Bade Achhe Lagte Hain to take a leap again; Saptrishi Ghosh to enter

With poor audience response and story line diverting from the main lead couple, television show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' suffered a great slump over the past few months. The show was in need of a bad revival big time!

To honor the need of revival and also curb the rumors about the show going off-air, the makers have once again decided to bring back the magical chemistry of Sakshi and Ram aka Priya and Ram on the show. Yes, for doing so, the production house has confirmed the storyline moving ahead with another six months time leap, wherein we, as an audience will witness Ram and Priya living in separation.

Priya will be shown working independently and leading a life away from domesticity, while Ram will be sad, yet egoistic about Priya's decision of leaving the home. This equation and situation is believed to once bring back and again focus on the mature love story that the on-screen duo had right at the start.

The show has already undergone several time leaps previously, but the focus shifted every time from Ram and Priya to the younger crowd on the show, which did not at all impress the audience. Bade Ache Lagte Hain' was a Priya and Ram show right from the start and every time the focus diverted, the audience translated their disappointment through the low TRP ratings.

The track currently is all about the new generation's love story, which the viewers are not finding any more thrilling. To revive the lost interest and the TVT ratings of the show, the storyline is going ahead with the time leap. The new storyline will witness a new story and some new characters, as demanded by the story.

If sources are to be believed, then Saptrishi Ghosh has been signed in to play the new negative character on the show with the name Rishi'. The actor has confirmed his presence and also his happiness for being associated with Balaji Telefilms.

The new storyline, which will have Priya working independently in an office, will show Saptarishi as her new boss. As per the rumors of Saptrishi in a negative role, this situation sounds quite fitting!

Considering the efforts of the makers and the signing of new characters for getting the story on track, we can feel a little optimistic about the show now. For the rest, let's just hope it doesn't fall flat like the previous time leaps and distress us once again. Plus, the show's success this time will also determine its extension period or a hike by TVT, which in turn will decide the future of the show.

We all love Priya and Ram and hence, the show, so we would love to see more of the show, that focuses on their chemistry.
