Didn't anybody judged hindus by judging Pri behavior or Virinda's behavior.
You have somehow seperated Sikhs from India by saying Gurpreet generalization will be Sikh girls and rest of the girls are Indians their generalization is Indian.
When I said Indian I thought Sikhs, hindus all are Indians but it seems you don't think so, I included myself in that India. It seems according to your view Gurpreet is Sikh thersfore her generalization is all sikh girls while and rest of the girls on show are Indians their generalization is Indians.

SIkhs hindus are all the same in India. Its the only tolerant country in the world, which has elected a Sikh Prime Minister and a Muslim President! This Speaks a lot about the country as whole!
You are confusing things and bringing in too many variables into your argument! Everyone here is talking about Gurpreet as an individual and not as a person belonging to any culture/caste/religion. Period.

@ bold.. do you even understand what I have written... please read it again. It is an example of what will be wrong. More like... "it will be wrong to judge all sikh girls on the basis of one sikh girl.. i.e. Gurpreet" just like you are judging whole India on the basis of few comments written here and a reality show.. if you don't understand this then there is no point of arguing further..
And stop putting words in my mouth... I never said anything about any religion..

Since you brought toleration and Sikh prime minister..I will remind you killing of Sikhs on streets of Delhi in 1984 and killing of muslims in Ahmedabad.
I think you read the post that says that making general statement about India would be same as making statement about Sikh girls..clearly Sikh girls are being thought diff than other Indian girls (meaning hindu girls are Indians ) Sikhs grils are just Sikh ..not India enough.

I don't really get this yaar... since when it became about the whole India and then Sikhs and Hindus and all.. I used that Sikh girls example to show how it will be wrong to judge whole community based on one girl's behavior on the show.. it's useless to argue further I guess 😕

I think april 2007 is crossing all limits, is this is venue to discuss sikh killings, muslim riots, or khalistaan, as she has so nicely mentioned in another post???????????? what do any of these have to do with this show???????? it seems like this member is completely anti-india, and cannot tolerate any indian views....

I am not judging whole India on basis of comments here...I am a student of Indian history and I have read many Indian book and have lived in India. I am judging based on what I have experienced and what I have seen and read.
Also Sikh and India are not different Sikh girls are also Indian girls and part of India on which I am commenting. India includes Sikhs..
I don't think you are alone in this thinking. it is general thinking that India = hindus..but when I say India I mean all Indians.
No offence I am just trying to clear a point..

You are totally wrong..
I love India more than you will ever do...but that doesn't mean that I am not aware of its faults. I love it despite its faults but I am not going to hide the faults and twist history.
