Purvi was wrong today - Page 2

SW1 ^^^^ How do u know whether Ovi is half as generous as Purvi or not? I hope Purvi is half as classy and well mannered as Ovi...i can say the same too but this is not the time..Purvi is hurting and I understand her pain...This should not belittle what pain is coming Ovi's way..I suppose u see Purvi's pain...I see both their pain..I even see Arjun's pain..He was hurting, confused and in pain...Not in control of the situation..Old Arjun would have gone off...He is trying his best to find a way of handling this event which was "surprise" for him. It would have been Ovi who would have been in pain, hurt and devastation had Arjun beat his dad to it & told his surprise to all ...I have seen Purvi misbehave badly...Obnoxious and rude...So lets not start jumping to conclusions...I have given credit where it is due be it Arjun, Ovi or Purvi..Yet I have not seen Ovi misbehave or rudely to anyone..

I was very angry to see Purvi slap Arjun. Once Purvi slapped him he didn't even have to explain to her. This is the habit of Karanjkars, interrupting, slapping, pointing fingers etc. Purvi did a lot of that today she does not love Arjun at al. If she did she would have at least heard his explanation and listened to him but she slapped him. Arjun should take serious offense to the slap, slapping someone is not right.

When Ovi finds out about Arjun loving Purvi she would be too nice to slap him as she is the one who really loves Arjun. She has shown her love for Arjun so many times as she always praises him and defends him against the world. All Purvi is worried about is her image, she blamed Arjun for the MMS issue when it was actually her own fault(Not even Punni's) Ovi however is always showing concern for Arjun, her #1 priority is him but for some reason Arjun seems to love the person who is so selfish and hates him rather then the person who loves and cares about him. I wish they could show Arjun starting to love Ovi and marry her. Purvi would wreck his life.

Sulo the less said the better. This woman is so double standard to the max. One day she hates and criticizes Arjun for the MMS issue and the day she hears that he is getting engaged to Ovi she starts praising him to the skies just so she can get her hands on Arjun's money.😡 She has slapped Manav thrice and Sachu once. She let FBD(Dharmesh) off the hook when she got to know his truth about bigomy, Punni off the hook when she got to know about her affair, Manju off the hook when Sachin(Manav's brother) died, and her own daughter Archana off the hook for all the crimes and sins she has committed since day 1 but never hesitated to slap poor, innocent Manav and Sachu.

With what face was she scolding Sachu? When Sulo said to him, "today is the engagement and that is why I let you go but had it not been today, I would've taught you how to talk to elders."😡 I was upset that Sachu stayed quiet and allowed Sulo to insult him like that. He should've said to her, "what about you who can't talk to my baba in a civil way, and slap him and I every chance you get?" Or he could have said, "it was your daughter who who abandoned her daughters, my younger brother Soham died due to your daughter's careless and selfish behavior and why is she unnecessarily trying to bond with my sisters now? To separate them from my baba?" It won't help much if Manav finds out about how Sulo insulted him though he may not do much. He is already so happy that Sulo could come to Ovi's engagement and his own mother could not come. Hopefully Savita gets to know about what's going on she can definitely take down Sulo.

Varsha, I do get what you said that Ovi could be a surprise package ie nicer than the ARVI fans give her credit for, hence my response that I hope so, even half as nice as Purvi will do. Not saying Ovi won't be but we don't know yet so hoping she will be at least half as magnanimous as Purvi.
And no, I am not undermining the pain or the humiliation Ovi might have felt had Arjun disclosed the truth in that "Bari sabaah mein". I am not stating Arjun is not suffering, he made a bad judgement call, suffice it to say a lot has been said about his mistakes already, he is hurting, one side is the girl he loves and on the other is his friend whom he has misled.
As for Purvi behaving rudely, yes, she has behaved rudely to Arjun but he has not been a saint either - he has taunted her arrogantly misusing his power as her boss but again enough said about that as both have come a long way from that and it is all water under the bridge.
I would like to give Ovi the benefit of the doubt and hope she is as nice as Tej, what little we have seen of the character has come across as sweet at times, insipid at best, quite contriving ( her grandma's tricks no doubt) as she did succeed in entrapping the guy she loved. We won't hold that against her, after all Arjun was fair game then, unattached and an eligible catch. We will withhold judgement on her distaste at the living conditions in India, she has after all not been exposed to it and my mind is open to how this character develops, she hasn't had much air time, not as much a Purvi anyway and so when I said I hope she is half the surprise package you say she could be, I meant it in all sincerity.
But I stand by my original statement today Purvi was not wrong, she was wronged and anyone in her situation would have reacted in the same manner as she did. A slap here and a few words there were not enough to tell Arjun that what he had done to both girls was wrong, yes, even if Arjun was hurting.
I rest my case. 😉

Balla, I respect your opinions too but I think Sulo telling Sachin was not out of place. When a youngster behaves with such impudence to an elder, it warrants correction, be it his mother or a paraya, a stranger.

No, I don't think he knows Purvi is Archana's daughter. I have never seen him acknowledge this fact in the episodes.

SHame on Ovi who is born in priviledged family, rich, beautiful, loves dressing up and looking good...so given name Barbie doll..But she also has brains and heart...She is not dumb..But hate her as she is not magnanimous yet like Archana her mother or half as magnanimous as purvi since she is the one who is hurt right now..

Gosh I am so shocked at people not even having a heart to see what is coming Ovi's way but only stuck to Purvi's current pain...Dont get me wrong I feel for Purvi too...But I also feel for Ovi much more as she has loved him for a looong time...Love is love whether it is reciprocated or not dear..
