It's Humayun, I haven't seen one movie of Fahad's 🙈. Anyone who has seen them, did I miss out by not watching them?

I agree with what you said. But chemistry ke liye scenes bhi hone chahiye.

I put this in the SMD thread but this is ss of EVER frame where Wahaj & Maya are seen together.

Show these frames to anyone who never saw SMD, they will think Wahaj is playing a bank loan officer and Maya is playing a client who has defaulted on her loan Yeh konsi love story hai where every single frame in which the leads are together in the first 15 episodes, they're not looking at each other, or one or both of them is either turned to the side or showing their back

And some smd fans direct their anger on yumna for smd being a failure . Why ? Why can't smd fans defend their show without blaming it on yumna ? Some of His fans gave terebin 's entire credit to wahaj and dragged yumna mercilessly . Ab kya hua smd main? Ban gayi chemistry ?

There is definitely such a thing as "chemistry" but I believe it has more to do with the characters their roles and the dynamic between them in a believable story rather than just the actors themselves being in proximity of each other. Often PDrama fans seem to equate chemistry with simply liking two people together.

The back and forth between Yumna and Wahaj advocates is especially amusing because both sides accuse the other of doing exactly what they're guilty of themselves.

The chemistry between on-screen pairs is unpredictable, and there's no guarantee that a hit pairing will replicate the same magic in future projects. Take, for example, Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra. While the first season of Kitni Mohabbat Hai was a massive hit, adored by youngsters for the lead pair's chemistry, the s2—with a new storyline but the same leads—failed to recreate that magic and fell flat. On the other hand, Hiten and Gauri's pairing worked wonders. I’ve criticized this aspect multiple times here and in the show’s thread. Frankly, the ratings it received are far more than it deserved. Many viewers, including myself, dropped the show midway because it simply didn’t resonate.

Using the GM to justify SMD’s failure doesn’t change the reality—it’s a terrible show. Everything, from the writing and direction to the acting, fell short. Even Wahaj, despite the hype surrounding him, delivered a mediocre performance in this script. The clips shared everywhere else and in the forum clearly highlight some underwhelming moments from him. No one expected much from the rest of the cast, especially Maya, since it’s widely known that her acting isn’t strong.

Reviewers are primarily calling out Wahaj because he was the only one people had high hopes for in this project. Everyone feel bad for him because they care.Criticizing Yumna, mocking her appearance, or undermining her previous work won’t change the fate of SMD.

Idk why some think that the criticism or facts about yumzi's acting, shows and their trps is linked to smd. Please understand yumna is a separate entity, she has nothing to do with smd.

Just because smd is underperforming doesn't negate the fact that gm which was her comeback show post her peak tb hype has been a disaster and that humyum pair was rejected by audience. Even nayab bombed and qej is also underperforming on a no competition slot because audience have rejected yumzi college girl act.
