What Ovi wants is what Ovi should get (the formula has never changed). If she wants to stay back with Arjun, she will have to accept Pari, he is going nowhere without his baby. The premise still is that "if" she loved him enough to take him when he loved another, she maybe loves him enough to forgive him now. If she doesn't, it is her prerogative, she does not have to stay with him and take care of another woman's child. As you say, she is young and can make a fresh start with someone else.

It is not Ovi who humiliated Onir . Onir humiliated her by making a mockery of her feelings as a mother .

She was too distraught with grief even to press charges against him . The charges were pressed ultimately by Mittal .

I would say she went very very soft on him .

His humiliation has been done by his wife . She suggested he do a medical crime for her . And the hand cuffs that will fall on his wrists are her kripa .

His humiliation is also coz he did not use his good sense and listened to her ...his own karma . Neither did Ovi press charges neither did she suggest a crime to him .

She sat on it for one day and this is being held against her . She was expecting and expecting her husband to still come clean . Ultimately when she saw the husband hobnobbing with the ex even in the anniversary party she snapped and this is held against her ?

The party venue in my opinion was too small as a public place , the best would have been a public square , preferably in front of Sulochana's house where she should have screamed out the Kaand Trio's deeds . And the chawl people should have heard it and taunted Sulochana and Purvi for the rest of her life for destroying her own sister's marraige till Sulochana had to change residence .

There are no expectations from Ovi at all, she is free to do as she pleases, stay with Arjun, leave Arjun. She was not an ideal expectant mother, she was not, at least initially, an ideal wife, so nothing wrong in pointing that out. Does not mean that just because she behaved like that in the past, that she has to or will in the future. She did show great leaps in maturity before the baby truth was revealed, she was growing up.

As Pari pointed out, here is an opportunity for all the characters to save face and move forward positively. If Ovi chooses to break free and set Arjun free from her hold, so be it, alas, if only she had this sense earlier. But never too late as you point out for Arjun and Ovi to make amends, together or go their separate ways. Purvi is married to Onir and for Ovi to expect Purvi to drop Onir like a hot potato is not kosher. As for Purvi leaving with Pari, I am sure she would have been knocked to hell and back if she had done that because there would have been the assumption that Ovi was talking in the momentary grip of her grief and how dare Purvi take away Pari from her. Initially when Ovi ignored Pari's crying and later talked to her in the cradle, there was talk in the forum that Ovi was large hearted enough to love Pari despite Pari not being her own, and there was also talk that Ovi should take Pari and take flight to Canada divorcing Arjun and leaving him to stew in his own mess. The expectation of her being a mother to Pari comes from those prior arguments and discussions posed in the forum.

I still say if Ovi is not upto raising some other woman's child, no worries, she should opt out now instead of staying put and brewing over past galtis and proceeding to make Arjun's and Pari's life miserable in addition to her own.

So Janhvi, my dear, how has Ovi regressed in her 'maturity' index after the truth was revealed. What could you have done yourself after knowing that the child you believed your all along was someone else given to her by dhoka, and that child is the illegitimate love child of her hubby and her adopted sister, and the hubby, btw, still have hots for his Saali. What should she have done to please you and give ovi the prized title of 'ideal mother"…
