I also have made post on biological mother but the mother also has to be deserving. In this case Archana has made a choice to give her baby up to Varshu not only once but twice and somehow convinced her ULM into giving Soham up too. Yes Soham has brought out best in Varsha but she is also eyeing on her own sister's baby. Archana and Varsha both are wrong mothers for Soham.

Kools and Sowmya I agree with you both mostly...Kools I have slightly different take on Varsha wanting Soham. This arrangement is khatarnak for Soham in future. Mark my words.

Archana and Manav have to go thru some overhaul to be called worthy of being Soham's parents and to raise him as their own child. Right now Archana is not fit emotionally, intellectually or mentally. She has a huge handicap (V Sisters) K family.

I agree . Varsha I am seeing this purely from Sohams POV and currently I see NO WAY .Its the leser Evil of the two currently .

Who is there to adopt Soham Varsha ? U tell me that . What future does he have with Archana as mom ? only to be made a sacrificial scapeoat in one of her future whims . Manav disappoints as Dad ...he ONLY LISTENS TO HER .

satish opposes varsha and grandparents r better .

Left to me I wudnt give BOTH . But 3 years of not caring for him is too much for me to digest .

Personally I feel the only thing required is Manav to get some guts and shout at Archana- "Main + yeh ghar +bacche ya your sisters + K family- CHOOSE!"

That will be the end of all problems. Archana is good as long as she is away from her family. She goes beserk when she is with them. Rest of the time she is basically okay. She has been a good mother to other kids- Sachu, Punni etc.

She PROVIDES , yes . She cannot PROTECT . A mother provides and protects BOTH .

She is capable of giving food to baby and looking after it in sickness . She will be unable to protect its interests and fight for it .

In that sense , I admire Rasika . She is one hell of a woman when it comes to protecting her cubs . She will fight tooth and nail . ONE slap to her daughter and she had dragged damad by his balls to Mahila samiti and made him apologise in front of ALL . One injustice to Ajit and she fought dharmesh in his company and demanded legitimate reasons for FIRING him . She fulfils the function of PROTECT very well .

Archana's two sisters r capable of protecting their children . Archana isn't .

Kools, today Archana wanted to return Soham to Varsha NOT because Varsha was begging for her, but because she felt depressed and disappointed that she knew so little about her baby (even though I know it is majorly her fault), especially after Varsha taunted her.

She thought of Soham's betterment and didn't wish to hurt him or make him suffer cos of the temporary mother arrangement (same what we were saying). She wanted to stay with Soham very badly and yet didn't want him to suffer- she realised that this sudden separation from Varsha had not been taken well by the baby, so she said let Varsha take him, I will come and meet him everyday and when he grows familiar and comfortable with me, then I will take him away.

She didn't say that lets give the baby away to Varsha. She is still trying to make an attempt to make HERSELF worthy of the baby, make the baby trust her and accept her first. She hasn't admitted defeat STILL.

The decision is debatable, but somewhere the thought behind it touched me.
