Part 9 teaser

Neel didn't react outwardly. He sat there, looking calm and collected. He looked nonchalant, but really he was just relieved, he had gotten a life line. 6 months. Avni was still bound to him for 6 more months. He had 6 months to see if this love was one-sided or not. To see if she was into him as much as he was into her. He had 6 months to save his loe story. To sae his heart. Neel bit the inside of his cheek to hide his smile, but Neela could see the facade he was putting up. She touched his arm, and nodded reassuringly.

But then Ali opened his mouth and Neel knew nothing good would come from it.
"Lekin Neel, technically tumhari shaadi Avni se nahi, Ananya se huyi hai."

Avni, Neela and Neel glanced towards each other and then towards Ali, in confusion.

"Toh, mujhe zaada kuch toh nahi pata marriage laws baara mein, lekin I searched this up when the marriage first happened. Avni ne apni aasli identity tumse chippayi hai during the wedding, plus the fact that you have wedding cards addressing the bride as Rhea. Tum dono marriage annullment ke liye apply kar sakte hon, I think. Humare paas proof toh bhi haye. Iss sadardi se tum dono zaada zaldi se baar ho jayoonge."

Neel felt his heart drop.
