Even if Ovi takes him back and they have their own kids along with Pari, her love for Pari vs their own kids will be always put under scrutiny...Ovi can never have that peace and always have to prove...So why go thru the hell...While she could have a fresh start without any baggage from either partners..

Varsha, it is totally Ovi's call whether she wants to go back to Arjun or not. The ball is in her court entirely. He should know that too.

Ovi has finally freed Arjun to pursue higher learning with Purvi, so what is the issue here? Ovi only had Arjun for a year, and she lost their baby, there is nothing stopping Prince Arjun from starting anew with his Purvi. Only a simple year. If Purvi's love was that strong she would go back to Arjun and live with him and their Pari. So wait and watch.

I expected confidence from those who believe in these two who are meant for each other.
I think it is time now Ovi, gets a break, one year is not a long time, to play second fiddle.
Ovi has moved on. Arjun needs to go to Purvi and ask her to come back to him and Pari.

I am bored with this trio story. I want some new story lines, Ovi modelling, new guy eventually. I want to see Teju break a heart or two. Sachin's new love interest etc. etc.
Nice girl for Soham, how about Soham going to school.

I totally agree with the @ blue especially the Soham going to school part.

She was her furious self when she came to Manav and Archana lived under the same roof during their divorce phase and she openly confronted her Dad and told him in no clear terms that she hates him making up with 'that woman'. She did not go around and make some useless deals with the information nor her relations. If only Ovi had listened to Teju many a times when she was asking her about Arjun's feelings towards her and Purvi is not in the picture then.
I would tend to think Tej would have a much bigger influence on Ovi in near future. If the articles about Sunny and Jignesh are true, she choosing to leave Sunny because of Sunny-Ruchi matter would drive the point home to Ovi that what she should have made a similar decision. Ovi is someone who only understands through examples she across life. Onir was the one who showed her that you could love someone irrespective of their past love life and Tej could complete her education on how letting go of someone who does not belong to you. This would make Ovi be in complete peace with her past and she would start seeing herself and Arjun in a new light that might make the reconcilation possible.
Well, I hope so.

I too hope that the two couples move on happily, together would be preferable but if Ovi wants to leave Arjun there is nothing that can be done, sad she couldn't have come to this realization earlier then Arjun's life would not have ended in this mess. But my hope is that this is just starting trouble and that the two will be able to build a strong marriage together.

Excellent post, I loved every word abt manav and Ovi. I'm not surprised with manav's hypocratic words patha chala ki ovi ka shaadi kokhla hain" Doesn't he know abt the shameless deal his daughter had made to get her"Fav Toy"?? He would have broken the marriage but he didn't. He was not bothered to utter a word to purvi or lend her fatherly support But happily throwed reception. Then why he is being rude to DK for the mess his Darling daughter has started?? For Ovi, I have no words to say, but If it was her love not obsession for Arjun she would have accepted Pari easily, after all its A's blood...the man she claims to love. When she didn't had a problem marrying the man who openly proclaimed love for someone else, what's a big deal in raising his love child...I so wished Arjun to show mirror to D clan for the bashans he got, poor guy need to learn dealing with life

Totally Agree!
If Ovi had really loved Arjun, she wouldn't have had issues with Pari, in some time.

Also, it was Ovi who chose the party venue to disclose the truth, though she knew about the truth for atleast a day.
In the party, in front of everyone, she even says, "Arjun,Purvi why don't you guys get together now", completely ignoring the fact that there is Onir who is married to Purvi. By that, she not just got her venom out on Arjun-Purvi, but also humiliated Onir, without giving a thought to how selfless he is.

Archis, if I were Arjun I would have long left both the girls. But currently, he seems to want to save his "Parivar" hence the hope their marriage survives. Ovi has always wanted him even when he belonged to another. So while it would be good if they could make it work, on second thoughts, he is probably better off raising Pari on his own that way he can never be faulted with loving Pari more than Ovi's babies just as Ovi will never have to be put to the test of whether she can love Pari just as much as she loves her own babies.

I thought that was crude "why don't you get together now".

Ah, but bee, you forget that from her point of view, he is the man who, after saying all those very sweet things to her about his being like her brother, disposed of her dead child like a piece of unwanted rubbish, and hid that from her. Why on earth would she admire him for his selflessness? What selflessness? Tending to the poor in Kolkata? And for that she should forgive him the terrible wrong he did her?Have a heart!

I am very, very fond of Onir, but here he is squarely in the wrong, and all because of his dangerous obsession with keeping his mishti happy, which overrides his commonsense and his professional ethics both.

As for Ovi exposing all this at the party, apart from the fact that this is mandatory in PR, she is tipsy. And why is she tipsy? Because she sees Arjun and Purvi whispering to each other; she then sets down the orange juice and picks up the vodka.,

As for venting her venom on Arjun and Purvi in public, why not? They had no shame having that gandharva vivah in that dirty shack, an d producing this child that becomes the apple of Arjun's eye as soon as he learns it is Purvi's. So why be ashamed of acknowledging their amar prem in public now? As for her asking them to get together again, she then believes that their affair is post his marriage and is still ongoing, so why would she not say that?

As for "
If Ovi had really loved Arjun, she wouldn't have had issues with Pari, in some time", who are we to say that? I am not at all sure I would, in my youth, have been able to accept such a situation. If you are sure you could have, that is another thing. This has nothing to do with Ovi having loved Arjun. Just because one loves a man, it does not follow that one has to accept the love child he has fathered with his (not even ex) beloved. Not in my book at least.

Dear Vasu,

Spot on with the highlighted part. I had developed this further in a post to Janhvi, but the IF swallowed that, and I simply did not have the energy to do it again. You have brought out the core idea of my post with admirable succintness. Thank you.
