I believe this was in old times in today's generation he script is foremost look at chennai express ram leela n even small budget films like jolly llb they all have strong scripts
Moviemaking is a collaborative effort. Scripts can be legitimately changed for many reasons - for better flow and adaptability, for better audience connection, to fit the actor/actress and their skills better, to incorporate a really good impromptu idea. Changing scripts should be done legitimately and not on whims and fancies. People should understand that the script is someone's baby and changing it too much can be hurtful. At the same time script writers should be ready to receive feedback, changes and updates because sometimes it is in legitimate good interest. If scripts and scriptwriters are indeed being disrespected on whims then there needs to be a strong screen writers guild to protect their creative interests from egomaniacs.
