waneeka u had a narrow escape and i fully know the difficulty urmom is going thru learning driving at this age dear . Support her as much as u can .

am glad all u wonderful moms had a great day..i called my ma up to wish her and she says she wants a gift instead of plain wishes..kehti hain, doctor beti ka kya matlab if i dnt gift her diamonds..LOL..my father was laughing his head off hearing this convo..and started preparing HIS list for father's day gifts also..finally, am like, please dnt drive me bankrupt already, i JUST started earning..but i wish i cud go home to her and spend the day wid her instead of only wishing on fone..miss my Ma terribly..its pros and cons of being the only child..her world begins and ends on me..my best friend, agony aunt, taskmaster,,she is everything..

Would you believe that on the Arvi facebook for Mother's Day, a Picture of Archana and Purvi is posted only.😲

I felt sick when I saw it. Are they saying that only Purvi is Archana's child?

Who would post something like that? What sort of message is that?

That is so sad..can they stoop any lower than that?

You want to tell me, that after Archana allowed her children to be away from her so long without fighting for them, she is applauded for only being the Mother of Purvi???? Seriously?

I knew that is the main reason Arvi is celebrated because only Purvi seems to deserve happiness as she is considered Archana's favourite daughter, but to actually see this on Mother's Day makes me really see it as a bigger message than I thought. 😲

Wow, it says a lot about how Motherhood is seen. Very disturbing!!!!

Hilly it's the Arvi FB page is it? That explains it all!

What I have come to understand is that Purvi deserves all the happiness in the world and everyone else does not. Purvi should never be scolded by Archana, Manav, Sulo, Savita, or anyone for that matter because she is the righteous sanskaari ladli of all. Anyone who is against Purvi, like Manav, Savita, etc. deserve to be hanged based on what I have come to read around the forum. But if Manav blasts Ovi, Arjun slaps Ovi publically - they are applauded because it's Bad Ovi after all and she doesn't deserve anything good.

Even after Ovi and Teju accepted Archana and got her in their lives, Archana gives way more importance to Purvi. Purvi is her jaan, her everything while all the rest don't get their mother's full love, attention, and affection. If Archana gives a shred of attention and love to Ovi, then she's giving step-treatment to Purvi and making her a parayi. Give me a break ! The world does not revolve around a silly foolish child who ruins others lives under the pretense of doing well for others.

I can't stand Archana anymore ...i can humorously critique everything but a partial vicious mother . She roots for Purvi coz of ego ...Purvi is HER parvarish . Its narcisssim at its best . The most ridiculous expectation is

Manav should love Purvi who came in his life a year ago [ forced] more than his bio child Ovi who he raised since she was a baby and keep on shelling out money for her although she has done satyanash of his daughter's life [ i don't know what i would do if my father did that ...loved a girl he barely knows more than me , see how it SOUNDS.]

Archana it seems has the RIGHT to get up from her beauty sleep and blast the Deshmukhs for their supposed ill treatment of Purvi . They should LOVE the baggage she brought along with her although the baggage has WRECKED the family following her footsteps , she had WRECKED the family 18 yrs ago by doing a false case on the son of that family . They should welcome her liability with LOVE and go on doing things for her , put her in the will , buy properties for her daughter in Lonavla , suppress her kaands by paying lakhs of rupees to Mittal . They should not care for their own , they should become financially naked for Purvi and accept blastings from Archana meekly .

Kools when you put it like that (your father loving a girl he barely knows more than you) it does seem so hurtful, offending, and can even make a person feel inferior. This is what Purvi does to Ovi. Everyone who praises Purvi and makes Ovi seem like the wrong one makes her feel worthless. That is why she told Archana that her friends don't expect her to be something she's not (like Arjun and Archana expect her to be). She feels acceptance among her friends that she doesn't feel from her family. Heck, her own twin has become so buddy-buddy with Purvi that she doesn't give a fig for Ovi and Teju seems way too self-absorbed with her own love story. That's a contrast to Ovi who felt sympathy and sadness for Purvi thinking that Purvi's child died and even told her that she can be a part of Pari's life.

And I saw the thread regarding Purvi's backless blouses. I am not concerned with what she wears or doesn't wear, she could run buck naked for all I care but I detest her more for her actions then what she's wearing. I loathe the character of Purvi for what she pretends to be and what she really is.

Excellent Posts Kools and Anu👏

For the first time, I feel this story like real, when I saw the Pic of Archana and Purvi, and I feel so sad, compounded by what you just said Kools. Could I handle my Father loving some girl he barely knew more than me, especially a girl who got my Mother's love and I didn't. No fault of my own.

Even though Ovi came in front of Archana, she still could not feel love for her. Yes, I can't stand Archana any more either. She is a Mother, that no child should be cursed with.

Instead of forcing Purvi on Manav, she could have focused on showing love to her real children. No all she cared about was giving Purvi a Father. What a partial and vicious Mother in deed.

😡🤬

Yet Ovi is despised over a stupid boy and called spoilt, No money in the world handed down to you can suffice for not having a Mother. How can Ovi be better off than Purvi.,,,,😡
