Making assumptions and taking digs at others is when lines are crossed. preach about the show but not about people's real life which u do not have a clue about.

I am working on the same issue so please, dont get all preachy that people who are commenting here do not make an effort to shape the world outside this forum or fiction. How do you know what contributions we make or not?

And, justifying child marriage is as bad as the ones involved in the crime.

Glad to know that you are working in real. In that case I hope you have enough sense to differentiate fiction from reality? Or are you among the ones who blame a girl for not dressing "properly", every time a guy gets provoked just by "seeing" her in shorts?

The recent episodes showed, ratan skipping school to help diya buy groceries. You see, ratan sa is a mature and responsible husband who believes in helping his wife. who needs school when you are already married at the age of 9
anyways, the show is mostly full of petty kitchen politics. writers cannot think of anything beyond that .

Again, there is a huge difference. If the argument of item songs are sexist and movies promote violence etc are deemes valid then the same equation applies to television whic caters to the entertainment needs of the whole country and has an impact much greater than movies.

Like when Ekta Kapoor was asked about the content of her movies being erotic etc and it cant bs watched with family. She said, "if i show something obscene and erotic on TV then IT IS MY FAULT, but we have trailers of movies showcasing the content, so even after watching the trailer you watcg it with family then it is not my fault."

She is admitting that it is her duty as the producer and director to keep the interests of ths viewers in mind.
Also, after the lip lock fiasco of BALH, she admitted that viewers didn't like it and she will not repeat that in her shows.

This part, I completely agree with.

Not to forget, filthy rich queen Diya doing chores like sorting out snack boxes with no one to assist 😆

Did you really give example of Ekta 😆

So does that imply that if a single guy gets provoked by "seeing" a girl in shorts than it's guy's fault however if multiple guys (mass reach) get provoked than it's girl's fault and she needs to dress responsibly or rather 'properly'? 😆

Let it be. Bottom line remains that irrespective of what one "sees", how they act or not act, is individual's personal choice.

How do you decide who is actually grown up and who is not? Grown ups can be mentally more immature than many young ones. Who will go around filtering anyone's mental age? No matter how much one tries, you cannot just put things in a standard frame.

About other things, they are being shown on TV day in and day out. And what you are calling as a small step is nothing.

GOT is full of much more messed up shit. Do not give me excuse that it's a historical series set in some fantasy land. Either talk right and wrong by putting everything in the equal ground or don't talk at all.</font>

Are you seriously kidding here?! I didn't want to comment as I also wish to stay clear of 'airheads' but this comment of yours totally made me gasp in disbelief. Infact your whole thinking process.

How do you decide who is actually grown up?
Well, in India the age for 'being grown up' is 18, duh. And you, being a pseudo liberal, may feel claustrophobic being bound by such age restrictions but you can't challenge the law now, can you? You can't call a 10 year old grown up and marry him, no matter how wise and mature he is. Why? Because it is a CRIME. Try doing it in real life and you will find your ass in jail.
Going by your logic, even a 5 year old kid with immense mental maturity is fit to have sex with a 60 year old. Now, you may find it appealing but that doesn't make it OK. I don't say so, INDIAN LAW says so. If you don't want to abide by it, by all means please go ahead and raise your voice against it- just like you are advising others to stop such deeds in real life.

And comparing this shit with GOT! Hahaha! I can't even... hahahaha!

Sex lmaooo..so you see where all the 'crime' aspect is coming from? It's the messed up dirty mentality of the likes of you to equate marriage with sex first thing. Can't blame you, you adapt what you see around you. Obviously if you look at it that way than it becomes a crime. But sorry to burst your bubble, not everyone equates marriage to sex. It's million more things before sex.

You are right though, this can't be and is not being compared to GOT. That show is as effed up as any show can get. This show doesn't even come close so relax

First lack of sense to differentiate between real and fiction and next to put a standard self defined meaning to every relation just leaves me with no reason to discuss anything with the likes of you.

fiction is fiction, we are not supposed to take it seriously or equate it reality. however, it is not insensitive to portray child marriage as something beautiful, considering how opposite the reality is? some young girl's childhood was snatched away due to being married to an older man, she was most likely raped as well. but still, it is ok to show this so-called marriage as a beautiful cute relationship? if we talk about the reality, then automatically "it is fictional entertainment" defense is thrown at us.

if that's so, then when serials show girls falling for the same man who shoves them around then that is also "just fictional entertainment" correct? let's completely ignore the fact, in reality, girls never find happiness in abusive relationships and they mostly end up in the hospital.
