I read many interesting replies to my post Soham's Nonsense and The commonality in all was

Soham should not be given to Varsha as Varsha is a BAD MOM

I ask this question to all ...is Archana a GOOD MOM ?

I don't think so . She is EQUALLY bad as Varsha .

If Varsha aborted her baby on purpose , Archana neglected her first baby ON PURPOSE ...not telling Manav about meds and nutrition simply coz she did not want to 'worry' him .

I would not have criticized her if she was without child and she would have hidden about HER health . Thats HER prerogative . But the child is ANOTHER human being ...Archana HAS to give it priority . That really is no choice . Whether manav has money or not , facts HAVE to be told to him and some arrangements have to be made regarding babys welfare . If Manav cannot feed it , go to Social services . What you most emphaticlly DON"T do is sitting in a kholi , letting the child weaken in ur tummy , starving it coz u find eating one packet of roadside food ROMANTIC .

Manav had beeen ZAPPED to find that facts had been witheld from him and the guilt on Archana's face ...deliberate guilt had been REMARKABLE . It had been OKAY with her that the child WEAKENED , her Manav ...a strong ADULT should not be pressurized was her SILLY CHOICE .

This makes her a good MOM ?

The first child she gave away in first trimester .The second after FULL DELIVERY . BOTH babies given away . Non attachment to EVERY BABY . This makes a good MOM ?

Promising SAAS that I will LOVE my adopted child Sachu MORE to prove a point ...this is sign of good mom ? Couldnt she say I will love BOTH my children EQUALLY ?

But nope ...its ARCHANA . One who USES babies to PROVE MAHAANTA POINTS .

What will be Soham's FATE when he returns from BAD MOM Varsha to BAD MOM Archana ? Anything KHAAS , SPECIAL ? Nope .

He will be bypassed for Sachu . He will be taken for granted by his own mom who will EXPECT him to comply with her in being mahaan ...For Archana has this tendency of EXPECTING Mahaanta from people who are in her control . She is extremely placating and subservient to people who are NOT in her control ...but ones who are in her control , she makes them do mahaan deeds and plunges them in misery .

When Manav was not in her control in 3 month stay she placated him . The moment he became her bhakt , she stripped him of everything ...loans of her maayka went on his head , his son went to her sister , everything was lost .

When Varsha Vaishu were in her control she made them give ALL ornaments for Vinods stupid Bandra Flat .

The moment Varsha Vaishu were OUT of her control when they branched out on their own , Archana started placating them and putting them on pedestal .

Similiarly when Soham will come in HER CONTROl , Archana will be downight UNFAIR to him . She will expect him to give in EACH time and give priority to Sachu . Since he is HER blood , she will expect MORE from him and at a point this will GET to Soham .

UNFAIRNESS is not always overt . Archana 's speciality is talking sweetly , crying copiously and being unfair . The way she did DOSTI with Madhuri and was UNFAIR to Madhuri's children .

I may be accused of being Archana BAsher . I am merely pointing what I always SAW .

This is no bashing . Its merely stating facts as I see them .

My point is this ...ALL 3 sisters are EQUALLY BAD MOMS . Vaishu is as bad as Varsha Archana ...she spoils her OWN KID and is step motherly to Varun . Archana will be good to STEP SON and unfair to OWN KID .

The very fact that she gave it away proves it has sTARTED .

So I dont see ANY reason why Soham should live with a mom who has a HISTORY of MAHAAN WHIMS , one horrific than the other ...whims which she can never deliver and in which others become SCAPEGOATS ...Manav , Shravani , Madhuri ...now SOHAM .

Don't see whyt the child should be put through these ordeals . His Dad Manav will not be able to do a thing if his mom gets mahaan highs AGAIN ...he only complies with her every wish .

So why not be in Joshi family where at least he has secure environment ?

His coming to D house may be FROM THE FRYING PAN INTO THE FIRE .

mom doesnt only mean giving birth ... it also means raising a child

well i dont agree about archu being "bad mom" ... well i can say it splitted as ... archu is a "very bad devki" ... but much "more excellent yashoda"

Kools I sooo agree with you...I was going to write a post saying all 3 k's are equally bad to be anyone's mom...but Varsha even with her super rage issues is in all probability a better mom then the other 2 K sisters combined...Who knows if Soham goes back to Archu or better still if Archu gets him back (as she got Manav back from Sarvani - what do we call these givers, aha 'Indian Givers' as the expression goes), what will happen to him then, will he be scarified again for another Mahantagiri, Arch gets a 'high' for...he is much better with Varsha who is seems to take care of him now so possessively:)

