People have misused it in past but we r tackling it very well. Yes there r some sad cases but change is happening. But coming from. An American. Yes I understand difference between fiction and reality. But fiction is set in modern times and it is a crime and there is no justifications for it. There is a state in America., Where woman cant abort a kid without rapists permission. A progressive nation!A new law passed in Arkansas means women must obtain permission from the man who impregnated them before they can have an abortion.Even in the case of rape, women wishing to terminate a pregnancy would have to seek the opinion of their attacker or abusive partner who would be able to refuse and potentially block the procedure. The bill, which was signed into law in March and is set to come into force at the end of July, includes aborted foetuses in a rule stating family members must agree on what to do with the remains of their dead relatives.

Depending on intent and situation (also depending on fiction or reality), it's wrong like teenage pregnancy, incest relation, extramarital affairs, infidelity, divorce and many more things which are and will be very much prevalent in our 'progressive' society to increasing rate.

this I agree with. the story was not the main problem, the execution however was a mess.

so a 9 year old getting married to an adult is on the same level as infidelity, incest and divorce? two of which are mostly carried out by adults with a questionable moral compass. One which is and unfortunate part of marriage, but better in the long run. then teen pregnancy, which mostly occurs to due a lack of education regarding safe sex or simple irresponsibility.

Don't you think it'll be wrong and inaccurate if I give one standard, generalized answer about who all are happy and who all aren't about what practices, for these many people?Edit: Not every practice is being practicedblindly either. Youth lol, every generation will come with it's own set of ideas and beliefs..some will be rebellious and some will be conservative. Some would want to follow it and some wouldn't. Youths will not do everything that's right and everything that's wrong. There's a bigger picture.

Not a crime in general? What does that even mean?
Every heard about the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act of 2006?
A crime is a crime and there is nothing situational about it. Whatever is in the law has to be followed. A killing of person can be sityation i. E. It can be ingentional or not. But, again all tbose nuances have been mentioned under the law specifically. So, i dont see much merit in your point.
