Purvi has the right to slap arjun. Why not? If i were Purvi..i did the same thing.
I wish Ovi gives arjun a slap too.
Arjun is wrong to both Ovi and Purvi.
Neither Purvi nor Ovi are wrong.
Arjun is the only one to blame for the whole drama.
Believe it or not.

So i read all of ur coments many of u thot it ryt while elase thot it wrong.

But i wud say dat guys , especialy if u r a gal den try 2 place urslf in purvi's situation, try 2 feel once d series of insults & pains she has been getting as pointed by hr in d epis. 1st.Broken engagement 2nd.MMS

& finaly wen she came out of both dis coz of Arjun's luv entering in hr lyf she was again ditched.

hw hlpless she mst b feeling now .

u say she was wrong 2 slap Arjun so wat u think hw she wud hav behaved simply creid in cornrs 4 Arjun & widout any anguish asked him politely dat Mr.kirloskar y did y ditch me??

Sipokobusak, you said it right, both girls are not wrong at least from what we have seen so far.

Varsha, no one is blaming Ovi, this is not a comparison of Purvi and Ovi at all. Just reiterating that hopefully when we get to see more of Ovi she turns out to be nice.

I have no qualms about Ovi dressing up, being a model, being rich, etc. At least my post made no mention of those things as I don't think they are of any import in matters of the heart and should not play a part in how one's character is judged. Barbie Doll is the name given to her by Tej not by us. Being a Purvi fan does not make one an Ovi hater.

What Ovi will feel when Arjun ditches her if the story proceeds as predicted is going to be earth shattering to her. But as pointed out in the earlier posts, unfortunately for Ovi, Arjun doesn't love her. If he did, there would be no love triangle happening.

On the flip side just because Arjun doesn't love Ovi but loves Purvi doesn't make Purvi bad.

See, this is and indian daily soap and here u cnt xpect the right one to give ny xplanation or to give a chance...tht ws well xpected...and as far as purvi is concerned, she ws so deeply hurt and schocked, she ws nt in a state of hearin nything...Atlast she evn said arjun, tht she dosent who's right and wrong..

Arjun's love of 2 wks, Purvi's love of 2 days is real where Ovi's love for many yrs is not love in the first place? 😲 By who's standards or judgement? How can you belittle Ovi's love for Arjun 😕 Just because it might be one sided means that is not real? I feel this kind of lopsided comments are unfair..

now today.. she was not able to see Arjun's pain and his despair..even when she was clinging on to him.. she did not recognize his restlessness,,,,, if she genuinely loved him,, his expression would definitely trigger her heart and she would have asked him... she is still a kid ,, i don't really think she loves him.. in fact, she is in love with the idea of being in love...

If Ovi's love is not real and its just she loves being in love than I can say the same abt Arjun and Purvi's so called love...May be infatuation or Uphoria of liking someone...Which will wear off once they both realize it was short felt...Its a comeback to your post...I never under estimate anyone's love..But as u r, So am I 😃
but when she truly loves a guy,... she will realize what her feelings were for Arjun.. it is a matter of time ...

Same for Purvi once she realizes Ovi has been in love with Arjun, and Arjun and Ovi has been friends for ever, she might feel they belong and she will move on..Just a matter of time...1 day love can heal much faster than a long term one indeed...😉😛
but for Purvi.. and Arjun it would be a life long distress...if they do not get back together😊

Same for Ovi it will be a life long pain of losing her first love...Be it reciprocated or one sided...Love is love and it hurts...She might be the mature one here in letting go Arjun as she truly loves him...

respect your views and i think we will have this agree to disagree when we take sides.. so it will go on as long as the serial is aired..

it is all about perception .. as what and how you perceive things..and each individual's perception is different so we shall always have difference of opinions which keep the discussions to go on...😊

This is not a valid controversy. Purvi has gone thru hell during the party, and watched the man who was promising her eternal togetherness just minutes earlier, get betrothed to another girl, and she probably feels as if the sky had fallen on her head. On top of all this, she cannot even get away and weep her heart out in peace, but has to listen to Ovi's gushing about Arjun and her 'childhood' love for him, and pose for the photo on top of everything else.

