Feel sorry for Laila in a way.. but that doesn't make their liaison anything more than 8 long yrs of one night stands. We don't even know if Rudra didn't do u know what with 100 other women when Laila was not there..
Laila is the one who says she never did with any1 else since he came to her life. Rudra never promised fidelity and for all we know while he was much younger and was posted everywhere for his job might (or most likely) have had enough one night stands with many other different women..

He was a single man, and for a single man there cannot be an other woman... So except in Laila's mind Paro is not the other woman in any other sense..

Rudra doesn't count what he has with Laila as a relationship in any meaningful way. If he did, he wouldn't have gone along so easily with the idea of a fake engagement or threatened marriage without a single thought for what Laila would think about it. The thought of Laila didn't enter his head ... hasn't entered it till now.

In that sense, Rudra is more the other man for Paro ... she feels far more strongly about her brief marriage than Rudra appears to feel about his eight year relationship. So both will enter this relationship with baggage from their past.
