Suhana Khan, who is all set to step into Bollywood with her much-anticipated debut in King, has suddenly found herself in an unexpected legal mess. The young starlet, daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has landed in headlines not for her film but for a controversial land deal in Alibaug that has now come under the scanner.

According to reports, Suhana purchased a prime piece of land in Thal village, Alibaug, for around Rs 12.91 crore. The plot, however, wasn’t an ordinary buy; it was originally allotted by the government to local farmers strictly for agricultural use. The land had been inherited by three sisters from their parents, from whom Suhana purchased it. She even paid a hefty stamp duty of Rs 77.46 lakh while registering the deal. Interestingly, the documents at the time of purchase listed Suhana as a farmer, raising further eyebrows.

The case came to light when authorities began reviewing land ownership and its use in the region. The Resident Deputy Collector has now ordered an inquiry and asked the Alibaug Tehsildar for a detailed and unbiased report. The registration papers reveal that the property was bought under Deja Vu Farm Pvt Ltd., a company linked to Suhana’s grandmother and aunt.

This isn’t Suhana’s only investment in Alibaug. Within a year, she reportedly purchased another beachfront property worth Rs 10 crore. The interest in the area isn’t surprising, considering Shah Rukh Khan himself owns a sprawling estate called Deja Vu Farms, spread across nearly 20,000 square meters. For years, it has been a favorite weekend retreat for the Khan family, often hosting close friends and parties away from the city buzz.

While the legal probe is still in its early stages, the controversy has added an unexpected twist to Suhana’s journey just as her acting career is about to take flight. Her big-screen debut King, directed by Siddharth Anand, is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie will see her share screen space with her father Shah Rukh Khan, along with Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Abhay Verma. For now, fans are watching closely to see how this land deal episode unfolds.
