Maya was casted cos they couldn't find anyone else . Kaddu was overconfident and overestimated Wahaj's popularity

SMD’s plot sucks. Good actors can’t do much if the plot is messy. No actor could save GM when its plot started derailing, not even Zahid & Adnan who were superior actors. Sohai was impactful even in that trash but I will give it to her screen presence than her acting.

Maya is not as good as Wahaj but he has had chemistry with Madiha & Ramsha who aren’t as good as him either.

So much fuss about views and trp.

Why do we watch shows?

Two types of audience

One who watch a show only if it is good. They have certain satisfaction after watching a good episode. They love a character not because a certain actor/actress plays it but because they really feel connected towards the character. Views and trp doesn't matter them much.

Another set of audience: They force themselves to like the show just because their fav is part of it. More than them liking the show, they focus more on whether others liking it or not. They go into extreme defensive mode.

The former ones will stay happy and have fun during watching period, latter ones will end up as frustrated souls.

All I want is a Noor Jahan prequel next year..I hope Ary capitalizes on it I want to see a younger NJ and her backstory so bad that’s the kind of grey I crave for ..and Ae Ishq e Junoon to continue to be a satisfying thriller. It’s really doing it for me right now Qasim went from a sufiyana slow burn ghazal-ish show to a fast paced taut thriller and what I like is how he delivered on both counts and is doing so well with big canvas and outdoor shoots and some of the shots are so stylised and fresh. The whole swimming pool and assault sequence ..the camera work was superb! Please I hope it doesn’t get spoiled. NJ ending worked and also dint work for me. I hope Ae Ishq delivers that bang for the buck finale..wonder how many episodes it will be..I don’t foresee more than 25 for the pace it is at. Ary should also be credited for not dragging out its shows.

About yumna being in the league of Saba, Sanam, Sania please can we for once stop shoving this pr narrative?

Idt Yumna can manage to pull off a docile, innocent bano from daastan.

Idt Yumna can manage to pull off a mannat from cheekh or what saba did in Hindi medium.

Heck, yumna won't be able to pull off a khirad or kashaf too. So yeah if she can't pull off any of the roles played by these marvellous actresses then she doesn't deserve to be listed along with them.

If chemistry is based on good acting, then humayun had no chemistry with yumna in gm, so according to the theory does this mean yumna isn't a good actor🤷‍♀️ okay then we'll believe that.

Humayun is a one note actor. I never considered him good. Logon ko dikhti hogi chemistry but the characters didn’t make any sense together to me.

Humayun was always known more for being a superstar than a great actor. He has always had limited range always but he does those roles well.
