wanted to see what the hoopla was about the drama. watched the first few episodes and then had to stop because it was upsetting. meerab has a right to feel angry. really don't understand her foster/adopted parents. they love her but they are dancing to this maa begum. why, why, why???? 😡😡 to not even open the door to embrace her? 😭😭 is meerab five? that she won't be able to adjust to her new home unless they ruthlessly cut off from her? why are they listening to maa begum?
how could they reject her like that -- was heartbreaking to watch.
and maa begum obviously wants meerab because of money or something nefarious. she isn't her dream daughter-in-law in any sense of the word. everyone in this family instead treats her like a piece of furniture that can be moved around from one spot to another. she is a human being with feelings and a good amount of self-respect. so am glad that rather than crying in a puddle of tears, she is lashing back with full fury.
as for murtassim, he deserves her wrath. 😡 if you or your friend have experienced this during their own rishta process, you will understand why mareeb is so upset with him. yes, he is the reason her world shattered. why? because he was too egoistic to make a stand and say no to the wedding. instead, he decided to let her fight while he knew what kind of people his mother and uncle were.
then, he says "oh I didn't know about your parent history" -- well moron, it doesn't matter if you didn't know. you knew what kind of family your folks were -- why would you make her fight because you are too lazy to put a full stop to their shenanigans? it is no wonder that meerab called him a coward who hides behind a woman to say no. 👏 point, meerab. how does he respond? he slaps her because she just called him a coward. 👎🏼🤢 well, your slap does not make you macho and hide the truth. 😡
in real life, that happens in rishtas. there are so many stories I can share -- the guy is clearly not interested. but instead of telling his parents 'no', he will make it the girl's fault. and so everyone jumps on the girl and her family. it becomes a huge tamasha. ofcourse the rishta does not move forward or anything but the guy's family will spread chatter that it was all the girl's fault. so meerab is 100% right to unleash her anger and frustration because his actions had huge consequences for her. face it like a man and take the punches murtassim!!!!
after a break, will get back to watching the rest of the episodes, but no, am not going to feel a twinge sorry for murtassim. given his character, he could have put a stop to this drama. he could have protected her from the storm. instead, he sat back and watched because of his ego. so much for his macho mustache. 👎🏼
go meerab go -- unleash your fury like a typhoon on this family. all of them deserve to hear you roar and create havoc. that is the only language they understand. they will not treat you better if you give them kindness. instead they will stomp all over and put you in a cage so that you can never fly. they will ensure that you only have two options -- either death (or wishing for it) or a miserable life where you have no voice only a shadow of yourself. so, don't retreat and sit in a puddle of tears like every other helpless FL who cries for episodes on end. no, hold on to your anger and be focused. don't let them break your spirit and let your anger shield you from them. become a lawyer and fight for injustice.
