): For what?
Khushi: For not choosing fishing.
Arnav: I dont understand,Khushi. Why did u thank me for that?
Khushi: I'll tell u once u lie down on ur back.
Once Arnav lies down,Khushi places her head on his chest while placing her right arm around his
waist.
Arnav(arms around her): Ya,now tell me..

Arnav sighs while Khushi begins reciting the doha.

Khushi: So when a river dries up,those birds who would come to have water from it,fly over to some
other river.
Arnav: Obviously.
Khushi: But the fishes which were living in that river,die coz they dont have wings. So they cant fly
to another river.
Arnav: U mean to say that they dont hav any other option?
Khushi: Yeah. Meen means fish & deen means poor. So in this doha,Rahimji has compared fishes to the
poor & birds to the rich.
Arnav: Understood. In any situation,the rich hav many options whereas the poor do not hav even a single
option in most cases.
Khushi: hmm. Ever since I read this doha in school,it touched my heart. I'd felt bad not only for poor people,
like myself,but also for the fishes. Rivers,ponds,streams.. they're the home of the fishes.. where they live &
roam about at free will!.. where they dont harm anybody willingly,not even human beings! But what do some
human beings do? In the name of a sport like fishing,they capture fishes & separate them from their family & home!
They kill the innocent fishes for their entertainment! I dont understand.. in what way have the fishes harmed the
human beings? Which poison hav they released that the humans r after their life!?
Arnav: Relax Khushi!
Khushi: Thats y I absolutely despise fishing! Its a different matter altogether for the fishermen. They're poor &
they dont hav an option other than killing the fishes for their livelihood. But I hate such rich people who kill
fishes in the name of watersports!
She sighs loudly before smiling in content.
Arnav: Why r u smilin'?
Khushi: Coz I'm glad that u're not 1 of them! Thats y I thanked u. By deciding against fishing,u've saved the life
of an innocent fish!
Arnav(cups her cheek): U're very innocent,Khushi! Do U really think that if I dont go for fishin' then that'll save the
life of a fish?
Khushi(confidently): Ya,I do think so!
Arnav: It doesnt happen that way! Trouville is famous for its fishin'. If I dont kill that fish,then some other tourist
will kill it & hav it.
Khushi(sadly): U mean to say that.. the fishes will be killed for certain?
Arnav: Unfortunately,yes..
It makes Khushi all the more sad than she already was.
Arnav: But that is how it is,Khushi. We cant do anythin' bout it.
Khushi nods in realization.
Arnav: But u know what? The fact that u think like that is enough!(smiles) It shows that u're a very
kind person who cares even bout the fishes!
He kisses the top of her head before patting her head.
Arnav: I never knew that u were so fond of fishes! Else I would've got an aquarium for our house.
Khushi: No! Please dont get that!
Arnav(confused): Why not? The fishes stay in water when they're in the aquarium. And we'll also give them
fish food.
Khushi: All that is fine but those aquarium people take fishes from any river or pond just like that! So.. the fishes
r separated from their family & home. I dont want to separate a fish from its home & family for the sake of my
happiness.
Arnav: Okay! An aquarium will never b brought to our house!
Khushi(smiles): Yeah!
Arnav: Now,u better sleep or else u wont b able to get up early tomorrow morning.
Khushi: Okay. Goodnight!
Arnav pulls her closer to himself as he wishes her goodnight.

Khushi(coming out of the bathroom): Listen..
Arnav(approaching her): Yes,tell me?
Khushi: I'm through with my bath. Now its time u go for urs.
Khushi removes the towel which was wrapped around her head,thus releasing the hitherto trapped
droplets of water alongwith her long,wet tresses.
A few drops splatter on Arnav's face who closes his eyes for a moment or so.
When he opens them,he's mesmerized by the way the wet locks framed his wife's freshly
scrubbed face,adding to her beauty.
Khushi gasps when a drop of water falls into her eye.
She is about to rub her eye when Arnav grabs hold of her raised hand.
Slightly shaking his head,he moves the guilty lock behind her ear before wiping her damp forehead
with his palm.
As if his gaze was not enough to burn the fire of desire within Khushi,his fingers add to the fire by igniting
her skin while wiping off the water.
Khushi immediately shifts her gaze to the floor,unable to bear the intensity of his burning gaze.
Arnav wordlessly takes the towel from her hands & throws it on the bed.
Khushi: What.. r u doing? Why did u throw the damp towel on the bed?
Arnav combs her hair with his fingers while answering her question.
Arnav: Coz u dont need it. U look good when u're hair are wet!
Khushi: Come on! If I leave my hair wet,I'll catch a cold.
She is about to fetch the towel when Arnav stops her by holding her hand.
Arnav: In case u do catch a cold,u can apply ur favourite balm. Its quite effective on u. Ur cold will vanish as
soon as u'll apply it!
Khushi(teases): I guess the sun has risen from the west today! Thats y the lard governer is praising my jadibootiyon
waala balm!
Arnav: May be u've not heard the sayin'-Desparate times call for desparate measures!
Khushi was about to admonish him when he silenced her by pulling her closer to himself.
Arnav: If it helps u in recovering from ur cold,then u wont worry so much bout catchin' a cold. (leans even closer)
And if u wont worry bout it,u'll let ur hair be the way they r right now-wet & open! And..
Khushi(interrupts): And u'll get yet another excuse to indulge in some romance! Isnt it?
She pushed him away before he could say anything.
Arnav: What the..!?
Khushi: U'd be sad to know that I'm not going to fall for ur trap! So go & have ur bath like a good boy!
Meanwhile,I'll go to the verandah in order to sun dry my hair.
Arnav: U're sucha moodkiller,I tell u!
He storms off to the bathroom & slams the door loudly.
