As for all the Arjun-bashers in this forum, if they could get such a paragon as a damaad, I would like to see who would not jump at it. I only have a son, but if I had a daughter, I would have done an Olympic standard high jump for him!

Shyamala

hahahaha.. shyamala.. I can jump, But Arjun can only expect Goodness in Heart from her not "Sanskaar/Parvarish/Izzat", overrated stuff for her.. You never know, Arjun kinda guy may change that.

I am going to preface this post by saying that anything can change at any moment according to the CVs whims and sometimes with a little nudge from the fans so really anything is possible.

I know everyone is upset with Purvi because of her lack of willingness to meet Arjun ' even if it's just a quick dine and dash (not the literal meaning of course) but I'm not upset with her and I think she's staying the course.

*** Laurie runs and ducks for cover. 🤣 Ok. I see this won't be an easy feat today but I'm not giving up either.***

Her behaviour maybe puzzling to some - hot one minute and frigid the next - but there's always a reason behind what we do. Let's review Purvi's dossier, shall we? 🤓

  • Archana took in (adopted) Purvi after she was orphaned and raised her like her own daughter after her children went to Canada. (The debt of a mother's love)
  • All Purvi's values and upbringing were instilled by Archana who we know to be a champion of disadvantaged and an advocate of the truth (we are not going into Archana's Deshmukh life here - that's for another post)
  • Until Arjun came into her life, Purvi has never disobeyed her mother and was always the dutiful daughter.
  • Even after Arjun came into the picture and gave Purvi such scorching treatment, Purvi stood her ground and fought him valiantly because it was the right thing to do (she also had her mother's support)
  • Purvi's 'chawl mentality' taught her (whether from her observation or Karanjkar ninja training) that falling in love was never an option for her. She was supposed to have an arranged marriage and then her life would be her children and husband - no mention of love or feelings.
  • Her mother's and aaji's feelings and well-being always comes first - bar none.

Now that Purvi has accepted Arjun's hand and made the choice to be with him what's changed? 🤔

  • The woman that took her in and raised her slapped her - very violently - three times for breaking her trust
  • Her mother has forbidden her to meet the man that is fighting the world to be with her - the man she also loves (we have not seen the depth of her love YET)
  • She is jobless at the moment. She tried to be professional and leave her job (the right thing to do) but now can't get a job because she can't reveal the reason she left.
  • She is trying to help Arjun through 'undetected ways' - via Churran ⭐️
  • She knows her love is suffering and she IS praying for him 👏
  • She even worked up the courage to tell her mother belatedly that what she was doing to Arjun was wrong - that took guts - however softly spoken. 👍🏼
  • She wants her mother's trust back and will do whatever she is told to get there. She's never been in this position before and with the other pressures her mother is going through she neither wants to add to it nor rock the boat.
  • She has the support of her aaji (A blessing from the heavens) and only through her insistence will possibly meet Arjun directly (disobeying Archana's orders)

So what now? 😕

  • Purvi wants her mother to be ok with her loving Arjun. They haven't had that heart to heart yet. Archana never gave her the chance to explain herself or to express her feelings. Archana does NOT know of the sacrifices Purvi's had to make to get to this point.
  • Once Archana has given Purvi her blessing that Arjun is a good boy then all bets are off.
  • Purvi does love Arjun, fiercely, and will defend him in front of anyone. She will not stand by and watch his character get tarnished. ⭐️

And this maybe the most important point of all...

Arjun doesn't care. He doesn't care if Purvi brings him hot tea or three meals a day. He doesn't care if she washes his clothes or cleans his room - only if she fixes his shirt buttons 😉 . He doesn't care if she comes to meet him at the garage because HE is on a mission. It would be a bonus but not a necessity.

He already knows Purvi is with him through thick and thin - they gave their hearts and souls to each other on that little bridge of happiness. He already KNOWS he has her support and anything else she does is just a bonus. HE doesn't want her to disobey her mother and get in trouble because he knows how important Archana is to Purvi and as he so sugarly put it the other day - he's never had a mother - and he is craving that love too.

He wants to be part of a family - not break one up - so he will support Purvi obeying her mother until Archana gives her consent. 👍🏼

All frustrations aside, we can't expect a complete defiant change in Purvi because it's not in her nature. She loves Arjun, she's accepted him, she's supporting him and the rest will be like icing on the monsoon wedding cake once Archana gives them her blessing. 😍

It's coming soon, friends, very soon - just hang in there! 👍🏼

*** Is it safe to come out now? I'm getting kinda hungry *** 🤣

hey dat was a great post d way u have explaind all d situations of purvi r excellent, dere r many less ppl in d forum who come wid such bang-on post so 1st of all i credit u 4 such an awesome post.

talking abt purvi's conundrum so u r ryt we have to wait, she'll definetly get d icing on d monsoon wedding cake soon. Arvi's love is so pure & selfless so it'll succeed 4 sure !!😊