Then there is the other track - the fact that Archana and her aaji both kept from her the fact that Tej was Archana's daughter. She feels betrayed by all her 'apne', and what she says about Arjun is the saddest of all, that he has now taken away from her every happy memory of her love for him. She feels abandoned and let down by all those she loves, and there seems to be darkness everywhere.

Under these circumstances, what do you expect her to do? Arjun is the one who has hurt her the most, and he is the only one at hand, so she vents all her fury on him. I do not see what is wrong with her slapping him - it is a catharsis of sorts, and has nothing to do with her loving him. It just shows that Purvi is hot blooded and quick to anger, and not a silent sufferer, that is all. But then we knew this already; she is quite aggressive whenever there is a spat, and this is the mother of all spats! Arjun sees the slap for what it is and does not give it a second thought.

Nor does Purvi mean what she says when she accuses Arjun of not loving her and never having intended to talk to his father. She knows that what she says is not true, but in the white heat of anger, she says it anyway. By the time she is home, she is no longer questioning his love, when she says that one daughter cannot selfishly ruin the happiness of another daughter (of Archana's). She is here obviously taking it for granted that Arjun loves her and, left to himself, will marry only her.

On a lighter note, I was rather impressed with the slap. Excellent technique: a nice swing and follow through, and bang on target! The sound effects were perfect as well. It would have been messy if she had ended up hitting his nose and making it bleed. But that might have been nice too, for one can bet that she would have forgotten all her rage in her haste to stanch the bleeding and patch him up!

In fact the best tactic for Arjun now would be to have a neatly calibrated accident, not fatal of course, or permanently damaging, but with enough of blood and bandages. In the ICU, it would work wonders!

Loveanime, I agree completely with you, and the quotation from HH the Dalai Lama (whom I had the great privilege of looking after in the early 1990s, when I was in the Ministry of External Affairs , which takes care of all his affairs in India, and in particular his security) sums up perfectly what you wanted to say.

Ovi is shallow and self-centred, and she totally lacks the quick empathy for others that Teju has. Even Manav can spot Arjun's restlessness but she cannot. Any girl who loves a man can sense it very easily when something is this wrong. Teju, who is far more warm-hearted and generous and giving, would have cottoned on to it in an instant.

Finally, the fault is all DK's; it is he who starts off all this tamasha of a 'surprise' for Arjun by assuring Ovi - who till then has strictly low level expectations from Arjun - that he misses her a lot and has started loving her.

And as for whether the Arjun-Purvi love might not be a passing phase, the agonies they both go thru each for the other is part proof, and by far the larger part. The other, and clinching part of the proof is that the CVs have so decreed it, and planted the two of them slap bang in the middle of the opening poster for each episode! As the Oracle has spoken, this cannot be questioned!!

Forget about everyone but what are we supposed to feel for Ovi. If we are completely honest I think Ovi can sense that Arjun doesn't love her but still wants to marry him, I like to believe women are good at sensing these things. In real life I had a friend who loved another but she new that it would never work out, that he would never love her the way she needed to be loved or deserve to be loved. The dignity in the way she handled the whole thing was amazing, he is married to someone else now and she has accepted it. Mind you she loved him for years too so it wasn't a crush. I respect Ovi's love that is not the issue here it is what she did with it. From the first scene to the last scene I have seen of her, it has been all about me me me what I want, I think her need to quit her job to be with Arjun too was more to do with her needs than his. In a relationship of mutual consent it is about we not me. I would feel more sympathy for this character if she had more brains and guts unfortunately. Sensible girls are not as clueless as she is, and this has nothing to do with her materialistic nature. Hell I am materialistic most people are does that make us deserve less, I will never say no to diamonds. No being materialistic and squirmy of slums does not make us evil or useless or hateful or undeserving. Ovi deserves the best but that is for her to know, by settling for a man who doesn't love her it is like she is giving up on life and scared of losing, girl wake uppp life isn't that hopeless. She should have more belief in herself. The issue with Ovi is lack of self respect and awareness of what is going on around her. That is why I feel only pity for her, not sadness or empathy.

As the great Dalai Lama once said Love and Attachment are not the same. Love is hope, is selfless and fearless. Attachment is filled with fear and it manifests in ourselves in negative emotions. So does Ovi love Arjun probably not. She is only attached to him like many of us are in our relationships.
