True. Because of this hype by industry people only great actors would have signed gentlemen and SMD. Industry now needs to simply hold him back and not sign on his demands at least that nothing can be changed in his scripts and bla bla.

Yeah. I really hope this is non-glam role. No heropanti. No ramp walks and beauty shots. No C word within a 20 mile radius. Preferably, a ghareeb role or an ordinary village guy.

I hope his role is quite challenging ( this was offered to fawad, so m sure it's challenging)n m quite excited about the drama. I love mahira alot n after a long time I will enjoy a show where I love both the leads . M sure this will be awesome.😎

It's Mahira's first project on ptv after a few years so I am expecting her to pick a good script. Haissam too, after GM, is looking for a redemption so he will be extra careful in picking the script. So overall I feel this would be a pretty solid script and well executed.

However, I am keeping expectations in check in terms of screentime or that his cktr will have as much of a focus. But even if Wahaj is not the main focus, I just want his cktr to be three dimensional and have a proper arc, be action oriented and have a role in driving the plot forward. And of course, where there is ample margin to perform. In JBG, it was technically Talha who was the ML (the drama is based on a book written by the irl guy played by Talha and tells his story), but Rumi was such a powerful cktr and Wahaj performed it so well that it didn't matter. I just want a cktr driven and performance driven role. Rest I don't care.

I don’t know haissam directed shows much. Mahira though is an absolute favorite.

I have no doubt on wahaj’s acting skills. Only he should stay away from the tiger walks and stay 1000 miles away from chemistry as you mentioned.

I am yet to watch Jbg.

There were reports that shoot will start post Eid, so hopefully we get news on that soon.