I have a few comments about this maha episode that we had today. I know this is not the right thread but i didnt want to post on the generic threads, so here I am.
1) I am going to skip half of the episode with the D-family. I neither have the interest nor the inclination to go thru that tired old drama. But was glad to see Archana found her voice atleast for once.
2) for today, looks like the Ice Queen is thawing towards our boy. But, have to watch and see what she does from tomorrow. So reserving my judgements on that.
3) The main thing that bothered me today, rather raised my hackles for Arjun, was Manav. First of all, didnt get why he asked Arjun, why he was there? Why was Manav there? To support his girl, so the same goes for Arjun too. Anyway, that didnt bother me as such. BUT, the look he gave Arjun after he told the doctor that he would take care of the bills. It was very small of him. He was saying indirectly that, look i can do this but u cant. The look on Arjun's face after that and the way he quietly walked away touched me very deeply. The way Archana reacted, initially happy that Manav was taking charge but immediately was thinking of Arjun and watched him, and felt for him, was very well done. Good job, Ankita. But, i sure wanted to smack Manav though !!! I dont know if any of you understood the scene that way, but i felt as such.
4) I think the last note of money that Arjun held for a while is the 50 rupee note that DK gave him. I dont think he was holding on because it is the last note he has, it probably is, but more because it had a sentiment to it.

Now, got to get the lad out of jail. DK, am sure is out of town or even country as he is the only one left working there. The logical solution is that the garage owner clear Arjun, but there ia no drama in that. So, have to see how that will go. Probably, somehow Archana would be instrumental in his release.

Poor Arjun, dont know when he is gonna get a break from all this and can go back to his life.

You know what else is strange today..everyone on the forum are discussing the part that I totally omitted - the D family drama. Dont see many comments on Arjun's current plight or even the innate goodness that he displayed today. We are indded a minority, Shyamala !!!!

Arjun stole my heart again today with his kindness and the way he commanded the situation 👏

I agree with your post Joythi especially the part in bold. I think it was the money that DK gave him that was separate. He used it to buy Sulo's medicine.

He even gave me a glimpse of 'Arjun Kirloskar' although it was out of frustration 😉

I felt Purvi's anguish when Manav came there and my heart went out to her too. When Arjun placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her and Archana was shooting daggers at them I got upset. At least let the boy console her 😭

Archana, this is what you want in a guy. Someone who will take charge and manage the situation. Arjun didn't falter and, even more so today, he's aces in my book! 👍🏼

Dear Jyoti,

I am with you 100% on all that you have said about Manav. He hates Arjun now, and given this, his behaviour is predictable.

I had not spotted that the note that Arjun takes out of an inner pocket was a Rs.50/- note.Of course it must have been the one DK gave him, and he must have been holding on to it for sentimental reasons. He was almost crying when he took it from DK, poor boy. It was very clever of you to have noted that.

As for the body in the boot, it should NOT be taken lightly at all. It has all the potential to be a very serious matter, especially if what the cops take out of the boot is what Sam Spade would call a stiff. There is no bail on a murder charge, Jyoti, and the circumstantial evidence can be very tricky.

DK will have to take charge at once, and if he is not in town, Purvi will get him. There is very little chance of the garage owner's testimony alone clearing him, and none at all of Archana being of any help. Why, she was not there when Arjun arrived at the hospital, and her evidence would be of no use except to provide Arjun with a partial alibi, from the time she saw him in the corridor till the time he left the hospital, but not for the period before that.

Arjun will need a top flight criminal lawyer, and that means plenty of money will be needed. I foresee a dramatic court trial with Arjun in the dock, to boost the viewership. Manav might even rejoice at the developments. It remains to be seen what Archana does. I hope Purvi summons up the courage to go and see Arjun in the police lock up. Ovi will be there every day for sure.

I have done a separate post on The Mystery of the Body in the Boot. It might be of interest to you.

Shyamala

@Jyothi, Today All actors did a good job esp. Anki & RD.. Bolded Blue part, watched like 4 times.. The part u have mentioned, Ankita has done very well.. The way Arjun said to Purvi.. Please dont cry..cant see you in tears..and the look on Purvi, Arjun's face when Manav asked Arjun "Why r u here" was very good. @Laurie.. the pink part..I had a wide smile while watchign and said to myself "ha Arjun made Laurie's day, she doesnt need anymore fun this weekend"..I enjoyed it too.. CVs..give us back our original Arjun.
@Shyamala.. I read your other post.. I did mention this in some other post.. the Valet parking guy(or security) and "I am Arjun Kirloskar" has something to do with the guy in the trunk.. Either the tied up or dead guy was already in the car while the car was in the garage (coz Arjun need not open the trunk to fix loose spark plug & he also has all the tools)
Or
The guy was stuffed in the trunk while it was in the Hospital parking lot.
I am leaning towards 2nd option.
