But I want this show to end after 300 episodes. With the speed show is going I think babes and Minnie will reach their destination by then. I don't want them to drag it.

I would definitely want to witness Imarti and Maan's tragic love story. I LOVE that woman. I would also want to see.how HS coped with her death until mother daughter came into his life.

I would watch Babitha' s story if Aniruddh plays Ashok .He will be a treat to eyes in grey shade. If that happens I would also like to see Meeetha angle and how Ashok fell for her. All this only if Aniruddh plays Ashok otherwise I am not interested in Babitha's story.

Kudos to the writers here and the actress who played the part so brilliantly! I feel the same and am amazed that in a few short episodes I fell in love with her. Her attitude and strength was something I was in awe of.

I don’t personally think it would work if he played ashok. The viewer would never be able to see him as bad, after having fell in love with him.

LOL haha you too? I actually thought I’d be the only one.

I wouldn’t say Imarti-HS didn’t have chemistry but to me it was kind of a typical chemistry...push and pull waali typical passionate chemistry and the kind of scenes that many pairs on TV have. Also, I wasn’t very impressed by the actress playing Imarti. She acted aptly for the part, but I didn’t feel any special connection to her acting 🤷‍♀️

I’m more fascinated by the slow burn chemistry between HS-Babita....it’s so much more earthy and compelling to watch....two people so old school on the surface that they don’t even address each other by name, have barely held hands but just the way they look at each other screams of immense passion inside....it comes out once in a while and it’s all the more effective for that.

I actually meant when PB ENDS. And I’d only like to see spin offs as a way to kind of continue watching the characters I’ve come to love. It’s literally got nothing to do with the current show

I didn't say anything before cuz people on the forum fell in love with her, so I didn't wanna offend anyone. But now I got you 😆 Anyways I'm glad her chapter is over. I'm so excited for Hanita's beautiful journey Also hoping Minni will pursue her photography dream 😎

@Bold - Same Hanita ki to baat hi kuch aur hai ❤️

Besides I'm a sucker for slow burn romance, but won't mind a Dheere Jalna part 2 😛

She did look very young...honestly she was more a girl than a woman....vivacious, spunky. But she lacked charm IMO. She checked off the boxes on paper but that special something an actor can bring to take a character to another level wasn’t there.

I’ll give Ashnoor as an example. This kid has megawatt charm. She can literally take anything on paper and lift it 10 notches higher. Mini is also vivacious, vibrant and spunky....Same traits as Imarti, but they are way more charming in Ashnoor.

I was content viewing Imarti through HS ki eyes. It is his pain that moved me....not Imarti herself. Does that make sense?

Like with Babita, I feel moved by her pain and all the trauma she went through. With Imarti, despite the tragic death, it’s not her individual character that moves me, but the impact it left on the lives she left behind.

Exactly! She didn't have a very strong screen presence, hence I'm glad they didn't drag her track.

Man Ashnoor is the best child actor I've seen by far! She's even better than many of the grown up actors. I'm so impressed by her acting she's brilliant 👏

@Bold - Yes it makes perfect sense. She was introduced all of a sudden, maybe that's another reason why we couldn't connect to her. I think makers did this on purpose. Why would they want us to get attached to a cameo 😆 As long as I'm able to connect to the trio I'm good 😎

Lol arey but most people DID connect to her na...we seem to be in the minority who didn’t 😆

So I’m not sure if that was actually the intention from the makers. Imarti will likely be a recurring cameo, so I doubt we’ve seen the last of her. She will keep cropping up at different points in FBs or imagination scenes because her memories loom large over the story.

I don’t have a problem with the character or actress per se but I’m definitely not on the bandwagon of being floored by her either🤷‍♀️😂....she’s like ok hai scene mein, theek hai. My heart doesn’t warm up watching her scenes like it does for HS-Mini-Babita scenes.

Anyways, these are small things....the makers have managed to balance things well so far and I hope that continues :)

I’m not too familiar with the culture in India but I often hear that within a home which has multiple generations, there is usually a hierarchy, the oldest being at the top. I also hear that married women, more often than not don’t find it easy. For one, being thrust into a new home with a new way of doing things, and how she’s just expected to spend her life adjusting. As a female myself who will never experience life this way it seemed so far fetched and out there so I thought it would be a nice way to see from a young naive age, the journey that a lot of women in India actually have to go through. Babita herself, having gone thru it, from dealing with lovely taking out her unhappiness on her to taunts about her husband being away, to being reduced to essentially a housemaid. There’s so much they can show, including lovely’s infertility issue (which I find strange how she’s the one who was taunted when it could actually be sukhi that’s infertile).

Tbh, I stay away from melodramatic shows as I can't tolerate them. But if it's KK as the CVs, then I'll give it a chance.

I like the current version of HS....boorish louts are a dime a dozen on TV and it’s refreshing to get this evolved version of HS. Yeh ML ko sudhaarne waale storylines feel like overkill.

Imarti is effective as a backstory device....expanding on that angle will likely reduce its impact.

I find the current version of HS way more interesting in terms of the conversations he has with people. With Imarti, it seemed like there was a lot of passionate romance, but that’s about it....HS fell for her on their wedding night, Aur kya? I don’t see anything else in Imarti’s personality to even explore.

This show actually begins when HS-Mini-Babita come together....that’s the meat of it. Anything before that can’t live up to what these three have IMO.

Oh same here. It was perfect the timeframe they showed Imarti. To be quite honest, I didn't like the Imarti track that much, But koi nahi, I understand HS ko back story dekhana jaruri tha. Glad they didn't drag too much and got it over with.

The actress playing Imarti did a good job, but I didn't feel that much connection with Imarti/Maan, as I do with HS and Babita.

@Bold: WORD!!! Totally get what you are saying. It was a typical chemistry between HS and Imarti, sure it was passionate and nice to see HS that way, but I didn't feel as connected to their chemistry as I do with HS and Babita. Like you said theirs is a unconventional slow burning chemistry, it will take time for them to reach the comfort level but once they both get there, its gonna be beautiful for both of them. Something both have never experienced before . People say HS has a lot of passion, he does no doubt, but I see immense passion in Babita's eyes for HS. She hasn't found the outlet yet to express that, but omgg once she does, I think HS himself will be surprised to see the amount of love Babita is gonna pour on him.

+1....Babita actually has a lot stored inside her that hasn't found an outlet for expression....it mainly comes out through tears....but her eyes give away the intensity of her emotions for HS in many scenes.....and he absolutely sees it too....like he once mentioned to Mini, he can very much see that tadap in Babita's eyes....that yearning.

She basically needs that sense of security and confidence, and once she gets it, she won't hold back her passionate self.....even HS is holding himself back right now because it's so very different with Babita for him.....so he needs to find his own rhythm with her.

In some ways, HS-Imarti ki chemistry was like ladakpan waali chemistry....I also found the "Tu mujhe maar ke hi chhodega" line weird even for depicting some kind of dark passion....lol

HS-Babita have this simmering chemistry which has more depth.....their eyes are used very effectively to say a lot.

@Bold: Ohh yes, i am glad you brought up that scene. HS can absolutely see the yearning in her eyes. Their eyes speak a lot of what they feel for each other.

Oh I am so waiting for that day when Babita will initiate intimacy . That confidence will come with marriage for sure. I wanna see a bold Babita wooing her husband, making HS go weak in his knees 😳
