Karisma Kapoor’s old clip about describing Sunjay Kapur as 'a very rich man' goes viral; Here’s what she said

Karisma Kapoor's children are embroiled in a legal dispute with Priya Sachdev over allegations of a forged will of their late father, Sunjay Kapoor. As the case unfolds in the Delhi High Court, old interviews of Karisma have resurfaced online. One particular clip has gained attention, where Karisma describes Sunjay as a very rich man.

"I don't know about that. He has his own business and his father's business to take care of. I'll continue to have my career, but far more discreetly. Basically, I'm looking to enter into a new phase in my life. I've slogged it out for nearly thirteen years. And now it's time for me to find another level in my life. So far, I've been fulfilling a moral responsibility to my career, my producers, and fans," Karisma said, in an old interview with journalist Subhash K Jha.

The actress discussed her career plans post-marriage with Sunjay, adding, "That will continue. I'll do a good project whenever it comes my way. But now it's time for me to find personal happiness. I've cut down on my workload. Now people know why. I'm not one of those actresses who'd grab anything that comes my way. I'll continue doing my serial Karishma: The Miracle Of Destiny. And a couple of films per year."

Karisma Kapoor married Sunjay Kapur in September 2003, and they had two children, Samaira (born 2005) and Kiaan (born 2011), before separating in 2016. Although not directly involved, Karisma represents her children, Samaira and Kiaan, in their legal battle. They filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, alleging that their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, forged Sunjay's will to claim his assets, asserting the will's invalidity due to forgery.

The children's petition claims they haven't seen the original or received a copy of the alleged will, leading them to request the court to provide the document. Following the plea, the High Court instructed Priya to disclose all of Sunjay Kapur's assets, with the next hearing scheduled for October 10.
