Are you feeling that Minnie might overhear Babita telling HS about her past and how she mentally suffered?

No. I was talking about HS discussing Imarti with Babitha. Whenever I try to imagine that I get this uneasy feeling and end up imagining Minnie listening to him instead of Babitha. His most painful memory of Imarti must be the last night he spent with her. He hasn't talked about it to anyone , not even lale. When that comes out, he will be relieved to a great extent. I always try to imagine that conversation with Babitha. It makes me so uncomfortable and I end up seeing Minnie. It's just a fantasy of my PB obsessed mind .😆

I think a prequel would only work if there was some substance to it

I honestly don't want to see flashbacks of Babes married life. It seems like she had to take alot of shit from her in laws and really it would be her doing daily chores and being abused by everyone

However I think a spin off regarding Minnie can be made. Her future relationships, career aspirations etc etc. She has alot of potential cause she is young but has had so many experiences in life

Do you feel uncomfortable that Minnie would have to hear the details of that tragic night? Or that she will see the dept of his grief about it?

Hs has to open up in front of Babita. We always say that he knows her better. Could it be - that Babita's struggles were out in the open, giving him an insight into her, but he has never opened up to her about what he feels. Hence even her understanding of his state of mind is a tad bit less.

HS needs to share his grief. Only then can they be termed as equals and companions. He cannot sustain his own pain and yet always soothe hers.

Surprisingly NO. As a mother I would freak out if my child ever has to listen to such things. but with Minnie I have this confidence.... She might not completely understand the depth of his greif (No one can for that matter, people can never understand the depth of your feelings) but she has this ability of absorbing his sorrow and still staying strong.

This would also fulfil my wish of her getting Imarti's locket lol. I can't explain in words how I feel about this. Feelings have no logic you see. I know ideally it should be Babitha but.....

She will understand in whatever capacity she can at this age, and as she gets older she will see it in a different way too. Also, this might just be the trigger that will help her accept him fully as her father. She's not quite there yet.

I think if anyone should get Imarti's locket it should be Minnie, as though HS were passing some sort of legacy on to her.

Same. If anyone deserves to succeed Imarti, it's Mini. She should get the locket.

Succeed. I like that term here. In a weird way it suits the situation, even though they are not related by blood and have never met. I see it as a passing of the baton.

This 🙌. Why shouldn’t he open up to Babita? She will be his wife and she has an absolute right to know (if he chooses to share), and I hope he does because only Babita will understand the depth of his grief, his pain. She’s also suffered a lot of pain in her marriage, why wouldn’t she understand HS’s pain? Why do we not give Babita enough benefit of the doubt? I think the only person that could actually understand the intricacies of HS pain and grief is Babita. Mini will not be able to understand all the intricacies at this stage, and I hope he doesn’t share it with Mini, even then it’s too intimate of a feeling for HS to share it to Mini, but with Babita he can definitely open up. And I think she will take it in the right stride and ease his pain etc.