Archu is not at all good yashodaha in todays episode de hv shown as a mother how inefficient archana is. she became so busy wid soham dat she started behaving like a step mom to sachin...

in J house there are 4 people who r madly in love with soham

but in D house there is hardly anybody ...

manav is so busy ... i dont blame also ... bcoz he is not somebody with high degrees & he is somebody's employee ... so definitely he has to put his whole & soul ... but the fact cannot be changed that he cannot give time to soham

satish on other hand is much more rich than manav ... he is boss of his own business ... so he easily gives a lot of time to soham

savita has so many things to do ... kitty parties ... then look at damu ... what she will look at soham

damodar is utter sadakchaap bevda fit for nothing

last & the least that vandita is a horrendous & disgusting aunt

in J house there are people like bhavana & mohan who are very sophisticated decent & homely people

I agree 100% Kool Di, Archana will become unfair to Soham.

I think Soham should spend time at D house but not necessarily with Archana, just because of Archana's deeds, Manav and Savita should not be stopped from seeing Soham.

But yes, I hope the 2 families should work something out, as this could be a real problem for both the Deshmukhs and the Joshis. Now even Satish and his mom are starting to have little debates on who is right and who is wrong. I agree to some extent that Archana is a bad mom, but more than that she is a foolish person in general.

But yes, Archana will expect Soham to be mahaan just like she is, and she will definitely give attention to Sachu.

Archana and Vaishu are like opposites, Archana will be nice to the kid who is not her blood, and expects more from her own blood and Vaishu spoils the kid who is her blood and is unfair to the stepson.

I think Archana should have Varun, since he is not her blood she will probably take really good care of him.

I agree with whatever you are saying about Archana. She ignored her first baby and that is as bad as aborting. She should have told Manav about what the doctor said. But probably she believed that everything will be fine which did not happen and that was her foolishness. But, her intent was not to kill her baby for any selfish gains (like Varsha's career) or ego (fight with MIL and hubby). Please remember, even Savitha knew that Archana needs goods nutrition during pregnancy as she overheard what the doctor said. Later, she tried to help but it did not work out.

Anyway, in today's episode it is clarified how the baby landed in Varsha's arms. Now she is taking emotional control of the baby not Archana. She claims that only she can quieten the baby. Archana did not hand over the baby to Varsha to parent him. She should not have let her take the baby even for a day! As Rasika calls them "they are a bunch of emotional fools".

Now obviously, the baby got used to her. But, just give a few days the baby will just be fine with Archana. She will learn how to manage Sachu and Soham together. She just needs a few days or maybe just 2 days and she will be on track. But, I dont think Varsha would give her the chance. She wants the child to get used to just herself.

Ok, lets leave all the arguments apart.

Kools, lets assume that Varsha is your best friend and she is seeking your advice about how to handle the Soham fiasco. She is frustrated and she needs guidance. You know all the facts regarding Archana and Varsha and their respective families.

What will you advise her as a good friend? Please remember you are her good friend and you need to help her. You need to give her sound advice that will benefit her emotionally and mentally in the long run.

I am eagerly looking forward for your response.

Kools, we dont hate you. Infact I love your creative thinking. I always used to love reading your commentaries.

I told you in RMJ forum that these are just serials, watch it, enjoy it, debate or discuss if you like and just forget it. These are not our personal issues to take it to the heart.

The CVS are just emotionally torturing us and we are letting ourself be tortured by them.

You BET he will be sacrificed for one whim of Archana SOMETIMe in this serial . Its gonna be a super stupid whim . Manav will stand behind Archana and gulp . Savita will do some badbad but will be ignored by the Holy Package . I don't want it for Soham .

Just look at the Joshis .

1] Satish and manav have ONE way of showing love for wives ...giving IN . But Satish at least opposes Varsha from time to time ...he opposed Varsha by giving Manav license , that day he opposed her by telling Archana I am bringing Soham and coming to meet u .Manav NEVER opposes Archana . Soham will at least have an OBJECTIVE DAD

2 } The Joshi Grandparents are honestly BETTER than the D grandparents . Savita loves her grandkids but has been turned into a cartoon and Damodar doesnt feel a thing for ANY Grandkid ...he is a most indifferent , unemotional kinda funny man who is only bothered about his drinks nd food

3 ] Varsha has NO possibility of conceiving as off now so Soham being bypassed for ANOTHER sibling is remote . Archana MAY bypass him for Sachu . There he will be the only child and the LAADLA of Joshis .

I am looking at this strictly from Sohams POV .
