Yes. But in different floors. 😆 Each one of them had a kitchen. It was a big mansion. And they kept fighting untill my grand father passed away. Then my uncles sold the mansion, build their own houses and took their moms with them. 😃

That's how it happens.... The reason i find 2 wives living in the same house which are shown in pak dramas to be unrealistic... In normal cases, they wont see eye to eye.

So what do you think guys? Do such things exsist in real life too? I am not jus talking about sexual assault , but also any type of abuse in the joint family. 😕

Yes it true... Its much worser than you can imagine.... Kids being sexually abused by relatives or acquaintances are very common.... In joint families it becomes difficult to keep an eye on children all the time.... In india, most people don't report it due to the shame associated with it.... It happens with girls as well as boys.

Turkey is a safe country for women. As you already know I live in a joint family. My uncles, their wives and children live in the same house with us. I have 6 cousins (bros), 2 of whom are already married and 4 unmarried.

I just read an article. A 39-year-old man raped his own brother's daughter.A few days later ruthlessly murder kr diya tha.

Dar si jati Hai sila was a depressing drama.

It happens everywhere... Even in safe countries... Because government and authorities can ensure safety in public places... whatever happens indoors comes out only if people are ready to report it... Children are easy targets for perverts as it easy to silence them.

Yeah, i think joint family is fine only when yu live with your immediate family such as husbands siblings and parents. Having cousins and uncles living with you is wrong. As soon as children reach the age of puberty, it is better to move out.

Yes. This is what I feel too. That when you have grown up kids it is better not to live in a joint family. If someone have to live with the old parents in the same house, so only one family should be allowed to. 😊

I am glad that in your country are safe. I am praying than none face any kind of abuse . It is sad that ppl are growing violent in these days.😒 Everyday we read about a rape or a murder.

I am sure these things happen everywhere. But only few ppl report them. Sometimes after the victim gets murdered.😒 Dramas like DSJHS, Haiwan , Meri Guriya, Muqabil , Bikhri Moti and Sisakiyan. although depressing , were eye opening. Our children are easy targets.. not just in a joint family system , but in the nieghbourhood. It is almost impossible to keep eye on them all the time. But we can talk to them, and warn them.

Usually its the eldest son who has the responsibility of taking care of everyone and staying with the parents. My hubby is the eldest maybe thats why he wants to keep everyone together😆

I think the eldest kid has to leave the house first. 😉 His children will grow up fast, so it is better he has his own house. The youngest kid should stay with the parents.😃

It depends of the wife though. The more willing one should stay. Better be a housewife .. it is always tough to a working woman to manage .😒
